New Theory that I have that is completely unrelated to the discussion rn: Why are we always meditating to get to new places? In order to resume our adventure we meditate on the home portal, in order to leave we meditate once more to go home. Are we actually moving to different areas or is everything we experience just happening in our skykid's head while we meditate at home?

By "look alike" I mean they both kinda have a head covering, but other than that they don't really have a lot of similarities.

Where does darkness originate from in Sky world? Not kingdom, but world. The Elders are the "fallen stars" and they fell because "they didn't listen" so it's fair to assume that darkness may have existed before they made their kingdom in the clouds aka darkness might have existed even in Orbit.

What if is the "rebel" being, a creature above the other Elders in Orbit, rebelled against Megan and he was casted away? The perfect being that developed pride in Sky paradise (aka Orbit.) Like the original "rebel" that "invented" darkness opposed to Megan's light. cough Aleph cough. So he corrupted the other Elders. He brought them with him in the clouds and proclaimed himself the leader, the king of the greatest realms of them all with the other Elders, his banished-from-Paradise kinship, to lead what was left of the kingdom.
I think we all know where this is going....
Anyways, they built the civilization, used its resources (magic, light creatures, nature, etc.) and proclaimed themselves as the leaders over the locals (the spirits).
Then, in an urge to seek revenge for his banishment he wanted to take the Sky realm to the next level via technology which only turned out to be the kigndom's downfall (and his death).
Then skykids came along...

Well, the diamonds are the equivalent of technology in Sky. They fly boats, open doors, store knowledge, and so on. These diamonds were the common ones.
Pipes and all the rest of stuff we see in Prairie, Forest, Wasteland and Eden are just pieces of technology, the factories and all the other annexes used to create diamonds.
The huge diamond in Eden might be a result of the King's wish for revenge to Megan as I previously mentioned in my theory. Maybe I'm wrong, he wanted to improve Sky and he's not the fallen guy, just a king. Whatever the reason, it's almost certain that the Eden diamond it's the cause of Sky kingdom's fall.

After the Prophecy update the changed textures and lighting make me wonder about that.
I know there was an Ice Rink in HomeSpace too, but I mean, could the seasonal changes in climate be visible in lights too.
For the example the underwater lake is much brighter now, as if it could be used as a solar calendar which is hit more by sunshines in a certain period of the year?
Can anyone confirm if this feature was the same an year ago?

and the ice rink could be related to the fact the season’s original name was « winter season »

As for why they’re praying, I assume it’s because their native religion regards stars as deities or something like that

But it looks similar to the same symbols during the intro cut scene
That are on each kingdom
So I'm suggesting that those praying people were collecting things or "stars" that fell from the kingdoms
