I have a theory i want to share want you guysss. So i think that the prophets from this season are like megabirds messangers. In the first cutscene it says “if only they had listened” i think megabird is waking us and she is talking about the elders, i basically think the king / prince managed to control them and the prophets tried to warn them.

After the king took control the elders decided the prophets where bad and maybe killed them or forced them to hide behind the clouds.

also you know how thatskybrophet says beware the elders? I think maybe thatskybrophet served or serves megan and still thinks the elders are bad after being controlled.

But I've noticed the mask that each elder wears

Excluding the valley twins since their masks arent collectable

That each mask represents something

The isle elder mask looks similar to the boats we see on the murals in isle

And the praires elders mask is suposed to look like the butterfly jars

And for the forest elder I dont know what hers is supposed to be

But I guessed that it supposed to represent the temple since the mask looks like it has layers

And there are multiple doors that lead to the end of forest/pink forest

For wasteland I'm not about that one either

This is getting more interesting... Does that mean the prophecy is about us

When the storm was starting to get stronger the prophets said someone would save them all from the darkness, that someone is us, that someone is the new generation of Sky people, the Skykids basically. But something or someone is preventing us from stopping the storm going on at Eden. It could be the shiny boi we hug before ascending or something else we don't know yet.

"Wake up, child. Bring our lost stars home." (Intro cutscene)
Welp, there you have it. The narrator might be one of the prophets talking to us. They had it planned since day one and knew they were all screwed. The elders then got punished for literally being the reason why all the ancestors died, and fell. To stop the storm, us, the skykids, the new generation, the "someone" that would save them all, have to complete the constellations, summon each Elder and make the storm stop to Eden. We "saved" the Kingdom, but it's too late to fix the realms.

In conclusion: the prophets predicted the coming of the Skykids, told the ancestors they would come to save them, but by then the kingdom would be already destroyed. Now we have to bring back peace and the stars (elders).

[I feel like if we complete all the constellations the storm at Eden will stop, but it's unfair for players who just want the hairs not be able to play the most iconic part of the game]

I think those sideways “kids” are spirits, since they have the sashes around their bodies

Possibly the spirits in the memories of the prophets

I think it’s intriguing that we get a kind of ‘special power’ at the end of each trial - at the end of the water one we get to be totally tubular 🏄‍♂️ and at the end of the earth trial it’s like bastion where the ground forms around our feet... I wonder if that’s a remnant of the magic power of the prophets, if they even had such a power

The prophets/spirits are found in the cave of prophecy, meaning they must've died there. The cave was previously blocked by a giant rock as well as clouds, preventing any sort of way in or out. What caused that rock to cover the cave I'm not sure, but the clouds then covered it up over time (I assume)

So my theory is:
Isle: A small town a place that civilization started got attacked by krills hence the holes.

Prarie: Sort of got damaged hence the BIG holes and the sudden stop of the bell towers.

Forest didn't get attack but the krills tried to but knocked trees instead so they retreated cuz the trees are close together.

Valley: Again. they retreated into fear because of the warriors, and some warriors led them to Golden Valleys (Golden Wasteland)
Wasteland: Krills got mad and rampaged everything destroying homes,destroying giants.

Eden: Attacked it even more than Golden Valleys. (I posted this before but I don't think other people have seen it before)
