Prairie: Earth
Forest: Water
Valley: Air
Wasteland: Fire

We also see that each Trial tests a personality or some trait:

Water: Patience
Earth: Resilience
Air: Balance
Fire: Courage

We see that the elders are broken or missing something:

Forest elder just snatches your light away. She is probably impatient. Forest's destruction may have been linked to this. At the start of her cutscene, we also see that she has given up with the invention of darkstone as she has probably run out of patience.

Prairie elder seems really tired. He struggles to lift the jar. He probably lost most of tge resilience that he once had, although we return this to him.

Valley elder twins compete against each other. However, we see that has a significant advantage over This is really imbalanced and one team always wins against the others causing it to be unfair.

Wasteland elder maybe had to go hide in the main temple of Golden Wasteland when the war waged. He lost his bravery.

and that leads me to think that wasteland is the second stage of their conflicts, because in wasteland battlefield you can clearly see 2 types of shields, which again represented their two parties. so as the conflicts got larger and larger, war broke out. it's not only the war between humans, it's also a war between sky creatures, because of humans capturing the creatures for their own use, the sky creatures turned against themselves and against human (aka krills eating skykids and mantas)

The idea of Megabird is based on a concept that all the light in the story is unified in some sense and can communicate. All life is connected. It's not necessary to conclude that Megabird is a conscious entity but it's certainly one interpretation.

There is an island in the distance in shipwreck with a glowy speck on it. But a windwall way before anyone can reach it. If you look out to the water when you are on the big pipes that exit shipwreck, you should see it a little to the left of the ship.

There's one in sanctuary like that in the ocean out of bounds. Friends names would be located there during that invisibility glitch. And in some areas, there's one out of bounds but in the downward direction, and you end up there in the water under the map if you warp while your friend is going home.

All i understood from those plants is they grow from darkness. For the spirits they seem to be a very hard material to simply destroy (hence the pickaxes, their flame power is probably too weak to destroy them). But for us sky kids using the flame is apparently strong and is able to dispel the darkness

So its possible that we are basically "cleansing the place"

Since darkness traps and feeds on light (so mining it for light makes sense for the spirits)

I dont think spears that bulky would pierce shields, there are Roman pilums made for that to disable enemy shields or ||to harass the enemy||

One in birds nest, other in Caves and other in Village

I couldnt actually hear what their call sounded like due to the valley music. And that light that you dont collect on the pedastal where you go after the race to get a candle also beeps, and it looks like a cluster of other peices of light

Do you think that person wearing the crown used to be the ruler of Eden, which looks like a kingdom before it fell? Eden might have been the center of the kingdoms. So maybe darkness fell on Eden which cursed the entire land and that’s why all the spirits are dead! If all of the race was killed long ago, maybe the world is only a place where light: Creatures of the light (us, mantas, jellyfish, etc) and darkness (Krabs, Krill, red rocks, etc)
