Theory: I believe the spears in sky were versatile in that they could be used as melee stabbing weapons or ranged projectile weapons. The golden wasteland elder is the only Elder to shoot this type of energy projectile from his item. It may have a limited number of firing rounds and needs to be charged by light in order for it to be used as a projectile weapon as the Elder can’t shoot it until after it is given light and then the handle or stick part of the weapon is charged with light.

Please vote OreoYes if you believe it was also used as a projectile weapon or OreoNo if you believe it was only used as a melee and throwing spear.

I have come to the conclusion that there was no difference between weapons ⚔️ or shields 🛡

I only think this way because a spear is thrown into a sun/star shield and the golden wasteland Elder has both. Which could mean several things:

there were either traitors if diamonds and star shields represent two opposing sides.
the civilization has a civil war and both sides originally using both emblems and weapons had a battle without changing visual queues as far as the weapons and shields goes.
there were two factions split by diamond and star shields 🛡 but a diamond soldier somehow got hold of the enemies spear and used it against the star soldier

if the concept arts were anything to go by, there was a battle between the spirits and the light creatures in the lead up to eden explosion. when eden ultimately exploded it flung corruption out and any living light creatures within close enough reach (but not so close they just died) were transformed in a way. big manta or light creature elders became krill, small ones became crab

I think it's called the vault of knowledge because those "stones/books" that were stashed away on shelves were like time capsules or memories of other ancestors (kinda like stored versions of the memories we relive) and the vault is divided by realms also because it's a form of organization of where each spirit was from

About the topic of vault a while ago:
I think that the vault was once real. However, in its proximity to eden, the top gets completely blown off in the explosion. We can see in orbit in an OOB that the vault summit is there for some reason. We can also see that there is a brek on the 3rd floor of vault. So now the knowledge lanterns are the ones which make it seem like the vault is there.

Well if you've heard about the prince, the king is the corrupt version, i think. So essentially what happened is the Prince split himself into these children of light which give us, the player, the vessel, power to restore Eden.

These are interesting ideas. My own humble idea based partly on yours and partly on the Tom Zhao timeline is that the winged light kids we collect originate from the Prince, but we are something else, originated from a decision made in Orbit, not in the Sky kingdom
