rhythm guide: ester (fem) (my friend named this one, not me)
sneaky survivor: raz (fem)
prophecy guide: atiya (masc) (this one is arabic, it’s one of the few exceptions to the hebrew naming thing)
and enchantment guide: doron (masc) (my friend named this one, not me)

i want to give my personal theory on the origins of the sky kids. i think i will need to gather evidence first to support it

my theory is that skykids are magical robots/dolls. (not literally but the only comparison i can come up with). they do not reproduce organically because they are made. by who? i personally believe Prince/King guy. Reason i believe they are like robots is because their life force is fire, like electricity. they do not eat, drink, or produce waste. instead they need to recharge with fire ir some sort of heat source. unlike organic creatures, they are able to take blunt force without really dying, crashing and landing from flight, constantly pumbing into hard objects. "kid" is metaphoric. they are not actual children but are designed like that. one, they are mimicing and learning from spirits. two, they have the nativity and innocence of a child. everytime they are reborn they take a full shape with all the memorise of their past lives, still having those skills. and players interact by bonding and teaching others.

each sky kid also has a default shape and default presets until they mimic and interact with others. as they interact and learn, they evolve becoming more individualisitc, thus designing themselves in a way they like

The factor being the environment

Basically Valley:
-Has a lot of prime sliding terrain (sliding)
-Has a lot of flat ice surfaces (ice skating)
-Has a lot of wind, especially upward wind (gliding/flying/soaring)

to the ancient work however statues with pupils may have been more common than we think. but our modern brains are use to seeing statues with no pupils. so the ones that do, we experince begin to experience the uncanny valley

looking at the photo of the figure he seems to be looking down in defeat. but thinking about it based off my historical knowledge about art and stuff, who would have had the time to build such a thing in the middle of such a dangeroys area?

considering the krill and the poor state of the wasteland, logically speaking most if not all people would avoid the area entirely.

also statues throught the game are not that realistic. the people of sky seem to have a stylistic approach to their statues

with abstract forms and shapes

and considering the disastrous state of the wasteland, it would have been subjected to looting (Which is a HUGE problem in archeology and many local areas.) but maybe the statue is a left over from all the destructiveness of the area, then thatll be a different complicated answer, which i think should involve some sort of natural errosion due to pollution.
