I'm here studying the entire area of Wasteland and I look to the left

If we take the pipes lined from the inside of the broken one and look at the one intact. They connect towards the outer area up to the roof. Factories always have a kind of chimney to let out excess gasses or chemicals to not overheat the machinery.

The product that would contain any type of waste that would influence the environment to such a dramatic fashion. Had to be toxic waste. Could explain the toxic mutations. The huge fish bones. Dark water. Abnormal crabs and the green clouded sky.

So here’s a theory I’ve been wanting to share for a while: Sky Kids are blind!! So here me out: in the dark room before we go to the light when we die, we see our character without it’s mask (it can also be seen with the mask less character and when we run out of light levels). At first I thought it was just the character closing it’s eyes because it is dead or near death, but then I thought of the mask-less character closing it’s eyes. We have never seen the Sky kids open their eyes without their mask...maybe because they are blind or because they don’t have eyes. Now, I know this causes a problem: how will the Sky kids be able to navigate the world without eyes?. I ran into this question as well....then I thought about the masks...the masks that make your eyes glow. Here are my theories about the mask: 1. Maybe the light in the mask provides eyes for the character. That may be the case, but then the mask-less character wouldn’t get to see.
Number 2. Is the theory I stick with: the mask does nothing! It’s just there to cover the face of the character and it’s useless eyes!
Now back to how the Sky kid is able to see: Echolocation
It really makes a lot of since when you think about it! In the game, we see that all the creatures and Sky kids have a golden haze over their heads when they make sound! One of the best things in the game Sky is the wonderful sound! And the sound is so vibrant! Is there a reason for this? I think so! Studies show that people who lack certain senses, like being blind, their other senses are amplified, like their sense of smell, taste, feeling, and hearing! Maybe that golden haze over the Sky kids’ and other creatures’ heads when they make noises are actually just our characters picking up sound. Let’s connect the dots one more time: almost all of the emotes/animations we get from spirits, make sound (except for the sitting and sleeping.) When we wave goodbye to our friend, we emit a little ringing noise.

very nice theory ^^ my only "evidence" against it is that the skykid can also emotes that refer to sight, such as the lookout spirit's (wasteland) "looking around for something" emote. however you could always say that skykids act out emotes like spirits would do them even if they don't have the same abilities, because the meaning of the emotes remains the same

i know what im about to say its something very simple and might have already been said but
skykids might mimick spirits as a result of socialisation. so skykids, from a point of view, develop by learning more and more expressions.

as for the "eyes theory" i think that skykids might actually be able to see without the masks. something is not necessary to be glowing or to have something intense to be indicating that the creature has eyes. i think skykids see with and without the mask. however, if they indeed dont see without the masks then they could also see with the help of their masks but with the help of sensing too, like the light "illuminates" them and informs them whats aroynd them. but i dont like this lol.
