I'd say that light hurts krill, like crabs and so they stay in dark areas, and if they see anything with light, they destroy it. That's why they don't kill crabs because crabs are dark

Who’s the King?
The King is the presumed monarch of the Sky Kingdom. He is important to the lore, and is in game, just not in the way you’d expect. The little information about him comes from the concept arts and devs, so there’s lots of room for your personal headcanons. It is commonly accepted that the King is the Eden Elder. The Eden Elder is « not around to be saved anymore ».

Who’s the Prince?
The Prince is canon, it’s up to us how he affects the lore. In the concepts, he played many pivotal roles throughout the lore, I suggest reading them to find your favourite. We do not know if the Prince and King are separate or the same, that’s for you to decide! The Prince is also considered the Eden Elder at times.

Who’s Megabird?
Megabird is an elusive character. There is lots of conflicting theories and information from the concepts. Some believe they are like the god of the Sky world, others believe they are a personification of the universe/cycle of rebirth. There’s other theories, but there’s no time to get into it. Reading the concepts would be useful to get an idea of Megabird, their development, and what they may be like in your theory.

What are Power Diamonds ?
Power diamonds are those diamonds you light to open doors around the game. They play a big part in both the concepts and the current game. The canon information surrounding power diamonds is that they are related to the Sky Kingdom’s downfall.

Thats where i have a dystopian theory... The whole rebirth and ascending cycle was devised to keep the eden orb powered indefinitely... Orb that that seems to be ejecting power to higher ups who left the sky long back. Hence we never truly ascend, we get thrown back to repeat the cycle again

It originally did, but got removed cause it kept showing future Seasonal constellations for some reason, I think

Clean up? I think they know the sky world is doomed hence left it. But the only thing worth it js keeping the orb powered.. Which destroys worlds i guess. So instead of having the orb in their higher realms, they still keep it in sky and let the poor sky kids power them with their souls every time
