but in some ways the cape never leaves out back untill the last light is lost

so if your capeless like in the mirror limbo you can see a diamond indent on our back

I think there is a hook on this cape we get and it sticks into that indent and that hook takes hold of our flame

and with our flame megan can get us to do anything she wants with a threat of snuffing us out

(another sub theory of this: cape wearers are megan believers)

but that's just a theory

Maybe Shiny Boi is in Eden Dark Space BECAUSE they're the most dangerous. Megan may have built the spaces out of space and time to try to lure the others back, but the capeless kid at the end of Eden was given nothing to ensure they never had any tools to break free and to try to break their spirit.

If this is the case, then it is very likely that we only show up once the kid's spirit is fully broken.

Perhaps the statues are disconnected cores. Without connection, there's not anything to push someone to keep gong, nor would there be any guidance.
In Eden, you keep going no mater what. But for most ancestors, they may have 'died' i.e. got stuck, giving up

Because last night Kitsuu came up with a theory about why the Wing Buffs function like Winged Lights, and it's because of their connection with the Prince- rather than Megan

of course that's assuming that Winged Lights are memories of the Prince

As for the disconnected thing- because you needed to Ascend them to get those Wing Buffs, maybe they'd lost faith in the Prince at some point
