I have been thinking about what the whole parent thing means for The Almighty Timeline. We can’t use it too much unfortunately, unless we assume how long ancestor lifespans are. But… does it mean that the lightseekers and base game Forest spirits existed at the same time? The lightseekers have a very much ‘near the end of the kingdoms lifespan’ vibe, if not just straight up post apocalypse, but some of the forest spirits show them discovering the realm. It’s super weird

i have a headcanon that the questgivers are sort of like the first being buried in a cemetery, stuck in the world of the living to shepherd those that come after them.
which would mean they were the first of their group to succumb, and for some seasons it makes so much sense since they are usually the leader of the group & it would make sense for said group to lose cohesion after such an event...

remember how I said the assembly spirits might be mimicking an already existing scout organiizafion in forest and using their symbols/stuff… what if that group was the lightseeekers…

I mean, timeline seems to fit. The Assembly scouts would need to do the same thing as the Lightseekers, and would probably use their stuff (maps, clothes, tools). Lightseekers have to travel a lot for their job, and it’s heavily implied the season revolves around forest. Instead of adopting their symbols and coloring, we’d have to say the scouts tried to make a new organization with their own colors/symbol, but the rest fits surprisingly well.

It's possible lightseekers were more numerous than the ones we save, perhaps they were known by the average ancestor, maybe even admired since their job looks pretty important
maybe the kids admired them too, and tried to build a shelter for light in the rain, just like the lightseekers found and protected light in dangerous places
and, in a way, the assembly scouts succeeded... on some days, the rain clears from their treehouse

The hearth is lit, even after their passing, for weary travellers to take shelter from the rain and rekindle their light.

the prince and the king are interpretations of elusive figures that we see throughout the game;
the most blatant depiction of the king is the giant towers with diamonds on top that we see in the golden wastelands, most notably the battlefield area (where 3 krills appear if you trigger a mechanism to open the temple doors), but they are also assimilated to a general diamond symbolism (credits to Kamilico for the picture)
the prince (not the TLP one) is the shining figure drawn in the prophecy cave, or so most of us here think.

I’ve always personally felt that the King and the Prince are the same person because if the Prince is the King’s son, then presumably there would have to be a Queen as well. Honestly, this arrangement makes them look so much more like decor, and the heads don’t have anything to shoot out of. And if they did hold flame, the reason there arent any light houses by the sea is probably because boats already had them. And who knows, there could have once been some along the walls by the sea harbors where big boats pulled in. The fact that this one has completely crumbled and sunken into the dirt/sedement over here in front of battle field indicates that they’re quite old.

Nope, that isn’t actually wasteland’s temple. We can use this isle mural as a reference to see what wastelands temple is supposed to look like, and it’s the silhouette in the background, not the fort.

Not to mention - we probably need to look at the top left art piece independently of the others, since we have no evidence that they’re related (they could jsut be different ideas early on for rhe mood & when it’s supposed to take place). I mean… look at that picture. There are storm clouds everywhere. It’s almost completely dark. There are imposing statues everywhere; there are no light creatures to be seen. It definitely doesn’t LOOK like it’s thriving.

I don’t usually believe in using concept art to prove/disprove things [iirc the idea of them being turrets came from a piece of concept art], but when all the evidence ingame supports it still being true and the only other options just don’t make as much sense, it’s a lot easier for me to accept.

It’s like the refineries - you only see what they’re meant for and how they work in concept art, but considering the design for them never got changed, and a lot of other in game evidence seems to suggest that their function and the way they functioned remained the same from concept art to current game, there’s no reason to challenge it, because that explanation makes the most sense

• Why does wasteland look like that when it’s supposed to be thriving and happy? I mean, maybe we’re just seeing this at a bad time, but cmon. Visual cues are a thing that exist. If the artists wanted us to think “oh wasteland is thriving and happy” from looking at that top right art piece… why did they make it look like that?
• Why there’s no turrets near the sea if they’re supposed to be used like lighthouses to navigate.

Some of your other points, like the North Star one, seem like a stretch, but I digress.

it does look like the King! But it’s also a real constellation: Cassiopeia, the Vain Queen. According to myth, she boasted that she and her daughter Andromeda were more beautiful than the Nereids, which angered Poseidon and led him to do something (varies depending on telling) to try and destroy her kingdom. She and her husband end up trying to sacrifice Andromeda to the seas to space the kingdom (though andromeda doesn’t actually die bc Perseus shows up hurray)

Who’s the king.

The King is/was the ruler of all of the Elders. Much larger in size, **supposedly **wielding power that rivals Megabird and the lost Elder of Eden, the king's other name is Resh. Resh is the Herbrew name for the elder, which like the other Herbrew names, were from the concept art but not considered canon.

in my headcanon it's the opposite, Dawn is the one who sacrifice himself to shield the breach in the invisible barrier the Elders were erecting with their combined powers.

So when the 5 left their sigils on the Eden Door he was behind the door, pulling out a Gandalf "you shall not pass" VS the Darkness/Balrog kind of move.

His body perished so his soul was the first to get trapped in his pocked dimension, with even some damage took in his spiritual self (damaged mask) like when he safely returned to Isle and reached us exhausted when we met him (Eden visible from afar there)

Even if the 5 were able to seal the Catastrophe, the darkness radiation spread anyway and somehow slowly disrupted the "spiritual unity" (when stars where unite, our power was infinite) so in the end the survived Elders slowly became secluded on the pocket dimensions and with their shrinking powers even the realms fell into slumber

I'd like that to be true too, but I also notice some in some part that slowmode seems rather a lag of the CPUs (the Lightseeker Guide, walks pretty fast, but when it gets near the clouds and the windy part, drastically slows down while the processor maybe need to calculate the cape flapping parts)

About skykids, I think that EITHER the cape slows down their fall (even if with TLP scarf "cape" there is the same falling speed) OR the skids themselves has minimal gravitation powers that their use to control their flaps (even unwillingly, like when we levitate during the new wedge process)

I could be wrong, because general architecture shapes are a struggle at best to see in wasteland (it’s super dark and foggy) but I interpreted these two buildings as something we haven’t seen before. I thought the one in the front was the broken temple at first (whefe the spirit is) but it doesn’t look like it, and it seems way too small to be the fort building unless it was added onto later. The building in the back could be the temple, but considering how little we see of it, I’m not confident saying that

I've actually had a thought that sorta leans more headcanon that all the Elders are suppose to have a "twin" or were to be "paired up" with each other. Prairie and Wasteland Elders are both large, strong figures. Isle and Vault are mindful, nimble figures.

Forest Elder could've had a parallel with the true Valley Elder, but instead something happened and we got instead. Still, you could argue that their traits may still parallel if we consider all of them limber and dexterous or even focused around craftmanship

• We see spirit memories in Hidden forest that heavily imply that they were exploring/discovering the realm, as well as stone cairns scattered around on the path. Since we don’t see those memories in other realms, my educated guess is that they’re meant to imply the forest was discovered Later
• We see murals of a location in hidden forest in cave of prophecies which is largely assumed to have taken place Really early near the start of kingdom. for timeline reasons. this mural is thought to be a depiction of the place orange light was discovered, which means hidden forest was ALSO discovered pre prophecy?!

Yeah. Who the war was between and how it all went is sometimes disputed, but where definitely was a war or battles of some kind. As Mat said, in the final area of Wasteland is where one such battle took place.

Ok, so, What I know of and what seems to be there from context clues. The ark did not do what happened in Noahs ark. My personal theory is that the krill you see behind you when you step out of the transport boat to get to the area, caused the ark to crash and break. Also if you look through the stories of the spirits, they didn't have supplies to feed themselves and starved. Now in the new area the Reef thats where things probably flooded after eden exploded
