Dawn elder is not in the eden door sculpture and we never get dailies in Isle? What's the correlation here?

The general consensus is that something happened with Isle, and although we don’t know the specifics yet due to not much evidence, the most common guess is that they fell out with everyone else protesting the use of darkstone and seceded or were exiled

There’s a piece of concept that says Dawn lost favor among the other Elders. It’s possible when the Eden gate was constructed, the Elders didn’t confer with Dawn. Or if they did, Dawn refused to help.

I think we can see that dawn is more injured in the fact that it cannot support a lot of life.. only birds, and maybe butterflies.. with plants only visible at the areas near elder temple

I believe the futility we face in Eden is one of skykids' own making. Whatever skykids were originally supposed to do in Eden is up to debate, yet they aren't strong enough to make it far without dying. Skykids could just buff themselves up with light and charge on past their fellow peers' corpses to get to the center, but they have such a love for each other that they can't help but give up their own light to save their petrified friends, weakening themselves so they will ultimately succumb to the darkness in the point of no return. This leaves more bodies for other skykids to save, weakening themselves in turn, dying, and sustaining the cycle.

We save them but then some other skids have to die to save us, who then need to be saved. It’s a self-sustaining cycle. Even if you got one skykid to save everyone in stormlock, someone has to die to save them.

Okay listen, I don’t know much about Sky’s lore so this is just a hypothesis and not a theory, but I’m thinking that the statement of the prince being beyond saving can maybe be taken in a different way. Like, lets say things spiraled out of control, darkness started affecting the kingdom and he tried to save it alone, but in the process, ended up getting fragmented (?)

Like, I think that maybe whatever was left of the prince became Sky kids. The reason why Sky kids need each other is because they’re literally part of a whole. It kinda feels a little bit like how in Orbit, Megabird is an entity comprised of several different birds.
And the reason why we’re stuck in a cycle is to continuously pass on the Prince’s wish to help the land.

The one problem with counting the cubes are that this would only give us skykids the amount of lanterns in the game, not the true count of what vault would have (other than it being a lot of memory cubes).

This is a similar issue in the game when it comes to how many actual building there are in Valley, or what the true citadel would look like had there not been any limitations in the game.

TGC's games have been known to have a specific visual style in their games. One that is partially influence by the limitations of the game, the game's mechanics and the visual story telling.
Looking at Journey, the developers put a lot of thought into the design of the player character and how they would interact with the levels. This was why the traveller is without arms, as the devs did not want players to think they can climb the walls or attacking other players. Which in turn made the cape more prominent in the design and placed emphasis on its use in the game (to fly and connect with fellow creatures and players).

This simplistic approach carried over into Sky with the characters and realms having a balance between simple design and yet have details where they matter.
This may be more likely than not the very reason why everything has the same level of details (such as some of the character having fingers).
Therefore, while a skykid may not have a visible mouth that opens. The fact they can drink liquid, eat, call out or supposedly speak (implied via the texting feature for communication); all indicate that a skykid may have a mouth, although the game may not show it.
This is a similar matter when it comes to skykids having eyes, yet when looking at a maskless skykid, the eyes are closed, however other instances with masks do show glowing eyes (such as the warrior mask with eyes behind the mask more visible).

One does not have to go into gruesome detail on the questionable anatomy of a skykid. Although, one can debate on things such as mouths, ears, nose, hair, skin, nails etc as a general observation to what skykid could be. Rather than metaphorically dissecting them

The Vault itself is most likely all underground (except for starlight desert, which borders the mountain and has a tunnel leading to it)

Going off Vol's AI Spirits Theory (which I absolutely adore), perhaps there's no music because the AI aren't real/weren't programmed to be able to sing. They aren't a part of the light, just crude imitations of its sentience. And so they're silent

Just a thought but what if spirits like Saluting Protector, Stretching lamplighter ect. are just titles, and like when spirits are born their giving a normal everyday name but at a certain age either they or someone else in higher power gives them their title, I like to think it’s the first one because I don’t think Hiking grouch for example would enjoy being known as a grouch
