From video analysis, with umbrella out, a sky kid takes 10.17 seconds to fall the height of the wasteland portal (2.88 m)

Therefore, Skykid’s terminal velocity with umbrella out = 2.88 m / 10.17 s
= 0.2831 ms^-1
= 0.283 ms^-1

By Newton’s Second Law, F_(net) = mass * acceleration
Since, there is no acceleration when the sky kid is travelling at terminal velocity, there is not net force
Therefore,
Total downward forces (gravity) = total upward forces (drag)

For simplicity’s sake, I take the umbrella to be a flat plane and the skin friction of the sky kid and the umbrella to be negligible. Therefore, the drag coefficient is 1.28.

Since air resistance = gravitational force on sky kid, assuming gravity to be the same as on earth
Air resistance = (mass of sky kid) * (gravitational acceleration)

Mass of sky kid = [0.5Cd(ρv²A)]/9.81
=[(0.5)(1.28)(1.225)(0.283)²(0.449)]/9.81
=0.002873 kg
= 2.87 g (3 s.f.)

1. they are light children but have dark faces so they try to cover up their dark faces
2. I believe that we're kinda time travelling in sky, but instead of seeing real "people" and interacting with them we see them as spirits so the seasonal spirits probably just lived in that area for some time.
3. Since our capes seem to be fire proof, water proof, and really strong so that they never break i think they use special capes that were all created by megabird (homemade capes would work ....before they start burning during a candle run)

Okay, so I had a really fun moment with no backing or any reason for evidence, but there was a whole moment where I was thinking of if it was a possibility that the children of the light are the bad guys and a dark Krill shrimp and their planet is the good guys. The only things that kept my mind on it was the fact that a lot of the lure is of how the Spirit people are all memories and how The Lore speaks about the light and the journey it takes. There was a small crazy moment on how I thought that the spirit people originally called on the light to help their race

But before they could get a grasp on what they brought to the world, the light ended up somehow taking over a lot more of the area, making the light reach even the farthest parts of the world

And the krill and Demon worms, are the last remaining creatures / species of the planet that can evolve to come back and survive in the environment

Thinking about the origin of krill, what if they were made in labs or with darkness energy for the war? And that's why they have black particles coming from under them, and also why they dont look like the other animals (jagged edges) ect

Or, they couldve been like mantas, small, helpful , and a pure white saturation with golden/blue eyes and played with the mantas/butterflies and crabs. I assume they maybe carried pots around or carried sky kids like the mantas do

But, the mantas that are big enough to be ridden can be seen in some spirits memories by them using the mantas at horse type races, or for fun. So I dont think that they couldve been that

Then again, they might've been hidden in the shadows until the war started in wasteland and the opposing people trained them to guard, attack and krill people

If we were to look at the krill in the second area of wasteland after social, the krill goes after a manta like it would a sky kid. So, what if the krills used to be mantas but were infected by the pollution and became dark,evil and aggressive creatures that seek light to manifest into darkness to make them stronger, also why when a krill attacks us they knock some of our wingedlights from us

And just before entering the temple in wasteland, when you light the stone to open the door 4(I think) krills come and search for you, could this be caused by the sense of light in the area attracting them to attack it and get rid of it

In sanctuary in the cave there are large amounts of meanie crabs , and also one of the largest dark plants in sky, maybe that couldve infected the crabs

So, I think they were originally nice like you said, but they werent made dark by the darkness. They were infected by it, but not transformed. I think that crabs were a shade or a brown in sanctuary island, since they were exposed by sunlight their shells lost saturation and went to a more grayish tone. And the crabs in the cave were infected by the dark plants ,therefore the dark patches on their shell and aggressiveness towards skykids. And they lost their energy turning into 'pure white' creatures

My theory is, (pretty basic actually) that over time darkness creates these creatures that are stark opposite of light. You see prarie is very bright in most places and also is like the era of prosperity.. so the evil is less.. but the elder civilisation then went through literal "clouds of despair" as the rainforest. The light was hidden. And it stays hidden until the valley.

They had a war that concluded things, "the dark times" gave rise to dark creatures, the war ended but at the cost of resources, and hence the snow. They then moved over to age of modern tech since technology advances as resources decline

I am back from the trials and yes,there are murals of elders

they are all from the final mural after you finish all the trials in the cave of prophecies

I would like to bring up the 4 statues in eden that you can not give light to, two have crystals that look like dark crystals but are blue like power diamonds, I think these crystals were naturally refined, and two "clean" statues with no darkness or anything else on them but these two crumble into dust when u get near them. The darkness holds the statues together so they can be saved by the light. Once the statues break into dust, nothing can save them. The darkness isnt bad, but there is an imbalance of light and dark. The darkness has to fill the cracks left by the light until the light comes back to fill them.

Also, where there is light there is darkness. I think this theory is close to the whole "good -bad" theory. An all good or all bad human cannot be human. Being human is a mix of all things that's the essence of humanity and I think that's what light dark statues may also interpret. I'll think more when I see more but I like this :3

Theorising (since I was too lazy to do the actual cave of prophecies so I am sure I might be pretty off Mark)
So these are trials which means you are to "conquer" all elements.
Why?
A. To become a ruler?
B. To become a successor to elders.
C. To become worthy of the prophecy.
Like irl when you master your senses and do intense meditation you reach closer to the one truth of the universe.
This is something like that.
You do all this to read about the elders and the stories and to realise the cycle.
The cycle of sky that keeps happening. That it's endless and even though these spirits legit left, we are the seeds of new civilisation and the cycle will continue with us. Something like that.

I just realised.. I remembered the order of the doors wrong

But the rain forest being the "clouds of despair" concept that I came up with got consolidated. I did all the spirits in the forest for a moth friend and most of them are just.. depressing.

There is also this concept I thought of that I wanted to share: so darkness and light, right? But it's far more related to happiness and sadness than you'd think.
I'll use the example of seasonal depression occurs in the cold months when the days are short and nights long. And the treatment used is: light therapy.
So, where the light doesn't reach, darkness grows.
(Again ik basic but idk I'm a basic moth so :3)
