I do not have much to go off of for the Prairie and Wasteland Elders. the one sure piece of evidence is that they are physically large. Prairie Elder clearly seems to overlook the welfare of light creatures, perhaps encouraging the ancestors to be attuned with nature or that they are one with nature, thus should respect it as much as they utilize it. Wasteland Elder's realm is, well, a wasteland. like Vault Elder, they too had strayed from their original purpose. instead of maintaining harmony between the ancestors and nature, they disregarded or exploited nature, turning their realm into the Wasteland it is today.

There is concept stuff of the elders being Ancestors who got special powers, but there is suggestions in-game that the elders are 'fallen stars' and some kind of alien completely different from the ancestors

Not exactly what you meant, but many think vault elder was the last to go when sky fell because of how powerful they are and how little darkness there is in vault, but some think it is is isle elder but i forgot why

Also it's pretty agreed upon that the fall of sky is the fault of the Eden elder and that the others had some involvement as well, mainly forest elder and vault elder due to the abundance of darkstone, and wasteland as a location is very much associated with the fall as it is heavily polluted and industrialized, although the elder isn't commonly linked with it

This is also why people are kinda hostile towards the elders of forest and vault, since forest is in the state it is now because it was mined for darkstone so the elder is fairly responsible for the fall, and vault just has so many secrets that people don't trust them

I also have a crazy theory about the placement of elder temple candles that would imply vault is definitely hiding something, if you want to hear it

The theory stating that eden is a grand city would hake sense as it would be on the highest level. The 5 levels would be- beneath cloud cover ( like wasteland), in between and beneath in a sense ( forest ), Partially above, partially beneath ( valley ), in cloud cover ( like daylight prairie ) and over main cloud cover ( like eden ). There are other points of interest in Sky similar to this.

For instance, in the Forest temple, there is a room off to the right (facing the elder throne/shrine).
There used to be a place to meditate on and open the door. You needed 4 players to activate the door. Opening the door used to reveal a spirit trapped inside. While this is no longer working in Sky, the room still exists and is accessible through clipping or going OOB.
The spirit was Thoughtful Director, who would have been a non-season spirit at the time. Then it was repurposed to be part of the season of Winter/Rhythm and moved to a side room in Vault (coincidently also to the right as the skykid enters the room).

Partly because of the magical theme (fairies, elves, gnomes and fairytale things), and partially to help include other types of light creatures.
Aquatic animals might have trouble in the woods, yet the jellyfish and mantas seem to work well.

There was concept art to add deer.
While I get a deer is odd to see with the aquatic creatures, but hear me out.

Birds kinda work because one can think of seagulls going into the water, penguins in the seas and fisher eagles/duck by the water.
Deer may not be well know to be in the water, yet some ungulates like moos like to swim to cross lakes.

Beside, a world big enough to house giant creatures and elders, ought to have regions that can include other types of creatures.

Understanding the game is still kinda small and might not be able to hold a whole world on a single phone, unless TGC can use the phone's entire storage space. Though here is hoping.

||In the original timeline, Abyss Guide tries to save Cannoneer, but they fail and both of them die. This breaks the crew and this prevents them from ascending.

To get them ascending, we went into the crew's memories. (except for Abyss Guide, they're aware that we're doing it) Abyss Guide helps us get into the crew so that no one sees anything wrong.

At the 5th quest, we change the memory in that Cannoneer was successfully rescued.||

However, Abyss Guide's memories didn't get altered, so they have to deal with it the hard way and thus can't ascend yet.

It depends on what you're interested in. 'lore' sounds simple, and oftentimes we... really don't have a lot of info because the lore is purposefully 'vague' and 'up to interpretation'.
But also there is just a lot of stuff in sky. Are you looking for king lore, elder lore, wasteland war lore, lore about ancestor culture? It's a lot easier to break them up into parts and look up what you like first

Dark plants feed of negative energy such as dark water, possible places of trauma etc. while corrupting the surroundings.
While they tend to grow in places not in direct sunlight and is damp. They can grow in any place that may have been corrupted or have been a place with a possible traumatic event.

Such as the dark plants growing around the area of the light miner (crying spirit).
Another example of the dark plants growing in a place that has had trauma and is corrupting the area is the whalebones.
The whale has died (trauma), and of unnatural causes (based on concept art).

There is another memory where a spirit is covered in dark plants.
The piggyback spirit in Dawn (from season of lightseekers) has a fragment with the rejecting voyager covered in dark plants.
This might theoretically imply that the ancestor was ill, or corrupted, or even were close to death at the time. We don't know for sure.

Depending on who you are dealing with. A younger skykid would glow brighter and the heart beat is more audible.
While an older/mature skykid would become dimmer to hide better.
Either case, all skykids can glow brighter or dimmer depending on their mood.

I just looked up if irl mantas are slimy and they do have a coating of mucus on them so maybe that’s the manta part in manta shampoo.

But that mucus is used to protect the ray from bacteria, if where thinking ethically then apparently if you directly touch a manta ray, the oils in ur hand can counteract the mucus and the rays immune system is less effective.

So manta shampoo is probably not cruelty free if you really think about it, but maybe there’s ways they do it without harming the manta…hopefully

I guess all im really trying to get across is that; the basic theory is trauma and death creates darkness plants, based off of their locations and the spirits you can find nearby.

but these lil tiny growths, while secluded in a dark, moist area, dont seem to be related to any trauma or death. The spirit nearby is Exhausted Dock Worker. You could say maybe his exhaustion is the trauma, you do "burn" his spirit there, but otherwise his story/cutscene is very serene? he seems to be dancing on the way to pick up the jars.

The tiny plant growth seems to be coming from just the light contained in the jar itself, which we know contains light from Laughing Light Catcher.

What it implies? idk. Maybe these lil plants are so small because there wasnt a large amount of trauma or death nearby to feed off of, just tiny lil pots of light itself, which had become corrupt..somehow?
