Well. First things first: It was huge. I mean lots of things where sscarped out because less strong devices would not support the graphics (and the memory). But I WANT BACK THE AVIARY

The Corrupted King is no longer in the game itself.
There are still some lore bits of it in the game but mostly scraped when the devs started changing the game through the updates.
That is at least from what I understand .

The old concept art always gives us a star shaped mask.

Something I gathered on other sources, like twitter posts and other theories, is that the prince (Alef) was theorised to be the first skykid.

As in, we dont get to help a elder in Eden, but we get to meet the first skykid trapped in the gaint red diamond or wherever that state of limbo would be.

I think he could be. One theory is that when you die in eden the white sky kid you meet is him, that area could be inside the red star

In all the other realms, we save an elder, and they do something to help us/the ancestors (ex. Prairie elder lets the butterflies out so we can use them to fly up). I think prince could be the elder, and once we save the other statues, we give him a hug and he makes that white beam to help us fly up to orbit

A lot of the lore has changed over time.
I think the devs are working on a way to showcase the lore, but they did remove the corrupted king himself.

There was a war in wasteland and the storm took over the realms.
There is a theory about each elder lost a part of themselves they valued most.
I cannot recall where and who but part of the theory pointed out each elder's probelm and how fhe skykid helped get it back like the dawn elder regaining his sight, praire gettinf his energy back, forest's ability to work with stone, valley's competitivity, wasteland's strentgh and vault's access to the history.

The storm came when darkness took the eden elder.

theory: Eye of Eden was a kingdom but it was just for the reunions of the elders, the elder from there was the cause of the storm because he/she/they (idk) wanted power and people that follow him/her/their. that's why the giant castle is almost in space and the storm is down the castle, to not let the elders go there

i noticed that the bearhug hermit (dreams) and the saluting protector (gratitude) along with having the cape of the protector look like the hermit, the items from these two spirits that you can wear don't interfere with each other. You can wear all cosmetics from the protector and the hermit at the same time. I wonder what it looks like...

I was flying around isle when i noticed these five stone pillars near the liftoff site. Any ideas as to what they are? Maybe they represent something, maybe their ruins, or perhaps just a part of the natural terrain?

About the constellations...

I wonder what the the jnmarked stars are.
I am referring to the ones in the game (Dawn - 4, Praire - 1, Forest - 2, Valley - 2, Wasteland - 4 and Vault - 4)

I know one of each constellation is the elder star, but what about the rest?

Well constellations are made up of spirits which means spirts are also stars i think us being stars is also possible i mean we can also form a bigger constellation

Whales, huge creatures with skulls similar to GW elder mask : GW-Valley transition, Forest Caverns, Forest Boneyard (Skeleton), Eden ascension map

Whurtles, possess the skull of a turtle and a body of a whale : only exist as skeletons in Wasteland Graveyard, no actual photographs, long extinct

Elder Manta, huge whale-like body with orange details, longer fins and a manta tail : Currently can only be seen in Prairie Sanctuary Islands

Is there a possibility that the skeletons we see in wasteland aren’t whale/turtle hybrids but instead whales with helmets on, and what we think is their skull is actually a helmet? I think this would make sense because wasteland is a battlefield, where whales could have been used to fight krill, and because the shape of the head is similar to the helmets the wasteland elder and one of the spirits wears

Also in the pictures the whale/whurtle’s head is a different color than the rest of it, suggesting that it might be a helmet/armor rather than part of its body, just a theory

As I've said, we don't have actual photos of whurtles so it's hard to know though it has been confirmed (even if not explicitly) that the skulls were indeed the things in Graveyard. Whales though, on the other hand, it is a fun theory to think about but perhaps the whale skeleton in the Forest Boneyard suggests otherwise

• traveller and offseason QG are not related but know each other well
• rainbow QG is rally, whom simply likes rainbows (I like the idea of it being rally coming out but the implications of it for the sky universe are...complicated) and might know of the symbolism it has for us skykids that’s not a thing in the kingdom, knows they’re gay and wears it for the sake of supporting the cause of it or something
• dreams QG is sparkler’s twin - boogie and headpat are sparkler and plead’s children, confetti is sparkler’s somewhat-adopted [insert ambiguous term for nephew/niece] from dreams QG, skater is confetti’s sibling

Perhaps, though it is possible.
The murals did show people may not have survived the trails.
Naturally, the devs did not want skykids dying in these trails, though it may suggest that as the trails got harder, they may have been more deadly to the ancestors.

People have speculated that Prophecy will be the last season before, (That isn’t true of course) because of concept art or something, but as I was walking in circles around the table, I had a thought…
Was if it was the end in a different way? I mean, think about it: The prophecy pendant is the same symbol as the destination symbol whenever your sky child honks/calls/chirps, and look at past seasons:
Sanctuary was, for all we know, the home of the light creatures! (Underrated season btw, would play it again)
Enchantment was restoring a forgotten ark with magic!
And prophecy, well, I don’t know. But it’s important.
Now look at the present:
Dreams was about a girl performing in the colosseum, and Assembly is about restoring a treehouse with other kids! (Of course, next season is the little prince but we know nothing about that yet so bear with me…) Not too… important or magic-y. And for all we know the village of Dreams could be an illusion. (Not saying they’re bad seasons, they’re amazing!)
So I thought, WHAT IF, just WHAT IF, the sky child had completed a different quest all the way back in Prophecy by completing the trials? And instead of ascending to heaven or something, the sky child chose to stay in the lost kingdom?

Just thinking but there is not a lot of evidence that could support it other than they have very dark skin, can survive great falls and can handle a flame with their bare hands.

But it would not tie in to their organic body shape and movements because balck stone is meant to be geometric and cold.

Here is a different mystery.
How would the spirits of the ancestors have came back?
As in, would any living ancestor have came across a spirit and be able to interact with them the same way as skykids do?

I noticed at the end of each memory, you find a stone body with blue light in the cracks.
This is similar to when a skykid dies in Eden, your body becomes a stone husk with yellow and blue light peeking out. Also we have statues to give winged light to that have the same type of statue as a skykid's. or vice versa.

Now the lore for the skykid statues aside, they turned to stone possibly because of the darkness.
The darkness coming from the eden and that is spreading to all the realms.

I am not sure if anyone watched the film, Raya.
Because in the film, there were these dark spirits that would turn any living thing into stone and steal its soul. It would split into more copies of itself when it has taken souls too.
I am thinking that, even if this was likely a coincidence, what happened to these creatures in the film are the same as what happened in sky.
Or at least were inspired by the same things.

There is/was hebrew influence (when the old elder names were removed, this link became much weaker).
There is a bit of Buddhism, but I am still researching that before saying that is relevant.
And even possibly (but a stretch) a Mexican theme with the dead.

My theory about the krill is that they are corrupted sky whales, like the one you see in Forest's hidden area, or in the transition path between Valley and Wasteland. They move in the same kind of sharp angle when they go down.

I think the King is obsessed with his own image and legacy, and is afraid of death. He is the most interesting Elder to me though.

•Forest is the stern workaholic who only cares about the skykids if no one is looking.

•Wasteland has no idea how to deal with children, hes afraid he might break them if he touches them but he wants to try helping in anyway anyhow.
•Vault is the grandmumy who doubled the icecream allowence.
•King is missing. But some odd feeling about skykids is familiar.

the King is basically like someone who was given power and wisdom but got too obsessed with it and loses his mind

to the point where he basically wants more and more power, more than even Megabird could have herself. So he built a large diamons made entirely of Darkstone. Little did he know it would consume the light of everyone nearby

its kind of like a Frankenstien thing, the diamond and the King

I thought the King was someone who was obsessed with Legacy. I headcanon him of having no power, so he was extremely jealous of the other elders, and when his life came to an end, he wanted to have a greater legacy than the other elders and become something that everyone will know- the Storm.

If you think about it, the King succeeded.

to me, based on the murals of the Prophecy, the golden child is supposed to be the King. he passes all 4 trials of the elements and gains their wisdom, with it he shares to all of the realms, Earth to Prairie, Water to Forest, Air to Valley and Fire to Wasteland which to me makes sense with all of the warriors, weapons, and war going on there

lore-wise the King is one of the elders, the kind of chosen one elder. the one who commands all but goes ballistic in the end, i have a theory where the Isle elder fought the King himself to stop him because he didnt listen to the Megabird's warning and left with his mask broken and retreating to the Isle. leaving the King and the rest
