Of course next two episodes that's now failing and you can see they are very stressed/upset it's all beginning to fail. I actually don’t think so. We’re told that things aren’t good. That Darkness is everywhere and closing in. We see people are sick and struggling everywhere, and we see multiple times that the Light Shield is flickering and failing. Things being ‘good’ is people making the best of a bad situation. Ep/part 3 is just the inevitable of what was going to happen.
Like, the storm outside the boundaries looks threatening as all hehh, kids would definitely put together that it would be very bad for the Light Shield to break. And episode 3 is just showing the natural consequence of the action. Idk if I’m making sense anymore I’m tired lol

They can take out multiple people at a time, they fly faster, and they charge attack immediately.

After the apocalypse, the krills spent 500 years doing nothing, instead of hunting to survive.

hey so the darkstone turret things seemed to lure the krill away when turned on, keeping them from attacking or somehow pacifying them. But how does that fit with the wasteland temple cutscene when we enter by lighting the stone and the krill get summoned as if drawn to it? And in aurora, we see that at least during the fight between people and light creatures (which, i don't know is before or after this season on the timeline?) it looks as if people died trying to activate it in some desperate measure.

Me personally he had no damn reason to go THAT overboard, and he survived the mental space tests that were the trials to gain elemental powers

Something also about that crown/mask is that it has darkstone embedded in it, it was most definitely draining his light and causing some sort of delirious behavior that forced him to hoard light

It wasnt just narcissism or ego, he was genuinely doing insane

Once the elders turned against him one at a time (first tsadi and finally the twins) the shattering that occurred from his obsessive hoarding took the elders down with him, almost like “if you’re not gonna help me then die”

Another part of me wonders if he feels secret hatred towards the elders for making him endure the trials as a kid (Aleph) but that may not be the main focus

So let me get this straight... the ancestors harvested life force from the animals in order to use it as fuel (i.e. light) for the rhomboid crystals.

still, in the dawn ember scene in one of the trailers, the material seems comparable to the regular stone tools in the same frame (see the stone bowl), knowing the movie animation style, I think it's corresponding to the regular rocks used for every day tools

that raises a good point-- were the manatees kept intentionally as a store of light, or were they just any sort of light source that the king's army would have taken use of, and would have had a seperate purpose?
