pThink Lightseekers honestly are quite interesting bunch regarding their roles if you ask me, still been thinking about how the Isle and Vault Lightseekers are essentially the worshippers of the lights

( especially when it comes to how excited the Isle Lightseeker is the moment they enter through the tunnel that leads to the three orbs shrine. Plus both of them wear very similar cape style sooo 👀)

when creatures are being formed by megan out of light, they are neutral.
during this state, if they are exposed to dust, they are created as dark creatures
if they are exposed to stasis sparks, they become light creatures
if they are exposed to nothing, they become neutral
dust is parasitic. it eats up the light inside a creature and makes it constantly hungry, forcing it to be carnivorous, and hunt for external sources of light.
stasis sparks create light a lot and sustain both the light creature and the stasis sparks, and in return, the light creature takes stasis sparks to other places
neutral creatures consume small amounts of light, or none at all and usually consume organic matter.

the new home is the kingdom so we now know the elders existed before the kingdom, which is before the invention of the diamonds
then there is the forest elder soundtrack "the invention" which prolly means that teth was the one that invented the diamonds and started using the dark stones

So let's stay with the idea that too much light is hurtful for Krills, they won't go up then, since the clouds protect them from the sun. No point in getting hurt by too much light so they stay there. Where it's more dark.
For the crab... Since we can pick them up I would totally see some spirits picking them and going in other realms with them. (Like some pets?) And like Krills, they don't support light so they let them in some of the more obscure zones of the realms.

I don't know that much, only that the King was supposedly crowned by the Elders? But at the end (Eden) he became corrupted over time because of his greed (for the diamonds, which later formed the red crystals)..and that the Prince is possibly a version of the King/or the Child of Light

ok so first there is the symbiosis theory

#

when creatures are being formed by megan out of light, they are neutral.
during this state, if they are exposed to dust, they are created as dark creatures
if they are exposed to stasis sparks, they become light creatures
if they are exposed to nothing, they become neutral
dust is parasitic. it eats up the light inside a creature and makes it constantly hungry, forcing it to be carnivorous, and hunt for external sources of light.
stasis sparks create light a lot and sustain both the light creature and the stasis sparks, and in return, the light creature takes stasis sparks to other places
neutral creatures consume small amounts of light, or none at all and usually consume organic matter.

We’re now in Wasteland and we are in for a special treat. Krill feed on light creatures so that manta right there is bound to attract a krill or two. Oh, here comes the krill. (insert scene of the krill krilling the manta) Now, what we just saw there is how the krill hunt. Their eye shines in the dark like a cat and acts as a spotlight as it looks for light creatures, enabling it to search for prey even in the darkest corners of the Golden Wasteland. When they detect prey, their eye turns red, and after a moment of determining whether the target is potential food, they dive at their prey. There are 2 types of krill, though the differences between them are minor. Krill in Wasteland create noticeably weaker walls of wind to repel debris, while the krill in Eden have remarkably strong wind walls. This is probably because Eden has more debris, making it necessary for krill to exert more effort

Krill are capable of hosting small parasitic organisms called dust, which suck sparks out of a creature to the point of starvation which causes their hosts to turn carnivorous and hunt for external sources of light. Krill are known to exhibit strange behavior of attacking sky kids, a species known for its biological neutrality. However, the purpose of this seemingly paradoxical behavior is not to eat the sky kid, but rather the highly nutritious winged light that sky kids carry inside their hard, armour-like bodies. Just like bearded vultures have to smash large bones to get to the marrow, the krill are attempting to knock the winged light from inside the sky kid by using a method academically known as “booping” (insert moth getting krilled). However, the success rate of the krill catching the winged light that falls out is very low, as the winged light sticks to the ground after it falls, and the krill are too slow to catch the winged light as they fall.
