Not exactly, I'm pretty sure that if they did something like that, it'd only be to light creatures that made a huge impact and/or somebody was really close with. I mean we don't make a grave for every single animal that dies on earth.

Dying unnaturally could mean that the creature did not make it to orbit.
That is what all of them are trying to do, right?

So, if they dont make it, then their bodies would naturally decompose where they died, whereas if they make it to Orbit (megabird) their bodies are turned into light and the energy does not go to waste.

Heyo lore chat! i just had a theory/thought moment...so i'm in graveyard, and seeing the exit from there to crab fields, not the one you see from first krill room but other one? there's that tall gate looking thing....and like....idk if anyone ever thought this, but omg, what if all of graveyard and crabfields used to be filled with water???? Cause like....in season of abyss, the krills are under water, and like....AHHH also the pipes and such

only reason it wouldn't make as much sense is cause of the first area of golden wasteland, with the dock there to lost ark area, but also....think of this, when you go to graveyard from first krill room, it's a big downhill sort of thing there, i wonder if that's where the water would start? i'd have to look and try to like...measure where the hill starts and see if it lines up well enough that it'd match or something....if any of that makes sense

another reason it wouldn't make sense is the stairs in graveyard that lead to battlefield...im having a whole think on this xD

It all started from an old interpretation on the Eden door and the Elders emblems on it (maybe as a seals) but at the time I didnt notice I switched the Valley and Vault ones (cause I thought it was more symmetrical like this in my early doodle, and that's why I kept it so in this last draft)

Even if Daleth Isle Elder is not in the door with an emblem, I think they are sortof rrpresented with the vertical line connecting the ground to the center

Joke aside, they might be somehow the same soul, split in half, as their tombstone implies (1 diamond hole for 1 soul). They even have one arm each, the other is prosthetics (as you can see when you OOB to them or from the draft I sketched up here) even tombstone has one arm on the side (try to imagine tombstones as kneeled elder with sidepillars as arms)

The Valley Elder(s) old placeholder name (which never was canon) was Sahmekh, but with little we know, it could be that they both had the same name (but here and there in lore someome even made the distiction between Sah and Mekh )

Gerald's spirit went inside us after giving the dive ability, and in the 5th quest we find Gerald's body, burn it up, free them, give their spirit back, and in return they magically activate king krill's gag reflex and boom

The upgrade manta does seem to be a spirit, just from visual clues. It getting absorbed into our body until we free it makes the most sense, but raises a lot of implications. How did we do that? Could we absorb ANY spirit if we wanted? Could I reasonably go up to idk any ancestor spirit and just.. zooooop they’re a part of me now? If it’s something the upgrade manta did and we didn’t influence at all, how did THEY do it

If they needed food and they were on a trip with other skykids, they would eventually realize we're made of light + fire, so they trip one of the skids and inspect them for warm spots.

I wonder if there’s little things like this that we pick up from spirits, but the game doesn’t show us doing it. Such as learning how to make candles like you said, learning how to meditate, stuff like that.

It could either be because the spirits taught them directly (cuter idea) or just that the spirits leave those impressions on their soul when relived, like hidden emotes.

Like, the abyss spirits survived on their own in a wasteland, they are going to take any opportunity for food and cooking if that they can, so it makes sense that it would be the first thing that they think about - even if it leads to really funny situations.

Alternative. Skid is placed on a hook and thrown into the part of the ocean where there's only giant fish. Fish swallows moth and the skid cooks it from the inside out. By the time the crew reels it in the fish will have already finished cooking, and the Bait moth will be fine and gets mochi as a reward. Rinse and repeat. Literally.

I believe the accepted answer is that we’re made by the Megabird (basically the god of the Sky world) who creates us and then sends us down to help get rid of the darkness. Open to speculation, but it seems that that is what’s usually assumed.

Hi, so I was doing my dailes (partly cause I’m broke) and something I realized. When you summon the jellyfish in the forest, the rain in that area just stops. Do the jellyfish absorb the rain or something

It is a good question. I doubt jellyfish would have weather controlling powers.
Game play wise, it makes sense for the player to make progress and the game rewards them with taking away the mechanic that used to harm them (ergo, the rain used to wear down skykids, but since they restored the bells, the rain stop to let them process un hindered).

Lorewise, it is the only event where the rain stops because the skykids made the bells chime, and jellyfish rise from the waters to help bridge the gap.

Skykids ascending to Orbit may be glowing and able to chime. However the skykid is not required to do so when the whale appears to clear the way.

The spirits seem to be clutching their chest, maybe a game that allows more memory on graphics would give us more varied poses, but I think it's pretty interesting that they look like they were sheltering (waning) inner light or clutching their chest as if in pain or very cold.

I prefer to think it was gradual and ancestors weren't all wiped out at the same time, with the post-apocalypse headcanon we have. Maybe the ones closer to Eden had an instadeath while those farther away got to be the last agonizing gasps of this civilisation. Must have felt lonely...

I know it's just to keep the memory down, but you can see the end of the ground model (and collision) in some areas if you push into the clouds long enough. You can actually fall down INTO THE WATER LEVEL. It's most notable in Isle of Dawn and Starlight Valley. I like to headcanon it as real, like the universe couldn't finish making the world in time so it stuck clouds and the strong winds and hoped nobody was stupid enough to try to get in.

Obviously that FAILED, but-

they come back the next day to see that not only have the butterflies all been released, but now there are birds everywhere too because isle elder got in on the prank

I am imagining that this would happen post apocalypse and initially started as an effort to cheer vault elder up, but then it snowballed too far and got out of control. Now the butterflies are everywhere
