My feeling is the Abyss area used creatures to make diamonds, by some process the murals are showing us.

They made tons, and the Abyss crew are here much later scavenging the small ones which were too small or fell out of the boats in the old days.

I think they made the diamond on the forest maybe, the Abyss engravings look like the time where was the people had a good relationship with creatures or at least having a rule /basics of how to deal with it, specially this engraving which show the creatures from the weaker to the stronger and the more dangerous

The area looks old and like the season’s crew discovered it this way. The murals were made long before the crew arrived. The image above shows diamonds collected on the right side. Creatures are entering on the left, something happens in the middle, diamonds come out on the right.

They are blueish and with some red sprinkles, but harmless and we don't have to burn like nasty plants

They do have a round sphere (the pearl) which remind me of the bulb (in non-spiky form) but I think they are neutral OR at very least Neutral Evil.

IRL clams are even able to survive on a certain degree of polluted waters, being also able to filter the impurities and clean the waters to a certain extent

We don't go up to Orbit until after we pass the top of the castle. The castle in the ending is the floating part and it's a bit higher than where we die, which is the grounded part here. So the castle is not considered to be Orbit yet.

I don't think this image of Eden from far away can show us the three discrete parts (death area, ending castle, and floating bit) but it shows us 2/3.

i noticed something that i never did before.
the gates to the GW's fortress can be opened from the outside, all you have to do is activate a crystal with light to enter.

this would be a major weakness in the design, UNLESS it isn't.
it's probably outside because whatever the GW warriors were defending against could not use light or crystals.

Agreed, being a fan of the flying creatures attack angle.
Though one can also consider if the battle was with enemies that are on the ground. Hence the weapons being laid on the ground and stuck in shields.

how the elder uses both the 🔷 / square shape and the sun symbol 🔅
i only found 1 shield with the diamond shape (granted i didn't explore shipyard)

implying it was either early in development
or it was changed and they forgot to update the 🔷 shield, which is 70% buried in sand

either way, the elder does make it seem the two symbols are one
besides, the symbol approach, while in my opinion is great, it also contains one major flaw:

consider how in the Season of Enchantment, the mystics there adopt the forgotten ark's symbol, it is on the hull of the ship. a ship with association with the vault scholars AND the light seekers. The symbol is neither a diamond, nor a sun, it's a

further adding a third symbol to the group. Given the shape, we can just assume it means "navy". (I have to check if the ships in the shipyard also has this symbol)

also, after re-exploring GW, I realized how the flying creatures is the one that makes the most sense. i'm astonished by how i didn't make the connection earlier.

Either the GW were whalers (hunting whales), or TGC is trying to imply something by having so many whale bones in a "battlefield". Going by the name of the Ancestos: Warrior / Soldier. We know they are not Whalers.

bear in mind, the wasteland elder has a different shield in his constellation.
In the constellation, it is a heater shield (a kite with rounded sides on the bottom 🛡️ ), though in person (or currently), he has a rounded shield.
So, that said, he either traded sides, or the constellation for some reason has the opposing side's sheild.

and we see it was the scholars that created them. alongside the creation of lesser spells (fireworks, height magic, etc).
we see these elemental lights being used to restore the land in the case of the mystics , but we also see that inside the vault, like how we see a scholar growing trees.

i was under the impression the scholar either wanted to heal the land (for themselves / and use ships to live elsewhere), or for everyone. but it seems they were set in healing the land.

There's is a spear with a rhombus symbol and a shield with sun symbol. If it even implied Tsadi Elder is of the sun faction (and the spear isn't anything) then why the murals / constellation shows a small shield?

On the mural/constellation there is also people on one side and skeletons/death on the other...

Plus I don't see any artigliery/assault weapons like catapult on the battle field (did they put they smash that building with just swords/spears, Age Of Empire style? )

IF they're even was the 2 fanctions, then I'd wish the two joined forces to retreat together inside for avoid the Krills incursion with Ts-- Elder defending both and guarding the entrance

i really like how in this concept of the story, the creatures were sort of like the spirit beings in Avatar TLA and TLo Korra, ancient beings from another plane that live in harmony but are disturbed by the culling of the balance of nature via technology

HOWEVER, creatures have been given a more stagnant and set anatomy past launch

while it'd be so damn cool to see mantas become shrieking demon monsters that fly at you and rip out your eyes if you dare to activate a power diamond, darkness has been given a more set definition than it did before, and is moreso a corruption, corrupting the creatures and ancestors in a pollution way and less of a magic way

whenever we sit at the white circles, we are meditating, and are then given visions.
these visions range from small hallucinations in the real world, such as the confetti at the races, to entering a dreamlike stance where our conscious goes to a "pocket dimension" of sorts, such as when we meet the elders

vault, the infamous library and elevator up to Eden, seems to be a mixture of both however.
the crystal above us doesn't seem to just power the elevator, but also affect our minds as we meditate under it..
after the first floor, it's completely unclear which floors are real or not

By observing the winter dusk where I live, I have noted some interesting observations. The dusk starts out as an orange-purple-blue, where the purple is pale and resembles that of the Isle of Dawn. Later, when the sky is darker, the sky becomes an orange-green-blue gradient.

That means that the murky green signifies a greater presence of darkness.

A random idea popped in my mind while (finally) riding the Cosmic Manta in Starligh Desert

Maybe Purple is not tied to Knowledge just yet (because we spot that Ench Light in Archive)

Maybe it's tied to Imagination/Memory 🪄

For example we know the tends, workshops, pots and cauldrons arent there in Ark per se (iirc they appeared with Purple) because time and sands destoyed/scattered them all, they had to be recreated my the mind of who was there, with them re-imaging them from memory (much like I think we need to telepathically bond with TS to know how their instruments and cosmetics were and worked when they were alive)(picture a spotless in of skykid not knowing how to hold correctly a transverse flute)

The Archive IS full imagination, in the form of memory cubes which hold the knowledge recorded in them (maybe imprinted by the skillfuk scholars who levitates ans use telekinesis without even moving anymore) . And about telekinesis, we can see purple in the levitate emote too, because with the strong will of the mind they imagined to move object (but not without lot of practive OR with a certain magic spell!)

the way the bot posts messages is "pretending" to be the person posting.

the same concept, except it would change some words in a word list into something else. but i do imagine it is more of a hassle than just using current system (eventually we all learn to adapt to word filter)

The one issue is when a word does trigger the bot, the whole message gets deleted without warning.
While short messages are not an issue, it can be infuriating when a long message is deleted in such a way.
Having a chance to at least recover the message to review would be nice. Though understandably difficult to moderate that way.

it does a nice story arc, though. Born to an elite family in the 8-Player-Puzzle area, explores the islands. Settles down, makes a friend for life (teaches them how to study creatures) and moves to Forest to explore. Learns the whale call, and then moves to Valley to learn the Manta call. Sometime during the whale call study, they either make another friend.

Goes to GW to learn the krill call, but gets abducted into the war effort. Something happened to them (maybe the krill call is inherently damaging to creatures of light) and thus the memory is shattered and there is no krill call spirit. They manage to make their way into Vault, where they learn the spirit manta call. IDK how they get the cape, but maybe they have to be reconstructed with light hence the cape

One thing that comes to mind is when we meet a blank character, it either means they are a background character, or someone the skykid have not been acquainted with yet (such as with the skykids). What if they spirits are not actually bald, but they are not yet known to the skykids?

The season just began so we can't really tell until the quests reveal the climax of the story, but so far we know the area was a mine, and may have hosted experiments on/extraction of light from mantas. Also, something lurks in the depths...
There's two times explored here, the one where that place was in use as a facility, and the one where said facility is ruined and found by the spirits of this season. It may be possible their curiosity spelled their doom...

we see that ancestors used spells too, but their spells were specifically stronger in a way, and my anecdotal research has found the difference between their spells and our spells have to do with anatomy

--ancestors are more grounded, physical beings with much less light than us
--skykids are much more spiritually powerful beings with a direct connection to the light

because of their lack our light, the spells they crafted seem to always have control over the environment around them, such as the spell in the cinematic trailer that scares away dark critters, and the elemental spells used in enchantment; external powers

Skykids are directly connected to the light, so the Light's influence on them affects their body rather than the area around them like with ancestors, and we see that with glow spells, recharge potions, gravity potions, ect.
In general all of our spells are power ups, rather than conjurings

Everywhere you go, there's these sprawling cites and landscapes, but there's nothing there to fill it. No spirits roaming around, few skykids here and there, and a lot of destruction/degradation. And on the other hand, it feels small, because you can go through all the realms in two hours, which is a lot, but compared to a game like journey, is quite small

I know it's not fair to compare a console/PC game to a mobile game, but the two games are both made by tgc and both share the same basic structure.

On the other hand this is a mobile game so its not going to have as many super big areas.

it's implied that there is more to the world that is currently covered by clouds. my idea is that as the Eden storm recedes, more of the world will be unveiled to us. also, as others have pointed out, Sky is a post-apocalyptic world. the entirety of the Sky kingdom is dead, the Elders are trapped in their pocket dimensions, and the only other inhabitants of the land besides us skykids are the creatures who survived the devastation.

you also have to contend with mobile game limitations. Ash and some over devs have said that there more spirits in-universe than just the few base-game and seasonal spirits we see. also, server lobbies are limited to 8 players, which isn't a lot and can make the world feel even more empty. I imagine that in-universe that are plenty more skykids present frolicking the fields of Prairie, racing down Valley, camping out in Forest, helping moths in Isle, exploring the Wasteland, and studying in the Vault.

A ton of games have the structure of "explore long dead world" "bring back light" (or defeat the light itself) heck, one could even argue minecraft falls under this category. the sand temple thing, ocean monument, ships, even the free the end achievment, plus mojang is trying to make an unstoppobably force type enemy (journey has guardians) (sky has krill) (minecraft gets the warden). its just, a very common theme. sky and journey (and others) just really play into the theme element tho.

how corrupting skykids work in my ficverse is that if corrupted darkstone enters or embeds a skykid's shell and they can't get it out, it feeds constantly on their light and slowly warps their mind. eventually they start craving for light like a hunger, mostly to stave off the darkstone from feeding off their flame. they appear delit, their eyes empty dark sockets, have no clothes or hair or cape to fly since it's all made of light, which is going to the corrupted darkstone. if they live long enough, they gain the power to manipulate stone.

as such, corruption mostly occurs during Eden attempts. if they die in Eden, they can be rid of their corrupted body, ascend, and gain a new body. however they're often too weak to ascend Eden alone and most skykids avoid them due to the corrupted darkstone in them sucking out light. so they fall down the mountain or hide. a lot of them keep each other company at the base of the mountain. some are in Wasteland too, thriving in the dark pollution.

but they do hunger for light now. so corrupted skids often stalk other skykids, usually moths cos they're weaker and less experienced, capture them, and suck out their light. because of their warped minds, some are more depraved about it ||like the Carver who holds moths hostage in their cave and as the name suggests... yea||. while many skykids toss around stories about corrupted skykids as an urban legend meant to scare moths, older ones who lost friends to corruption are more careful around the subject.

so ig they're not inherently against the mission but they do anyways cos of their actions. they're basically like small, intelligent krills

Interesting, in my universe, if you're an awful person(like you constantly kill for bad reasons and stuff) you lose your winged light but the only visual difference is that you're eyes and mouth disappear as they are made of light and you lose your wedges, all your clothes are cloth even the cape. This means you can't fly, well you're not supposed to be able to. One character gained the ability to corrupt winged light making it usable to them, they don't know how they did it though.

Have you ever played Death Stranding? It's entire premise is you being a porter(delivery man) delivering supplies and essentials in a post apocalyptic world. There's actually quite a bit of similarities between it and sky, but that's not my point.

The entire gameplay revolves around you walking to your destination, which basically boils down to hours of silent walking/other means of transport, but I've found I prefer walking for nonessential deliveries, just due to the fact that you cab relax, enjoy the scenery, and even listen to the amazing soundtrack the game has to offer.
It's a post apocalyptic game in every sense of the trend, but sets itself apart by reconnecting the fragmented pieces of society, binding them with knots.

Not to spoil too much, but there's a 'realm' called the beach, kind of like a transition zone, where everything is dead and it's the space between life and death, hence why it's called the beach. I've found similarities between the beach to eden, where you hug the prince/light figure.

Do checkout the soundtrack though! The songs are honestly half the experience! My personal favorites are 'Don't Be So Serious', 'Trigger', 'Ghost', and 'Sing To Me'.

TL;DR I think Tsadi switched sides in a civil war

So battlefield right, I head cannon that a civil war took place (sun sheild and diamond sheild, I assume diamond sheild is Resh’s army) anyways they be fighting sun sheild but then Tsadi has sun sheild, but no symbol on their shield in vault cutscene

So did Tsadi switch sides? Cuz there’s a ton of spears at the entrance to their temple like they were legit fighting off an army or something, and Tsadi is the only statue that has physical props beside it (spear and shield instead of just candles)

Plus in prophecy murals we see Tsadi ready to fight somthing with a lot of king statues lined up

Anyways that’s all I got but the reason I mention this was because my previous theory on the civil war crumbled because Tsadi had a sun shield soooo

Concider the very very VERY tiny possibly that a civil war happened between twins and tsadi
