Also, the murals made me realize that perhaps it wasn't the spirits when they were alive that when the fall happened.

Based from the murals, it seems to imply the spirits (who are already ded) literally fell from their sky/constellation after something that happened

Im gonna be rambling about this. Was gonna stay quiet about this interview cause it had some spoilers, lol.
But yeah, I think this message about the answer becoming harder as becoming adults really reflect what was going to happen in the concepts

It makes me realize what the "saving the Prince from the King" was actually avout

It was about saving someone's lost innocence and childhood (the Prince) after it being lost in adulthood (King)

The King and Prince being sort of seperated in some concepts makes some sort of sense because the adult is different from their true, childlike selves

I'm so confused about things now what with the changes the intro.
Spirits were the beings that made their home in the clouds THEN darkness came and the stars (elders?) fell? So elders went to sky world after the "event"/cataclysm?
And then both elders and spirits faded away and we were sent in as recovery crew to return the spirits to the stars? So spirits, elders and skykids are essentially almost all the same?

The Isle Elder shrine thing no longer glows blue when you enter. Now there's no light, making it look like its eyes are closed. The cutscene now shows the Eden mountain and transitions to the normal cutscene

Well, I always had that theory that the old Opening mural actually told events out of order

The kindgom falling TWICE was always a bit silly.

Plus sky kingdom never really felt like....well it certainty didn’t seem like a punishment when they where all living happy normal lives.

Once again, thats why I had that theory that the Opening cutscene was actually out of order

First part of the opening where explaining that the stars fell actually described what happened to the kingdom, not before it. Second part describes what happened before that, when it prospered and what led to their downfall. The final part leads to the present and what we must do.

Because of this interpretation, the lore hasn't really changed much for me with these new murals

However, the part where the narration was all like "We saw you coming, we waited for you for a long time!" may have been a thing of the lore for a while, but not too prevalent

Since the Elder Pin Poems mention it a lot too

Mainly with the Isle Elder and Forest pin poems

But they say "We waited your return" or "We saw of your return to us"

Well, Ive got a full on headcanon timeline of the lore...

I don't agree about the old intro being out of order since an animation shows stars falling and the creation of the sky kingdom (a new home) afterwards.

In the new intro, the line about stars united seems to apply to the peak of the kingdom. And the darkness coming and stars falling seems to be when the kingdom fell and everything became in limbo like it is when we begin.

Since the events before the sky realm was made are no longer referenced, the line "if only they had listened" no longer applies, and it is gone.

It still could be interpreted as a transition to the next scene.
Idk, I saw of it that way because of the appearance of the Prince in the first part of the mural. The Prince there strongly resembles them in the final mural of Prophecy, but that only occurs AFTER the Elders are already on the Sky world and made their Kingdom. The final mural appears like a coronation thing

This could mean the first part of the Opening cutscene actually happens when the Kingdom was already built

The new intro is compatible with the old intro, there are just some repetitive lines if we combine them. But the lore hasn't necessarily changed. We just don't learn anymore about the sky kingdom forming as a result of darkness coming in a previous age. That still can be considered potentially canon, but it's not part of the intro anymore.

I do agree that both old and new intros seem to be told by Megabird. But in the new intro there's more emphasis on the "we" perspective than the "I".

I kind of think that "star fell" could be a methaphor, like the star folk Resh mentioned

If I recall the old intro, it seemed the Elders forsaw the dsrkness and decided to do something even if warned about not to do that.

So Elders descended on Earth in order to help the people against the Coming Darkness, and for a while they could even help the kingdom unite and prosper (when finally the Trials deemed the worthy choosen one, you might call him The Prince)

But then the warning became a reality, they were grounded and the longer the days passed their constellations maybe lost the power/connection without the Elder on their divine to protect against the Darkness Income

is sad to see that sky is evolving to a game where you are only popular by how much money you pay and how many seasonal pass you have, the players will only want to be friends with you when you have rare items or vertan pass, moths nowadays are ignored and theres not alot of players willing to help them now. and since this game is important to have a guide at the start, player counts are growing low.

I'm really scared Sky will become to commercial. It always feels very safe and easy-going. Usually in games you are constantly bombarded with add and IAPs and I really loved that Sky didn't have that.

When the focus is more on cosmetics it become more stressful (to me at least). Instead of just hanging around with friends we have to do loads of candleruns etc. I think they did fix that a little bit with the new candle system, but it still feels like a little bit of a problem (with the prices of the travelling spirits and all the events etc)

Have you seen that, alot of the oobs tend to connect with water. Seems like every single realm has water in it, whether it be by oobing or going to different places in said realm, isle ,prarie(cave and sanctuary), forest ,valley(ice rink), goldenwasteland, vault(oob)

Could this be a way to incorporate all of the elements into one fulfilled realm, to think about it. Even if we were to take all the realms and merge a piece of each place, there always seems to be water. Either under or in the land

If krebs were made out of light, they would look the opposite or some Krebs that are dark creatures. Especially the ones in sanctuary, as I've said before. Their white colour could have come from them being very deprived or sunlight, but they look like light creatures with black splodges on them.

So, can we really call crabs dark creatures, or are they misunderstood creatures. They dont have much in relation to the krill, which is obviously a dark creature, except for the one in Ark :SkyShrug:

Seems like, in each of the realms with dark creatures. They have a nice relative in an off island.
So, can we still call that krill a dark creature because of its colour. Or can we identify ot as a creature of light since it has an entirely different behavior. Like the krebs on an off island in sanctuary?

So, does this mean that. Even if mantas are white in colour. We havent met their opposite relatives yet. Possible krill like versions, aswell as butterflies and birds. But oh wait, is there a reason why mantas get stuck in dark plants, like them being transformed into their evil relative, but since we save them. We have never been able to see their form. Aswell as tgc not letting us see it for possible future season twists, or just to lead us on.

Seems as though, krill arent as bad as we think they are, yes they take our wl. But maybe it's because they want to be light creatures, and respected in the way mantas and other light creatures or, especially sky kids. Since we have alot of light in us, they just want to be loved.

But then, when they caught an eye on us, they tend to give us afew seconds to escape to safety, like they are pitying us and dont really want to do it anymore from what they were trained to do. But a leopard cant change its spots. Krills, unlike the one in ark, are 100% dark creatures. But do they really want to be dark creatures, feared by people. To the point where some kids dont even want to collect wax from their realm . Imagine how sad that must be for them.

Theres a theory they where supposed to just be 1 elder. But during their creation an anomaly happened to split them. Only giving 1 arm and 1 eye each.

Theres other theories which involve war and nearly killing eachother. I just favor the split twin theory.

Tbh, I didn't get the greatest experience with the Season either. I couldn't get players to help me out with some quests, I remember seeing a lot of them ignore me for CR. Im usually a solo player, so yeah. I haven't done the other quests yet because I'm worried there wont be other players to help me out.

Also don't worry, rhe worst quest in my experience was 3rd (because you need 2 others and its far from any CR path) but then the 4th (3 others) is kind of easier, cause it's near the path

I hoped at least to see some action inside the Underground Cavern (cause, I spotted all the tunnel doors already and tunnel were under ground) hoping to have a little labyrinth/quarry leading to the broken grating gate down there (after all we exit Underground Cave by a broken gate, so I couldn't rule out the possibility)

Buuut I have to say, nonetheless it was a nice break season, it kind of remind me of Sanctuary

And if we compare them (besides some species in sanc) between the two Assembly give us more in a matter of playfulness. Lots of activities, a chilling place which become cozier and cozier with lots of props

Infact I believe the diamond we see pushed in the air in Vault and Forest Temples could be an artificial vessel for the souls, since their civilization couldn't ascend by our own meanns (possibly that's why they build Eden, to get a pass direct bridge to Orbit)
That could be the reason both Elders were kind of sad for those diamonds they held, without the possibility to power them in their own pocket dimensions (in short, I don't believe in artificial diamonds or "factories" just a power source)

i think in the early designs of sky, there is a "timeline" the creator artist talked about in their sketches, so-so theories i heard sound close to those but fan theories sound more spicy

anyone noticed how all of the elders seem either tired/weak or confused? and how when we meet them they infuse themselves/an item with the flame we give them and become stronger/not confused anymore, All elders do EXCEPT for valley twins, and instead of attaching the flame to themselves or an item they shoot it back to the sky, and even in the first version of their cutscenes they infuse with it and become connected to megabird and THEN shoot it into the sky as a beacon.
My theory is that, unlike other elders, valley elders didn't become indifferent to megabird and rather accepted it? Megabird made sky kids sent flames to elders to help them but valley twins seem like they have already been helped, and when you look at how the game works overall, they probably didn't get weak or get confused because they are two halves that fuel eachothers fire, like how players do to eachother.

Yes, if you look closer the statues at the start lines of the races (which should depict the Elders if you ask me) jumps in opposite directions, but are facing each other (maybe in sign of rivalry of the match)
SIDENOTE: even if each statue doesn't have a distinctive feature of any hair (like the dreams village & stadium ones ) but that could also means that they didn't have a side (red of blue team, as in the pre-global beta) and switched just for fun and playful rivalry/sportsmanship

Basically the headcanon is that the Artifact is a depiction of pre-Storm Vault.
Vault's story based on the Artifact OOB:
Before the storm, Vault was a network of towers linked together.
The Vault was powered by an underground core of light and/or power diamond.
However, when the storm came, all the other towers got destroyed and only the tall central tower (the main Vault that skykids know) exists today
The Archives is a link to another tower that used to be standing (if you notice the 1st floor of the archives there is a bunch of floating pieces so something might've been destroyed there
