I don't think the megabird exists, at least not the way we've been led to believe. Hear me out- When the game starts, we get an opening dialogue, describing the fall of the stars. And every time we see ||megan || megabird, it looks like a large cluster of stars (or even galaxies?) in the sky. My theory is that the ancestors, the fallen stars, came from the megabird galaxy, where the original species lived, but for some reason the ancestors were banished (thus the "If only they had listened" line) and sent to a far away planet or dimension (the setting of sky.) What we perceive to be the megabird, the ones who give us our mission, are actually the original ancestor race.

Okay I’m gonna go off on a bit of a rant here but bare with me, I have a lay out I wanna get to as far as this theory

So stars ✨ fell from orbit (murals support) and are raised (fallen stars spirit memories support) and go through trials (spirits and murals support) the winner is crowned ruler (mural and statues support) there were possibly 8 different rulers (murals may support) and a war (statues and landscape supports) and the war may have been between fallen stars who follow mega bird (statues and shields may support) and those who worshiped technology (spirits statues and murals may support) those who worshiped Megan must have been on the side of the Creatures and were gunned down in graveyard and battlefield (landscape may support) these elder creatures and fallen stars were probably lead by the elder of Isle of dawn (statues and landscape and murals may support) as he is not allowed in Eden architecture and is the only elder with damage to his person.

To compile all of the images required to show the supporting evidence would be a never ending scroll of images. So if you have questions as to what supports what ask me with specifics and I’ll do my best to explain, direct and/or show

I’m not certain if the kneeling to the home space bird transporter type figure (or mega bird is what I believe it represents) is worshiping... it’s easier for me to say that as I had religious upbringing in my youth, so it’s simpler to just say kneel + idol = worship. But maybe it’s paying homage to the ideal of the thing the idol represents. Which would be to return to the holy land and ascend the beacon back to the far off galaxy 🌌 or “home”

Well lanterns usually work in a covered type of encasing with just enough air to keep the oil fire 🔥 from suffocating and shutters or blinds are used to focus the light in one direction or removed to shed light in an entire area. Lanterns usually try to protect the flame from things like wind which is why I believe the lantern in game doesn’t burn anything because it too probably has the glass encasing keeping the flame 🔥 from going out
