i believe the whole kingdom was under constant change, especially with an industrial and technological revolution, that would lead to different kinds of buildings being made and needed. so, as things change, the kingdom would have changed as well
there’s not necessarily any proof of this happening, I just think that by extrapolating the things i’ve learnt about the development of civilizations, this is how it might’ve gone

I think it Is safe to assume since they mention an amphitheater and not a colosseum... that is supposed to be the end of the race.... that since we have a colosseum that end the race in game that the concept was similar or only changed as much as the difference between a colosseum and amphitheater for theory crafting purposes ?

The prince leads his people. And another person leads their people (or there is no “defined” leader, and the prince goes around fighting against those who oppose his claim to rule over ALL the people) he then crowns himself king after he has destroyed all opponents to his “throne” or right to rule

Usually the winners of battles dictate the history, and unfortunately some civilizations are wiped from the history books due to the cruel winner’s burning their entire civilizations to the ground, writing them out of history. It’s probable that there was an opposing side but all mention (save for the valley games) have been stifled by the prince turned king

Aight so history time for architecture and cultural influences. Previously I mentioned my observations on that valley seemed to be more ruined compared to the other cities. An armarillio is a representation of a solar system. There are 5 (4 smaller ones plus the gigantic center one) which might represent the constellation of the elders but it is missing 2. Either wasteland/vault because they haven’t been built yet, or the dawn/prairie signifying a separation from that older civilization? Maybe?

@compact olive it is not about finding the horizon, it is about measuring distances based on the position of important stars in the sky in relation to the horizon. It was used a lot during the great navigations. It mesures the angle of a star, you and the horizon line and with that you are able to calculate distances if I am not mistaken.

In my theory, you know what a crab sounds like when it’s attacking/chasing?
