I have been thinking about the seals/barriers in the game. I noticed for a good chunk of them, not all of them. The barrier kinda shows what the area behind it is like. The prairie cave comes to mind with the forest seal. The room is flooded behind it, kinda like the forest. Just food for thought.

I was thinking about the theory that sky kid’s bodies are made out of stone and I think that’s true. Not only are they the only part that casts a shadow and are dark grey, when you step on the bodies of the fallen in Eden they make the stone sound, and when they deteriorate they also sound like stone breaking apart.

I like to think it as “wax stone” (though my headcanon is that its not exactly stone or wax but was created just for sky kid bods and is similar to the way elders are) like how sometimes candles have that kind of fade to them, and they are lighter at the tips of their limbs. I like the idea better than imagining flesh smacking against mountains and plummeting into the dirt.

ancestors always have 2 lines going through their bodies, like stripes on clothing
only elders and skykids are drawn hollow - no lines, just their body
if we look at the depiction of the [theorized] Child of Light in the intro, as well as the [confirmed] player character, aka Skykid, we can see that they have the same lineless depiction as the glowing child in the prophecy murals
therefore, they're not an ancestor chosen from the masses - they're a skykid who fell from the stars

its commonly theorized that the skykid we see fall in the Ushering Stargazer is the same one who completed the trials
