Soooo. Outline of what we know, just so I know I'm on the right track.

1. kingdom in the stars, lovely place, but elders descended from the stars to the sky
2. After settling the sky, elders and prince/king discover the hidden forest, which is rich in "darkstone"
3. Utilizing darkstone, civilization explodes in tech advancements and we get things like valley and vault.
4. darkstone is actually unstable, and something happens to corrupt creatures and the environment
5. Eye of Eden is a massive core of darkstone that is spewing darkness which swirls around it into the storm, corrupting creatures like krill and crabs
6. Enter Skykids. We're here to rescue Elders, remind them of the light, and to shepherd light back to "megabird" or the light, or whatever the higher power is that calls out to you in the opening cutscene?

What if.. might be a wild thought.. but the reason Eden went all crazy is cause two powers that shouldn't have been combined were combined. Like the king tried to make a very powerful diamond and fuse it with the power of light to make a self sustaining enormous power source?

Well, the area before orbit "Eye of Eden", is a raging storm. I don't think we ever actually make it to the eye, which is the column of light that is off in the distance and never gets closer.

Before I knew about the reborn cycle, I thought my job was to accumulate enough winged light to get there, and tried my absolute best to push through the storm.

But yeah. After you "die" and get to glow like a super Saiyan, you are now basically supercharged and fly through the storm and into the eye.

Then from the eye up into orbit. Where you converge with all the skykid sprites, spirits, and creatures of light

I am still wondering where the eden king is, we only have seen him in constellation form, my theory? He has become a shadow dragon that twas sealed away by the other elders, but his influence spread to the rest of eden and destroyed it, overwhelming sky kids with darkness, to the point where some turned in to dark dragons (the krills)

|| Uhm so basically there’s a adult pilot who’s sick of the adult world and crashed in the Sahara desert where he meets this little boy (the little prince) the prince asks him to draw a sheep, but every time he draws a sheep, but the prince complains whether it’s too old or sick or whatnot so the pilot finally draws a box with holes and claims there’s a sheep inside of it and the prince accepts that (this is the same thing with the hat/boa constrictor. It shows how adults perceive things literally and are unable to see the wider and imaginative things like a child can - read the book) but basically he learns more about the boy and learns that he fell from the stars. He is originally from a lonely asteroid with nasty trees and a single rose that begged for his attention at all times. The prince left the asteroid because of that and explored space and went to diff planets, each inhibiting a theme of adulthood (greed, alcoholism, loneliness) and them landed on earth. He first met a snake which said I can bring you back home by biting you. He then met a fox that said to tame it (basically it explains that you need to take responsibility for smth you raised) and he realizes that for the rose so he wants to go back. The backstory then ends and the pilot has fixed his plane and the prince is ready to leave. He goes back to the snake and gets bitten by it to go back (people say he died to go back to the rose, but it’s up to interpretation) ||
