I always kind of assumed they were reminiscent of maps, like how in the Mantabell Village (three bell islands at the Prairie Temple), the manta imagery that looks a lot like those kinds of drawings mapped the village. I don't know though, it doesn't really fit the caves. Maybe it's constellations that would be visible in the night?

this is a far-fetched theory but it sides with some previous ones... So I think the hair that we start out with is the prince's hair because so far, we get all our hairs from spirits, but who do we get hair from when we start off? We don't make contact with anyone, but there is a force that wills us to eden, which in the eye is presumably the king. So to have something will us there, we must be connected in some sort of way. Since we are "connected", we could take some physical appearance from the king/prince, which I will say it the hair. (Literally made this theory because I saw people let the prince have moth hair and I wanted to do it too, but needed a good reason.)

i wonder what the seasons has to do with the lore in sky.. Each season includes spirits showing us their memories, however after the season they disappear and only the questmaster or area stays afterwards (like enchantment). Tho not every season leaves something behind.

The more they unveil seasons, the more complex and “fascinating” the world of Sky becomes. From Gratitude to Assembly, there is an obvious gap of dedication, amount of work and ideas that we can see. Maybe dedication is not the word but you understood.

Well, because idk hahaha.
I guess that since enchantment the seasonal “designing process” has become clearer and refined. That’s why we have guides that stay and new areas. I don’t think everything has a lore explanation. This is more that TGC evolved since the beginning. The guide of belonging (grandma) could have stayed in the sunny forest though. Maybe it will come back...
I look at the last seasons as side stories or “slice of life”. Besides Prophecy, there is no direct connection to the events of the main plot to me.

I love how lore chat put two and two of Elders not growing and the figure in the King face to mean King was self conscious due to being created as a permanent child while trying to rule a kingdom. Stuff like that I eat to smithereens.

In the Shared Space, if I were to recall, I think you make your Shared Space "in your mindscape", which leads me to belive skids have this mindscape

Hi everyone.
The new introduction is live in the Isle of Dawn. What do you think of it?
In the former intro, we were called by a superior being I think (cf the sentence “if only they had listened”).
I like that new way to introduce the story but don’t you think all the drama is gone? I’m a little sad about that. It was more detailed before.
It all about the spirits now. Just like if they have all their “lives” been spirits. They are just extinguished because the stars fell.

Elders now to me seem like local deities, who guarded afterlife and had temples.
Sorta like gods of death or something.
And now are in slumber and we reawaken them and reconnect the realms.
The spirits of this realm are the narrators or not? The narrator is tad confusing. Since they refer to elders as "our elders" but when talking about other spirits they talk as if they aren't their own which makes me believe the isle spirits are separate

We are just helping him remember how their secret hideout once was. And in making so, we are reconnecting him with the other Assembly spirits, even if they feel tied to another spot

Ok so I need to get my Journey-Sky theory off my chest. So I’ve heard a few people’s theories that Journey occurred before Sky and those are very good theories.. but what if Sky occurred before Journey? So to start off we’ll talk about the realms. All or the realms are super similar except for Forest, there is seemingly no Forest there. Buuuut if you take a look at the realm before the one that resembles Valley, you have to release carpet-mantas so my personal theory is that that is Forest. Now as far as the creatures and rain being either carpet, stone or nonexistent, it seems there was an attempt to stop the darkness, and it worked.. kinda. In destroying/containing the dark creatures they also destroyed/contained the light ones. Which explains why, if they successfully stopped the darkness, that the rain stopped and forest dried up, going off the theory rain is dark energy in Forest. Now as for why the animals gained control of themselves back, there had to be a mass extinction or war or something similar. My theory is that the people from Journey where able, at some point to control the creatures. Also the Journey characters seemed to be adult skykids.. which explains why Sky spirits are so tall.

Tldr: Journey comes after sky, darkness contained, control of creatures, mass extinction, land kinda healed

I had always theorized that these devices were used to extract light out of light creatures to generate power. Started in Forest and then followed by the growth of the civilizations in Valley as a result; however things went terribly wrong in wasteland.

yes, Im pretty sure they are more of an adaptor. In forest before meeting the elder, we see that the thing on the ceiling has a large empty spot. After meditating and meeting the elder, the hole is filled by the adaptor and a diamond is in the hole in the adaptor. That is my evidence

I think some of the clouds are "unnatural" (brought by the storm, the darkness, etc.), covering most of the kingdom and act as fog preventing us from venturing

And as more areas get uncovered through seasonal maps, it may mean that those unnatural clouds are slowly dissipating

In the old opening sequence, we could actually see the kingdoms get engulfed by clouds

All the islands in the old map have different heights, and some of them are under the clouds. The temple is from the bright highest point above the clouds. The contrast was so great.

-Many likes to think of those as factories, but I think they are nothing but temples (pretty sure even the daily mission, when you need to go at a piece of buildin before entering that area was a piece of thr broken temple ahead) it was a scrapped concept the thing about the fabric as mantas grinder to press and mold those gold thingies (but I despite the similarities I see it's different from the concept art in TomZhao website) (it is a nice theory tho, one of the first, but I rethought that )
-I think those gold thingies could even be some kind of electro-magnetical device to enchant the energy passing through them. Infact in Forest we merely give a little flame (even skykids flame is a powerful one ) and all those thingies embedde in the gold spinning "globe" seems to be able to incrementing said power and even producing light with it

There’s that one TGC video of them revising the areas to make them less confusing and I don’t always think the end result is best! The butterfly fields also suffer from the same simplification. But we have other areas where that are nice and complex like Forest. So I can appreciate their reasons.

The forest door is like a mural and gives me the distinct impression that the ancestors would transport butterfly jars and forest light, and process these resources inside the temple (with the press) to make power diamonds.

Vault Elder's memory of that (after all dimensions get loosen up the more deep we get lifted, giant spaces without walls and the memory altar being smaller by comparing the original altar in that OOB)

I wanna talk about the Prince. But more specifically, the concept Prince based off of the old timeline

There's this theory that each realm represents a stage in the Prince's life, at least with the current Sky

But remembering the old timeline, I realised this is the case with the concept Prince as well

Every stage in the Prince's life is always set in the realm that represents that certain stage

Like, when the Prince enters the forest

The Forests are described to be "forbidden" yet the Prince decides "Oh, I'm gonna have a walk through here today! Gonna bring an Elder too!"

This may be a reflection of the rebellious nature of teenagers, who always decides to crazy things and more prone to do some risk-taking even if they're not meant to :D

After Forest, it also just so happens that Valley, the realm representing Adulthood, is where the Prince becomes King, thus an "adult"

We can assume Isle represents the time before the Prince got the flame or when they got the flame.

Prairie clearly represents when the connection to Megabird was at its strongest. Reminds me of a recent CN TGC vid of the upcoming collab saying about how "childhood was the closest to the answer" or something

I think the natural order was to travel to the holy land mountain in old age to ascend, but with the power diamonds they got big egos and misused that holy land to concentrate power. The natural order of letting go, accepting death, and letting light ascend to orbit was disrupted.

So there's Vault. Its a place about reflection of what happened, and its there that the revelation of what went wrong in the Kingdom was revealed

With each level of Vault, you go higher and higher to Eden, getting closer to the top

You see where I'm going with this?

Right after the destruction of Ark, the Prince reflected on what happened. Realizing what went wrong, they deliberately headed up to the peak of Eden
