Suddenly the krill begins to launch towards the moff, only for a big hammer to smash down on the wasteland elders head knocking him unconsious and silently puttiing duct tape on the valley twins mouths as the mysterious figure destroys the krill in one go and leads the moffs away. The elders have been taken away and wasteland elder is now in hospital with a concussion. The end. oh and the valley twins were forgotten.🤌 Now peace out to my broken hands.

Ok so Season of Prophecy: because there is no “the darkness is coming” part in the prophecy, I think it was made while they already knew about the darkness coming and the prophecy was a last ditch effort. The prophecy they got was “someone will come down, master the element trials, ascend us all, and spread light to the land.” So they started testing and training each new spirit that came to see if they are the chosen one.

Also fun fact: the spirit guide is in the Fire Prophet’s memory as a student. (Also a lot younger)

I have a theory that may not make any sense...perhaps skykids were a backup plan made in secret by the isle elder because he knew that what the king was doing was wrong and would result failure. Salem said that it wouldnt be possible because the isle elder couldnt possibly by himself have that much power. Then i thought about it and realised that in lore it was possible that they were made quite quickly...hands are mittens, only power is spells, flying and nonsensical honking and are built quite small considering other creatures in sky....the stone art is isle is made by the isle elder himself to educate the new skykids. Oh and if this is all nonsesical i still have a question....who made the stone art actually because it seems to have been made after the apocalypse.

Confident Sightseer has a child in theirs, and young skater + the scouts from assembly exist. Then there is the child from the switch trailer. Weather they can reproduce as spirits is up in the air. I have a theory that they're all actually still around, but other people think they're deader than dead and only temporarily descend sometimes to help us.

Sure, Sky ancestors are not exactly like humans, though they are based on human living and civilisation.

For what little worth the concept art still holds, a skykid stands a better chance at being a descendant (similar but different) than being an actual ancestor that got the ability to fly and sort of immortal (due to being reborn). That or a hybrid that includes the ancestors and something else (either Light itself, the elders or the King).

If the Ancestors'/Spirits' capes acted as wingsuits, we'd see more "drop-off towers" scattered around the kingdom. They're towers whose sole purpose is to serve as a high ground for the Ancestors to jump off and fly with their capes, kinda like a diving board. Though, I think the most logical explanation for the capes, at least for me, is that they were worn because they used to be the trend and or they were very functional. Humans wore capes for a long time and had only been replaced by jackets recently. They protected people from rain, served as wind breakers, provided warmth and they looked really cool. Perhaps the question is why Sky Kids were made to use capes for flight and not for other practicalities like what I mentioned with humans earlier

If we replace the Sky Kids' capes with wings, they will still be functionally the same. Perhaps Megabird had a good sense of fashion so he made sure "default" Sky Kids wore capes as a callback to the kingdom's past fashion before everything died

My Working Theory on the Composition of a Skykid
–clothing, hair, masks & other cosmetics made of light.
–a humanoid physical shell made of some magic-induced earthen material (i.e. clay, stone, ash, charcoal, meteorite) that has a hole in the chest and eyes.
–this hollow shell is full of light, such as winged light and neutral light.
–their cape, a manifestation of winged light.
–their flame, manifesting as the light in the hole in their chest and held outside their bodies via a red candle.
–their soul, appearing as a blue sparkle.

you're free to interpret thing as however you'd like since we don't have any clear info on how skykids function.

though I think the opposite – flames are rather weak. winged light makes their flames more resilient and, when their flames are extinguished, they can thrive off their flames. skykids need light to function. their flames serve as a constant power source. winged light serves the primary purpose of flight but the secondary purpose of extra power. underwater, winged light protects their flame from going out for whatever reason (which goes into oceans are realms of darkness that I don't have time to explain in length).

"wax" is the community term for what's called "pieces of light" in game. I don't think skykids use this neutral light for power but rather to make their cosmetics. skykids have some degree of light manipulation. they may feed off their neutral light too. that remains unclear. they definitely use it to rechagre.

In this case in particular, I’d like to think that the climates began to fluctuate/find and even ground. It’s pretty hot and cold in journey, from literal dry desert to endless blizzards.

Perhaps snow began to melt and create large bodies of water throughout the realms, thus also jumpstarting the greenery. This would then be ruined by whatever may be in the GW pipes as well as failing to tend to the lands and keep them in order (isle of dawn)

Especially if rain could be something before a storm starts.

The Forest used to be referred as a lumberyard, or a quarry. while The Wasteland was a similar case, but a ruined front of the city. At least, that is what I gathered based on the old lore concept art.

Shipwreck in Wasteland was a fan name, interestingly enough, based on the boat in the area. The actual name was later on revealed (I don't recall where) to be Crab field, because of the crabby bois.

Earlier to day, I wondered if the boats might be inspired/influenced by Scandinavian boats (Vikings) and interestingly there is this one tid-bit.

Based on what I read, Viking boats have usually 2 main types. For mercantile and war, though there is overlapping when it comes battle.
The war boats would be smaller and narrow for speed. And they would rely either on sails to move across the water, or rowing oars.
Boats were vital as they means that Vikings could fish from the deep ocean, bring lifestock to other lands, carry cargo and move groups of people around across the waters.

As for the current lore, I am not certain.

If the vases carried water and were left in the temples, the yes.
If anything, the Wasteland temple seemed to be once the best candidate for the water theme, so for Wasteland, it might have been important enough to have water come in. I dont think the dark water in there is an accident, or a sign of ruin, but instead a remnant of the place once had water as the lower level for travellers to safely dock inside and enter the Vaul.

This was an early concept by Jose Luis Vaello Bertol, and this one was for the Elder of Dawn based on the design.
What I would like to point out is how the water in the scene (while not easily visible, it is noted) implies holy ground.

Still water represent holiness as it call back to the biblical creation of God moving over water, how water is pure, and Jesus walking on water.

While the current game does not use this scene. I believe the reference still lingers in the current game as the ground in Orbit is water.

A lot of players were upset about losing Aviary and getting Home.

I am sad to learn about Dawn used to me much more, interesting, detailed, exciting even!
And now all the we got is a blank realm with no daily quests. Sure, newborn moths and bitter vets can have some peace and quiet there, but the realm feels left out in more ways than what feels like the realm deserved.

I feel like the current size of home is just fine for it’s intended purpose, but maybe that’s just me.

Places like Sanctuary islands had nice open spaces to zoom around in. But players will have to land at some point, so the problem naturally lies in finding a balance between exploration, flying and content (what is there to explore).

The Sky kids are just small because they’re, you know, kids. The Spirits are…I’m assuming the size of a normal human, and share the same traits in terms of height. They had different sizes. Some were super tall, some were much smaller.

but like even some of the spirits that are apparently younger are still taller. like the sightseers kid looks like a toddler and im shorter then them most of the time

Sky kids do have sizes we know. their size in relation to the objects in the office are canon. I think a medium sky kid is 3'2

I love the market concept art sketches, I assume that they are the markets in isle that we see in the switch trailer, also, I think we get a glimpse of gw before corruption as well since the building teased looks similar to the fortress in battlefield

I was thinking that the recent video ( the one that lorechats ultimate banquet ) showed the markets with the cloth that looks quite similar to enchantments cosmetic colours, perhaps this shows that the enchantment group were traders/merchants?
