I think that the trials were more a thing in spiritual plane that was to understand if in spirit the prophecy child could do all the things that the elders can

He was so far gone and there was nothing they could do about it and eventually his corruption lead to darkness that they needed to fight

That makes sense... but at the same time I feel like a lot of it was endurance more than spiritual ngl

I think.... the reason why the ark looked like that was because they forgotten and ignored nature but once they remembered it, they were able to obtain the pure light source to make spells and stuff and sell them. The purple spell being an artificial one was needed because they still needed the technology from the vault to even use the lights of the other realms for other magic

The natural flames of each realm is only so powerful alone. But with the purple, it could have possibly made the flames stronger and be used for other things

I dont remember exactly what the purple light did ngl

The only thing I can think more for example is the boats, maybe the gravity spell could avoid needing to make boats using diamonds, but probably the alchemist was trying everything and discovering as things happened

They could make potions

Or light as electricity (I like skykids are golems theory) and it adds power to the skykid, or uses some sky physics to do it

Like, in vault we see a lot of these things

And I think that it was made in GW or Vault

In vault we can see elder that couldn't make the powerstone (I think?) or lightstone... Idk, i don't dig that deep in to the lore.

And then our golem with power intact shares to make it

Actually upon a second listening, it sounds like a mix of groaning pipes/metal and the faint ringing of old massive bells or the sounds of a church choir

It could be a groan sing if we're dealing with a kid who is trying to continue to be brave, resilient, and patient in a torturous situation (like being alone and trapped in the Eden Diamond)

... It occurs to me that we never bring even a single wl with us in the diamond. If that is shiny boi in there... we might not be doing anything for him but giving him tiny bits of energy to maintain his current state

I think it may not be as much about how much light we bring to him but the fact that we allow them/us an escape

That presumes that we do allow him an escape rather than visiting for a little bit to give him a tiny sense of connection to the outside world

Well immediately after we hug ‘em we start our journey up to orbit, which has the recurring idea of it being the home of the light, where all become one

We hug the kid and because they become a part of us by travelling up to orbit the kid is being taken home

i thought the glowing child is our inner self, like in phylosphy obout the ego death to find the core of our self, so when we hug we become one and have no more bondries to the death. so we can go to heaven and go reborn

It would make more sense in the grand scheme of things, too.

Well, I don’t think so. I’ve done a few tests as well to see if it’s a separate entity, by using a shrink, growth, and resize spell at that cutscene, all of which the npc child also shrunk to my size, grew to my size, and was resized to my new permanent height.

Though, since the new update, it may have been changed, so I’m not sure.

Something similar happens with the spirits, it is possible to make them use the same emotes that we use

My theory is that the krills are corpses of the dead whales. There are 4 krills in graveyard and there are 4 whale skeletons(i guess)

So what they could be whale is the largest creature we see in sky and they are also the size of the krills

Or maybe a huge ancient creature
