Or maybe warriors that died in vault after surviving gw?
i have two theories tho, a normal one and the darker one
first theory : those tombstones are part of the vault illusions. they are exist as rememberance for vault people who died when eden went boom and the Praying Acolyte remains tehre to pray for their peace
2nd theory : those tombstones are for people who are used as experiments in vault. you remember those memory lanterns that literally pilee up in vault? well, i suspect they are doing some 'shady' experiments to create memory lanterns by taking people memories and storing it on lantern. of course there would be lots of sacrifice, so they build a hidden grave area in vault and the Acolyte is the one who manage the burial
Maybe theyre from Wasteland?
Experiments tho
Most likely though
Angst is the way amiright
Btw is there a sign for the king
Yeah
yeh

oh btw i taking this pic in office, thanks kadal for the help
The prophecy??! don't trust what the Elders say!!
mmmm not really
The prophecy??! don't trust what the Elders say!!
you cant tempt me, skybot. i will always believe asparagus-mushroom twins
Lol, be one with the Twins
/pfffy
btw
this head shape is teh same with our instrument wardrobe symbol
/oh yea very tru
like this?
It looks like a person
/does that mean we carry prince on our back>
the king

they’re likely connected
most mysterious season than ever
behind my skid-

the same symbol

/i was i had a penny
also this
/everytime we see king symbol
The prophecy is our destination lmao we save the king? The instruments have a bit of him?
That thing you marked as "gate?" are more like bird statues johnny
maybe it thanks to his light that we can have instruments-
The instrument symbol is everywhere tbh
yea
Wait wait wait hold the phone
The shield of wasteland elder has it
i mostly think it’s Light
/bird statues!
WAIT HOLD UP TOO
not instruments
Omg btw are the shrines at temples representing the elders
we could find it even in Prairie port
THE PROPHWCY CAVE MURAL
Res said something about the admiring actor music sheet having king's theme or smth, so the instruments and the king are somehow related
wut
THE ONE WITH TSADI AND THAT LONG BOI BUILDING
Does the air trial mural depict Tsadi bringing the fire to the Vault temple??
It seems like it,,,
/strange
Well people said the wasteland elder was lighting a cannon
||Tsadi was a brave warrior||
Which to me personally doesn't make much sense
/why tsadi but the pic here is at forest
No no I was talking about the air trial mural
Forest and Wasteland have something similar
likely its depicting forst burning
Ive always that it was odd that there was a shrine under the diamond press
/oop must sneeep happy loring yall
good noight jen
So maybe by putting her shrine under it can make power diamonds without waste
Considering we don't see any sewage pipes there
might be as a 'rememberance' since Teth is suggested to eb the founder of manta juicer?
hmm yea
or maybe it just made in the shape of manta juicer but its not actually a working one
But it does seem to move at the end after she makes the diamond
Also speaking of shrines
I wonder why the home shrine in the last area of the forest doesn't look like the others
Wait it doesn't?
Nope

I don't really use the home shrines so I wouldn't know xd
screenshot?
you mean the scales?
Scales?
oops i maybe misunderstood
ah, its fine
I'm running low on battery and running to forest takes very long but the area before the temple's home shrine looks like this
Took it from Sky's wikia
Manta statues?
Hm no,, no tails tho
I mean the bell near it did summon the four winged manta
But yeah I wonder why it looks like that instead of the normal vault elder looking home statue

I think this supports
The Teth manta juicer theory
There's no other logical explanation
Lore chat kinda dead so imma sneep now

SKYBOT
Nothing sky bot says is lore related
Skskjsdhjs I know but it's weird for them to message that
There’s a fishtail home shrine in GW battlefield too, in the broken gatehouse area w giant plant
I think the giant skull in wasteland near catapult and the water prophecy mask look similar
The water mask is based on a turtle
the skulls in graveyard are of turtles too
Sometimes i question everything that I walk on in Sky, this is one of the "sometimes"-
I'm not falling for that again
Ok, but hear me out.
What if there’s so many krills in Eden because it was the city with the most powerful warriors so there had to be so much darkness to take over it? The Point of No Return is where the best of the best warriors went to see if they were worthy enough or whatever to guard Eden.
The eden channel just dropped a total pearl
The what?
They said that in Japanese, Eden is called Original Sin. The original sin was eating of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Oh. Yeah. That makes sense.
Wait.
So what if that was where the darkness started and it spread out which is why each realm is less and less affected (for the most part)?
Whatever the king ate, that's what caused the giant crystal
An important thing tho is it's not a perfect translation from Japanese back to English
Is it imperfect enough to suggest that it's not a biblical allusion?
While we suspect it is very much tied to setting off the mess we come to, it may not be a sin like we usually think of one.
Original Sin is a pretty unmistakable concept
I am not japanese (just repeating what I've heard), so I'd say it's not perfect enough to guarantee a biblical translation
Well, in the Bible, the “original sin” was eating the fruit and that’s what allowed sin to come into the world.
That may be representing the darkness.
sorry to interrupt but actually, original sin is what comes up in japanese for the stormlock area
That's the thing about an allusion, us that it's not a translation, but an acknowledgement of a past work. Might be direct or indirect.
Naming something original sin is a pretty direct allusion
Scares, so just for the end, not all of eden?
yeah
So the area where the giant crystal is
yes
eye of eden, as in the level name, or just eden name in general in japanese is just stormy region
Also do not forget knowledge was a key part of the biblical story
Knowledge is Vault tho
Knowledge of good and evil, specifically
We’re in the lore channel. There’s so many things that we don’t know so really, any of us could be right or we could all be wrong.
Maybe we’re looking to deep into things instead of just enjoying how beautiful Sky is.
There's a screenshots channel
Ok but what if I think the lore is beautiful and I wanna enjoy that
Distruction is pretty
Yeah. Lore is great. I love to theorize.
I’m definitely not dissing lore.
So to me, that allusion suggests that the crystal was formed on the spot where the king ate the round object
How do you know the king ate it?
Going off of vault mural
Original sin doesn't have to specifically refer to eating something
Sure in the bible that's what it is
We do enjoy sky lore and the beauty of the game together
somnia
Personally I think that's the crystal that made the Prince into King, and ultimately into the monster that skids had to deliver flame to in the concepts
is it just me or is the home island today floating?
I wouldn't think about it so literally if there wasn't a picture of the king eating something right before vault elder gets all weepy
That round object not something he ate i think... That has other functions to do
The king could literally be holding the orb up
I imagine Home floating is probably for game functionality though—
At no point does it show the king eating it
He mau have been kneeling to it and screaming
Yes, except they named that area original sin
I mean, if it’s part of a ceremony, it’s always possible he’d be saying a prayer or rite of some sort to the sacred object
It could have been eating him
You could suppose anything from that mural
The king isn't even holding the orb
It's floating up
This is how synthesis works...you connect references conceptually
Exactly. They murals are really vague
But have it your way
I mean the first thing is if elders even eat
He was just playing with a beach ball and original sin means he didn't share nice
i agree it could be a reference to the eating of the forbidden fruit but i think could be in a more metaphorical sense the king/eden elder ate the fruit, like perhaps he might have literally bit off more than he could chew or he had consumed too much of his pride and thirst for power
or you can be like me and say he was trying out his new lush bathbomb
Resh: Ugh, finally some time for hygine.
Bath bomb: destroys world
Resh: When I said I wanted something cleansing, this is NOT what I meant.
okok but what boggles me is previous murals show elders performing their functions, like doing something for their people (eg look at forest elder’s mural), but then there’s the king. its like he’s doing jack for the people worshipping him but idk if i interpreted right & ofc theres more between the lines
It's the same orb thing that king holding in vault mural i believe
It's like that orb was used for connecting creatures with megabird
It says the same
Oh yeah I forgot about the theory that he was actually ripping out his light
There's a full image of this office water one.. but i can't share here. If anyone want to see dm me
That would make a lot more sense
Considering all the other vault murals show what the elders did on a daily basis
Like isle was directing people and prairie mural has the butterflies
The vault mural of the king would most likely be whatever responsibility they had before the corruption of eden
Keeping the fruit
Do fruit even exist in sky
Keeping the "fruit"
Like I get the biblical reference but original sin isn't a one and done with eating
I like to use a reference until I've wrung all the meaning out of it
Original sin refers to the fact that people have an innate tainted nature
That would be an opinion, not a fact, but sure
It's literally the first sin ever committed, which was eating the forbidden fruit
Uh it was disobeying god
It's conceptually innate corruption
But I believe it's a matter of opinion whether people are inherently sinful
it’s still debated what the « original sin » is. depends on your denomination honestly
although i think it’s pretty accepted that the original sin is disobeying god
it’s just the semantics that are contested
Sure, yes. It was an act of defiance and arrogation.
Which, again...seems like it must be relevant to the catastrophe in eden
I mean yeah I'd agree with that
So...what was forbidden in this case, and forbidden to whom?
This case meaning eden catastrophe
Completely irrelevant, but can I just point out that the Belonging spirits all appear the appropriate ages for the life stages their respective realms represent?
Both of those facts were confirmed so yes
So...what was forbidden in this case, and forbidden to whom?
@dim maple I mean Id agree with you on the point you made before about the king guarding or keeping something, just not the eating part.
Their age/cape/realm are all connected
I think it's been confirmed they're the same
I just read through the Canon doc and didn't see that
it hasn't been confirmed, but many people think they are the same
Understood
I mean to be fair the vault mural doesn't exactly look like the king
Unless that's what the king looks like without the robes and mask
I have a lil theory about the Krills
Ok so, since sky is a game about life and death, does that mean the Krills are meant to represent the roadblocks u meet in ur life?
Or maybe they are supposed to be the stuff that stops u from dying? Since they make u take longer to get to eden?
Just a theory
Hey, uh, quick question I've always had:
King is/was(?) an elder, right? If so, why does he look so different from the other ones?
I'M BACK! I'll be observing for now and shutting down people's ideas
And we don't have any official art of the king
Yesss, vibe check those ideas queen/king.
Excuse me?
official art or concept art?
Technichally the concepts are official, just not up to date or current cannon
kom - that depends on your interpretation of the king. it could be that the king was an elder (the eden elder,) or he was a completely different being from the elders but maybe he tried to reach status of elder by being king, etc. these are just some of the many possible takes regarding the king
also please don't shut down other people's ideas lol that is not the point of this channel, thank you
I have a lil theory about the Krills
Ok so, since sky is a game about life and death, does that mean the Krills are meant to represent the roadblocks u meet in ur life?Or maybe they are supposed to be the stuff that stops u from dying? Since they make u take longer to get to eden?
Just a theory
@unkempt galleon I mean if that's how you see it
It's harder to pinpoint metaphorical things
Actually, I can field this one
@unkempt galleon The game isn't exactly about life in death, it seems more to me as the balance between it (my interpretation) If there is light, there must be a shadow. If there are mantas, there will be krill. So they could be, but I would rather see them as just the negative.
Excuse me for a moment
You're excused
I'M BACK!
@unkempt galleon The game isn't exactly about life in death, it seems more to me as the balance between it (my interpretation) If there is light, there must be a shadow. If there are mantas, there will be krill. So they could be, but I would rather see them as just the negative.
@fallen epoch
Didn’t the game designer say so in an interview?
Lol ok
Actually, how did the Krill form in the wasteland?
Because clearly it wasn't always a wasteland
Maybe from the darkness plants?
So a factory?
Well, I am saying that can be included in the umbrella
But the whole realm is more than that
Well, you can see a giant ark
Can we add export of goods to the list? :3
Anyways, that is not the part I am thinking about
What is the sludge? it is made within the factories
Not, made made
What is the word
A byproduct
You can see it dripping out of pipes and into the ocean
Could Krill just have been an effect of enviromental devastation?
No one? really? ._.
what did i miss
Before or during your lifetime?
I am that one person who thinks darkness is just trying to protect light, and Krill are the result of light being hurt very badly so the darkness got aggressive to make sure it never happens again
interesting
Kinda like how one will develop maladaptive survival tactics when things get too bad, the darkness developed Krill back when it was absolutely nessasary to go to the extremes to defend the poor light from further harm
I just realized how cool that the first cutscene in isle is the Eden (rebirth): to new player is a hint that is the destination they wanna go; to the sky children ( avatar ) themselves, the isle somehow recall their memory of orbit where they were created from their (though the avatar barely remember what’s going on before they were born).
That was a side story that the scholars had, the whole enchantment season took place in wasteland but technically didn’t have much contribution to the realm
They didn’t export any goods at wasteland
Kinda like how one will develop maladaptive survival tactics when things get too bad, the darkness developed Krill back when it was absolutely nessasary to go to the extremes to defend the poor light from further harm
@short owl Who do Krill kill Mantas then?
Holy crap, I just rewatched the opening intro for the first time since I got the game. That adds so much to my perspective! 😮
I like to post something about the elders after noticing that section in office about life cycle.
Isle elder: when we give him light, he’s reborn
Prairie elder: when we give him light, he creates butterflies for us children to play with.
Forest elder: is temperamental and moody like a teen but is actually misunderstood and means well, even though her methods to take light are brazen.
Valley elders: As new adults in our twenties, we are often trying out new things to see what we really like to do. We compete against ourselves to find new things ourselves and apply them into our life. And the twins compete for that light that would give them happiness.
Wasteland elder: is a fully fledged adult with the responsibility of protecting someone, but like all adults protecting something, they are lost, they are hurt, they are weak, but they are still willing to stand and fight. It is us children finally taking their responsibility as our own by passing them the light that finally puts them at rest.
Vault elder: an old knowledgable lady who is willing to teach everyone her wisdom she has gathered over the years of her long life. She’s patient and is actually happy to talk to all the children and doesn’t outright ask the children to give the light to her.
Eden Elder: that elder is already dead, probably killed by the Dark Dragons. That’s why spirits cannot possibly survive in that realm for long. But the dead elder doesn’t like the children dying because of her blunder so she as a dead soul uses her remaining light to help the children rescue the stars(wl)and help them reach the orbit where they can be reborn as reward for saving all those stars.
Yeah, I know that, but perhaps their dead spirits are trying to tell us a story through this.
I don't really look to much into the elders
I'm more interested in the balance and the cycle of rebirth
Hmm, I feel like the elders have the answer somewhere hidden, since they literally represent the rebirth cycle
Mantas were farmed for light. That can't have been pleasant. The darkness likely found this unacceptable. To stop this, the darkness may have decided to make that option no longer viable.
I think that could be understood in terms of balance, as well
They extracted light, leaving darkness, which wants to interact with light
The answer lies with the Eden elder and thatgamecompany claims that prophecy will answer some questions for us. How about this? The four elders in prophecy saw the dark prophecy so they took some drastic measures that ended up with golden wasteland and Eden.
Like carbon in hydrocarbons
Mantas that were not caught would pass safely through the clouds above or travel around. Mantas that were caught would never be juiced. Either they escape krill and ancestor both, or they don't survive long enough to be used
...
Thus the ancestors would lose reason to catch mantas for juicing
Sorry, carbon would be like darkness

Do tell
I'd need to find it, but it shows how to make power diamonds
And the mantas got juiced
Bodies became sludge
#lore-discussion-spoilers message this one is not as explicit
Maybe they chucked eden elder into a juicer
...
Do you have true and factual evidence to show that krills "juice" mantas for light because the darkness willed it to
Where did krills juicing mantas come from?
They clearly eat them or consume them in some way as per GW scene
But I don't think anybody said they do it the same way as ancestors
Not krills juicing mantas. Ancestors juicing mantas
...
So ancestors juiced mantas
And the darkness didn't like that
so the darkness created krills
...That kill mantas
Am I missing something here?
Destroying a resource is a good way to get people to stop using it
I would frame it as ancestors appropriated light, which caused an imbalance that manifested as mechanisms for darkness regaining light
Also better to kill quickly rather than allow a slow death of being juced alive
If Krills killed mantas to stop them from getting used, how come that didn't play a bigger part in the story?
Because they were one of the TOO DARK things that got cut
I wish I found the juicer rather than the trap concept
Where does the light go?
Into diamonds
In forest and GW
The bodies became goop
Who says mantas have bones
Sludge
Mantas have bones
It is due to a more unusual kind of death
What about the darkness? Why would it hope to accomplish?
Doesn't the goop benefit the darkness?
Why would it want the goop to stop?
You're anthropomorphizing a force of nature
No, I'm being toxic and pointing out the holes in this theory
But go ahead, I wont disturb you anymore XD
Believe what you'd like to believe, my guy. The game is open to anything :3
Oh, so just trolling. I'm fine to be done with you then.
Well, I wasn't trolling, I don't do that. I was trying to give my views on his theory
But in a very rude way
Sorry about that!
You've overestimated how cool and edgy being rude makes you seem
Let's keep it respectful in here ok
I know. I didn't exactly mean it like that
We're here to share theories and ideas and every one is entitled to their own
I was getting angry but then I realized it is all opinionated and it wasn't my place to be that guy
I guess my apology just came out wrong
Anyways, I'll shut up now
X/
The darkness doesn't want mantas to be goop bc then the light is being hurt and that's not good! Manta goop should be in mantas protecting manta light!
Also I am more hurt by you thinking I'm a guy than I am you challenging my theory
Who says mantas have bones
@dim maple all creatures of light leave bones
._.
If they die in unnatural ways
Lol
I'm still going to shut up
But I'm sorry again for being a jerk. This is an amazing community and I don't want to make it worse
All forgiven on my part

With mutual apology for any misunderstanding
These emojis are so cute
(On how GW might have looked like before the fall
(Managed to grab one pic before I fell into nothingness :>
I'll be back on this chat tomorrow when I feel like I've been away long enough, I feel embarassed because of how I acted :/
So was no one gonna tell me that the SAME WORM THATS IN FOREST IS ALSO IN GW
Yall i almost had a freaking heart attack 😭
...it's been that way since Sky was Sky
well they both are whales but it's not curtain they are both the same one
since that one is more chunky then the one in forest
That whale's a part of some pretty convincing theories too.
...[me when I started sky, flew away from the big roaring sound and never looked to see what it was. And also never went back to investigate said sound]
@sacred rapids its been feasting...
It ain't no vegetarian like the one in forest
At least that one maintains its distance
I managed to get a good pick of what looks like the mantas soul after getting krilled
Where are the juicers?
Behold the forest temple
Manta soul
I've never seen that small detail before
Oop
Me neither, I always either turn away or im already at the entrance to graveyard by then
and from something that someime said a while ago the "soul" looks like the stuff the vault elevator has around it
but also looks like wax
The dark flake things?
Could it also be a version of those sparkles that come out of that metal thing at the very end of forest? Before the doors open up and you're allowed into the last forest area?
@summer shell this is what I found in courtesy to this wonderful person
But nothing too in depth sorry
There's one that shows the manta being juiced
Mmmmmmm lemme see if I can find it
oh so that's what those jar things are around the shrine
And becoming sludge
I didnt find anything
ge e z
Scroll down a bit from the last time somebody posted the g rated version...is that it?
There was never a concept of mantas being juiced
If there was
I think it would b pretty nice if u actually had proof don’t u think 🤔
Where is this concept
Its still in my belief that they used bones
but I still can't find where I saw the bones being charcoal
I swear Im not insane or anything
Whoa this I never heard of before

ok so here's why I think bones are or at least part of what goes into power diamonds
for starters we know when light creatures have unnatural deaths they leave bones
so pressing mantas would get you charcoal as a result
and then when that charcoal is compressed it becomes a darkstone
similar to how diamonds are created irl
Charcoal?
yeah
like I said above I swear I read somewhere the bones are made out of charcoal
but regardless
even if it wasnt charcoal
seems like fossil
compressing it to high pressures would be similar to diamonds irl
and it would explain the existence of the graveyard
for starters if you were to have a factory youd need raw materials
like a lot of it
guys, they used Prairie butterfly pot to produce diamond, not mantas
There might be natural dark stone as well as synthetic dark stone, same w diamonds, and when they ran out of stuff to mine they still needed the technology…
most likely the forest press used butterflies
but in the case of wasteland, you cant really transport butterflies there
considering the storm and the fact that its pretty far away
but we have boats
theres the storm
and even if you did use boats
youre gonna look for a more efficient way
just cause you have planes doesnt mean youre gonna fly over to the next country to buy something
well, boats used to transport ancients and resources, right?
yes but thats beside the point
During the epic battle, kingdom sent warriors to wasteland/eden, they need boats
but some were crashed
boats depend on Diamond’s power to fly
also Im pretty sure on one of the concept art pictures
what went into the press was rock-like
definitely not just a manta thrown in there
so you think some dark stone was made by ancients?
possibly
thats more up in the air
I mean the manta in the press never made much sense to me considering darkstone takes in light
we really saw there’s a Hunter in forest, but what the manta was used is still unclear
so if you just threw in a manta it wouldnt make sense as to why it suddenly saps light
maybe you could have a look at the Temple door
that’s how they made the source of power
Forest is a place full of joy and sadness
CN editor said forest used to be a amusement place for ancients
as we can see ancestors hide’n’seek there
also it’s a sad realm.
with upset miner and hunter
so youd use smaller darkstone to make a larger one?
2 units light and 2 units darkness
the modern day « darkstone » is likely the dark plants
Amazing chemical reaction
and considering we see miners mining « light stone » we can assume the 2 units light are butterflies/mantas and light stone
yea
and the 2 units darkness are dark plants and ???
bone??
bones in game aren’t really associated with a specific element
if bones, there won’t be any bones at all
hey bricky did you ever come across any concept art that said bones were made out of charcoal
I swear I saw something like that a few days ago
no, but there was a concept mentioning that the elders/ancestors had charcoal-textured skin
nope they may be burn trees to make charcoal
that’s why there’s lumberjack
Hey Brick, your history fu is better than mine (not that I intend to stop looking)

I remember there being a concept art where they juiced a manta for power diamons. they shoowed the manta becoming light and sludge
on it
I commented something along the lines that it was really messed up
is there anything else in the game that takes light besides the plants and darkstone
i dont feel like the 4th ingrediant would be the red crystals in eden
red crystal may be the fragment of the ark
Light drained out of Creatures
Cages filled with waste are transported away
Hmm... I don't think tht was it but... I guess it may have been memory warp
huh so then graveyard was probably a dumping ground
although idk how theyd fit that into the machines
cut it up
some related concepts
we cannot see any thorn at present
maybe krill are born from that stuff
krill ate the thorns
What is this building in the distance?
I think that's the older design of the wasteland temple
That makes sense
The king symbol used to be a lot more prominent than it is now, but I guess they didn't update the oob background model in shipwreck
Yeah that symbol really sticks out
If I recall I may have had an old beta photo of it being like that in battlegrounds, maybe not quite as pronounced as that though
Not sure if this goes back far enough, but this was November 2019
Timestamp for reference
https://youtube.com/watch?v=fkqoJjy6wvo&t=687
I'm trying to find an older one
Here's an older one, August 2019,a little more pronounced, but not as much as I remember
https://youtube.com/watch?v=mzBEEj4oUew&t=2054
/the pic ceasar sent seem like the king has a halo around his head?
Halo similar to,, the anubis mask's...
O-oh my god
Graveyard as a dumping site.....
Krills rising from those light drained stuff?
could someone link the old elder cutscenes? I can't seem to find them
red crystal may be the fragment of the ark
@willow shoal it is, it suppose to be what left from the ark after it explodes.
you summoned me
i saw this picture once, that was published by tgc long time ago
where they explain the timeline
i'm not sure if is canon, but it makes a lot of sence to me
you summoned me
@willow shoal haha
Is there a compilation of all the lore that is considered canon somewhere?
check the pings
Forgive me, I'm very new to discord. Pings?
yea, each channel has its pings
Canon Lore confirmed by TGC
This is everything we know for certain about Sky, nearly everything else is conjecture.
If there’s anything I’m missing ping me and I can add it.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/10ZWJRGiJSrIXgDvJ4pST61moZbVB_hBExUjOaF-pmOE
Awesome! Thanks!
Ah thanks.
so my spelling is still poor
yea, each channel has its pings
@willow shoal So, do you now if this is canon? https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/632004389137154048/762416084388151306/SPOILER_133b_Sky.jpg
I noticed before that there were gonna be turrets in Sky
So, do you now if this is canon? https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/632004389137154048/762416084388151306/SPOILER_133b_Sky.jpg
@untold wind thats the old backstory, it’s no longer canon
none of the concepts are canon unless they’re possibly put in-game or confirmed by devs
you mean the previous fortress?
@untold wind thats the old backstory, it’s no longer canon
none of the concepts are canon unless they’re possibly put in-game or confirmed by devs
@lethal stump :0 , so they just change the backstory?
This:
that’s also concept art, it haven’t appeared in game since the beta
Yeah, it was planned i think
:0 , so they just change the backstory?
that backstory hasn’t been canon for a while, it’s very very old
the current « backstory » has yet to be revealed, if there even is one. the way lore works is the devs give us random threads to weave into our own stories
Or maybe not
Holy crap that old backstory is actually pretty insane
yea, present world gives us evidences to make theories and find out what happened before skykids born
Holy crap that old backstory is actually pretty insane
@ornate olive i know, and it matches everything in my mind, hahaha
that backstory hasn’t been canon for a while, it’s very very old
the current « backstory » has yet to be revealed, if there even is one. the way lore works is the devs give us random threads to weave into our own stories
@lethal stump i get it now, so in every season thet give us clues?
almost
Does trials count as a retcon of the lore?
not every season, but they are working on putting more lore in seasons than before (gratitude, belonging, and rhythm were rather barren for lore)
prophecy is a big exposition dump
but sanc is an exception
I saw a pic that showed trials winning a poll of what players wanted in the game
So it wasn't originally planned?
I think tgc
will concentrate more on seasonal storytelling in the future
tell us back stories and mysteries
they have said as much, yes Johnny
that’s what lorers want
one last thing
each new season brings new lores
butterfly
up to you
||Prairie Elder’s treasure||
Multi-purposed confetti that you can juice later and turn into diamonds
when we see pots, they most used to store butterfly or light power
That said I kind of wonder what those pots were doing down there in the first place
Where was this again?
Underground Cavern is... Evidently not underground but could it have been a mine of some sort
Oh I see
That said I kind of wonder what those pots were doing down there in the first place
@queen locust i think it's part of the mine
Belonging Secret Cavern
Man I'm missing out
We know from Tearful Light Miner that mines exist
I think they were mining for material to make diamonds out of
and man that was a beautiful block of text XD
Lol I need to fix that text
Well from the door of the vault
Sorry for interrupting
Tis okie XD
Take your time, wed love to hear what you have to say
@queen locust we can find what’s it used to be in Belonging spirit memories
Eden
🔹 Before the Storm came, Eden was once a peaceful realm, which is a castle, a tall big castle.
🔹 In the castle, all of the Elders and People have feast there.
🔹 And inside the castle, there's a big hollow room with 3 big stones inside, the stones are the artifacts that hits Earth before the elders were born. It was known that these stones are meteorites.
🔹 One day, The King was inside that hollow room, then the Stones glows to Red. The stones are also removing dark aura, which then passed to the King, making him evil and corrupt.
🔹 The Castle was slowly corrupting, until it's too late. The castle was locked by dark clouds. The 3 giant stones come together, forming a Red Diamond
🔹 The diamond was knows as the Eye of Eden which causes the Big Strong Storm in Eden, Causing the Castle to collapse. And the stones becomes Darkness, that then turns to Corrupted Stone, which are the Red Stone you see right now. Everyone inside the eden that time, are ||Dead|| , but the spirits are now out of the castle, which then got in the different realms.
🔹 But the small remaining part, the small castle you see the way to orbit was then left floating high above the storm. The castle was the only way to orbit. The Children inside the castle become statues, and their souls we're now know as Winged Lights
🔹 No one was left behind, everyone died. The Elders souls was now separated in different realms. The King hid somewhere in Eden.
There, that's better
wait in one part of the memory two of their friends are trapped in rocks. the question is… isnt the place of the memory essentially a small cave, and the rocks part faces the jellyfish temple?
Hold on Zed- what was that about 3 stones?
The 3 stones are the gigantic diamond in Eden, also known as the Eye
what makes you think it’s 3 ?
Yes but what makes you think that there were three of them that merged into a big diamond
It's cracked in pieces but it fits to be one
If you come closer, you'll see the big crack on the Diamond
Which means it's separated into 3 big pieces
It could also just mean that it's broken
Couldn't it originally have been one then just cracked?
not necessarily three, we don’t see all the sides
In my theory, the Eden Castle that's floating is a part of a giant castle in eden
big explosion destroyed the castle and...
what about the text in the beggining of the game. " But darkness came, and the stars fell..."
upper part of it just floated
does that mean that darkness start way before?
There was probably some infighting or something before they landed in the clouds
The idea of eden being called original sin could attest to that
i think the fallen stars are the trapped souls in eden
I still think the Fallen Stars are referring to the Elders
Well where the stars fall it shows the temples building up
So I would think it's the elders
I think there's a king in eden, because at the End Scene in vault, it shows a Crown for Eden
I think we see the original form of the king in the vault mural
Can I ask something, what realm that has no seasons in it yet?
eden
Vault technically has Lightseekers and the Archives but idk when the Archives were added
yea
Isle - Prophecy
Prairie - Sanctuary
Forest - Belonging
Valley - Rythm
Golden Wasteland - Enchantment
Vault - Lightseekers
Please tell me if I'm wrong
4 floor was added many structures in lightseekers
Valley also belonging
They're kneeling to you
If by King you mean us then there's a possibility lmao
Actually, I'm referring to the finale scene of Seasons
That makes me think that's the realm of each season
i don't think they kneel to us
saved Isle Elder from arthritis
If all 6 realms (not including Eden) has seasons... Does that mean a the next season will be in Eden?
so that's why i think the kneel to him
each realm (6 realm) has its spirit
the same as above
the same as above
the same as above
took place in Wasteland
prairie
isle
Imagine completing seasonal events in E d e n
If all 6 realms (not including Eden) has seasons... Does that mean a the next season will be in Eden?
@tacit coral impossible
Bruh
And the trials in Prophecy are just for Training?
Now that would be interesting
Training for the Eden Season?
Trials are relocated to eden except you lose all your wl if you die
Imagine completing seasonal events in E d e n
@queen locust Krill & Debris &Red Crystal: Welcome guests finishing quests in our home
Is it just me or there's someone kneeling and drinking something in a circular glass?
Nah he's just practicing his juggling
eating an apple
I think the king was some kind of keeper
of course he is
Considering you literally don't see them doing anything at all
taller than 6 times of Skykids
6 skykids isn't exactly a hard height to top XD
time to make pics
But what if, the next season is really in Eden?
Is it just me or there's someone kneeling and drinking something in a circular glass?
@tacit coral That's what i see, like the king holding somthing
an estimated height, 17’4
not canon
mmkay nevermind then XD
Leftovers from beta iirc

yeah that's the old friendship icon from pre-global
Imagine completing seasonal events in E d e n
@queen locust that would be fun![]()
Poor moffs tho
Imagine having ur first season in Eden
Bricky is absolutely fan N°1 of the king
Personally I still don't think we're getting an Eden season- then again we got Prophecy and that's a major deviation from how the seasons came to us so far

/prophecy was after lore chat was created
/i guess someone's been reading this chat
I was vibin' in #cozy-sky-discussion
Same
Lol
I-
silent voices honk and sing, burn away the eden king
Oof nice
omg this channel is dead
ikr
Rip
Anyways, how come there's no water symbol on the checkpoint of the water trial but there's symbols of earth in the spawnpoints of earth trial
And no symbols on air trial checkpoints too
True
which part of gw?
wait what are those statue thingies-
Umm wait lemme find a pic that might help you
okie
Np^^
Remember those pillars are there since when the temple used to be as vault social space
In pre launch beta
Excuse my bad English
I wonder if there’s many connections between trials and colored Light

similar shapes, similar colors
even the similar meanings

Well let's see like this
Water prophet and turtle mask is related.. as turtles lives in water
Earth and spider also sounds good
Bat and wind prophet matches rather than rat and wind
Yup
but lion and fire...?
All are connected
Also, their symbolism (like what Boop said) kinda fits
i wonder if theres anything ||beyond eden||
like after ||orbit and all||
yea but maybe even beyond that? a new realm? im pretty sure theres none but its fun to imagine
same
yep
a season in eden would be cool, but idk how theyd pull it off
After you enter the gate in orbit you just reborn and come to home
A timed guide the light in the flying rocks section
@hushed steeple oh no
After you enter the gate in orbit you just reborn and come to home
@hushed steeple ik
Guys
Do you guys think
Home is actually located near eden?
Because i got a proof of it
Also we seems can see orbit from home as well
/yall the fallen are called shrines
/for some reason
/you know back in light awaits there where full of return shrines in eden
Also it is actually true that skid are the trigger of the ascend
We actually some kind of the lead for ascend
/well, ít'snot like the fallen wants to regular ascend everyday
/we can do other random stuff
Indeed ._.
wait how do we see orbit from home
okay so
i jist wne ede today
eden
and for a reason i have to go offline after i hug the shiny boy
and of course i got teleported back to home

/mhm
its looks like thi
and when im at home chilling (enjoying my capeless self) i noticed
where is this thunder coming from
and then i look at my left
seems like thunders coming from this cloud on the cutscene island
which is remind me, hey, where else we can see thunders?
/ah no need to spoiler tag that
oh right i forgot
yep, storm lock
which got me thinking, does home island located near storm lock?
/ôhhhhhh
or eden mountain
does that mean
the first home space we encounter is an entirely different place?
mmm might be?
but if that the case, why bother to made two version of home islands?
holds

but there are other people in that home too
Then it's most likely the same homespace
also
only this part of the island is bright
behind me is pitch black
i got up here with a help from my friend
But something about going to the stormlock that puts the home space on lock
Hello evreybody
im pretty sure its just game mechanics coz they tell you theres no going back from there
Hi I'm back
/what is it norah
Havent you ever thought whos bones is that
Omg I forgot em skeletons exist
also in this case
isle door isnt opened
/thats a whale bone
There's another homespace island
is that a helmet or a weird skull
Thats a weird skull@wispy cedar
im bad at taking pictures ngl
When you look somewhere beyond
Thats a weird skull@wispy cedar
@meager canyon nice
also eden door looks like this
Maybe the home space when u wake up is a dream
H-how
@bitter shale I think the lights are the trials
I meant how did you
wait, they didnt look colored in game...
Wha-
Is that in beta or somthing
The mask eyes glows on eden door from long ago when u come back home without completing eden
not beta
Oh okay i forgot about that
eyes are telling u that u are a coward for not completing eden
dun dun duuuun
Well i glitched into the closed door and boom there was no red portal as expected
@meager canyon ey, assignment take first xD
Y> eyes are telling u that u are a coward for not completing eden
@meager canyon yes
i need to stop in the middle of ascend to do my assignment la
Hmmmm
Hnmmmnnn
thats one pretty sky
That looks like a dark plant
but only that cloud that ahve thunder
/eden is in that cloud then
the other cloud that literally located next to it didnt have thunder
The way it looks it doesn't look like a natural cloud... May not even be a cloud
then i believe this is orbit, or at least the light of it
that actually makes sense- but why is it so low
since only this part of the island that illumated by it
I think that's the sun bud
We are in the sky so the sun placement is different
U fall like a shooting star from high above after entering the last gate.. so I don't think that light thingy is orbit
When you enter the game
It says that youre in the cloulds
Plus in sky there is a night and day so there has to be a sun
wait what
Flos try to swim on water
no no norah which part of the game that said it
I'm confused
Whwn you first ebter the game with noa accont
No*
i have try it
Umm they fixed it
Wait why is there a ocean in the sky and why so much of it
Wait why is there a ocean in the sky and why so much of ityeah that makes me confused
@meager canyon
No, no wait wait wait, where really is home?
It was long time ago
/what amio
Oh when was that
/pffft hahaha
During rhythm
It was a bug ←_←
oh anyone have that pic of a dev going to the cutscene island
too sad we cant access it again...
Ya
We can tell that all the realms are in one universe BC you can fly through all of them not needing to go home, but where is home?
Its not connected to isle bc you have to take a portal to get there. Is it possible that home is in a different universe?
Or a getaway dream from reality?
i really want to go to there to see the thunder clouds closely
i think home is some kind of a shortcut made to access the realms without any need to transportation
i really want to go to there to see the thunder clouds closely
@bitter shale we can't bro... I tried so many times.. wind wall sucks
Yes but where is it?@bitter shale
Ya u asked
tehre is only speculation for now
WHAT IS HOME
It could all be a dream or in a different universe so maybe nothing there matters
oh anyone have that pic of a dev going to the cutscene island
@bitter shale
ohh thanks for that amio
Np^^
/home is where the heart is
One starting texts says "Home is where the heart is"
@hushed steeple hmmm what dies that mean
Does*
Oh
But seriously if home is a dream nothing there matters
We reside in Megan's heart. :_
First thing we need to understand what sjy kids" are"
i have speculation
what if 'home' was an island where they created a faster way to reach all realms? like, no use of transportation and no waste of time
and whats a better and faster way to go places other than portals?
so they build those portals on a tiny island, and judging by what i have find today i believe they choos a smol island near eden mountain to build those portals
Hm
Sky kids were like angels sent from heaven, ie orbit by megan to the sky world to reunite the elders with their light.
First thing we need to understand what sjy kids" are"
@fringe matrix like anatomy wise? Or like-
