So the megabird does not exist and is only a hypothetical deity conjured by the king, to create a construct for the ancestors to believe in. He likely did this to extend his realm and acceptance as the divine messenger and prophet, this likely occurred prior to the fall of the stars, where he persuaded the elders to descend to construct his kingdom. Over time no one remembers the past and sees the megabird as the truth, even the king to an extent grew mad with power as he conceived the element of darkstone, he attempted to consume/worship its energy/power, the cascade resulted in eden. Who is the narrator then, well i dont know, i would like to think that they are spirits of the original rebellion, those who didnt listen to the king

If you havenāt then itās about a universe millions of years into the future where human beings have been separated into three different entities, Soul, Bone, and Flesh
And I have a feeling the Sky universe is millions of years into the future as well because thereās a theory on the human world being āfloodedā. Human beings have also evolved. The bones and flesh separated and left the skykid (aka the soul)
Since the soul is pretty unstable without a base (the skykid āclayā body) They use that body as the āboneā for support
I also think the elders+ancestors are souls as well
Because souls cannot āreproduceā. They are often recycled after the base has been crushed to bits in Eden.
I also think the base wears the soul hence why we canāt see our cape shadows.
I also think the soul is the ālightā that surrounds the base and itās what our personality is.

I used to think this pipe has a strainer (the cagelikething down) which trapped/filtered the small shards of wasted power diamonds so that they're able to collect later. But the only thing that contradicts this thought is isle also has something similar

The first story doodles probs show the origin of how they were able to make the ship / fly. But they also drew what happened to them and why they fell in that place while they were traveling (struck by lightning)

my personal theory is:
The elders together created a 'king figure' to rule the world they fell in, but isle elder warned them (in the intro vid someone says 'but they did not listen'). so im thinking that they didnt listen to isle's warning and so 'demoted' him from his ruling position, which might explain why his mask is broken and why his face isnt engraved on the door (which is also why the twins split to compensate for his position)
Edit: also why i think 'king' doesnt exist as a person of his own and was created was due to the 
on top of eden door at home which is hollow (like all the other king symbols), the elders faces are filled and not hollow.
