PNR easy for me last night, 61 of 63 statues, 164 entry, lost ab 25ish to frame drops

Advice for PNR:

• bring recharge pots (minimum of 2)
• sit at the shrines to recharge quicker (especially if you're a tall skid), it also helps avoid shards as well
• the exposed shrine in stage 2, it's easiest if you move side to side of the shrine to recharge without being struck by rocks
• run to a shrine, light it, then go grab the statues
• take your time and analyse the red lights on the ground indicating heavy shard falls

Changes: elder/king Jellyfish OOB trick is patched

I believe it's this shrine that is a huge issue regarding shards, go side to side at this one in stage 2, shards push you around so it can be an issue if you sit at this to recharge faster

First time doing eden with the new update and it wasn't too bad. My only complaint would probably be that the crawling speed is a bit too slow. Went in with 149 WL and lit up 59 statues and got 14 AC overall, which is usually what I get every eden run I do, but it definitely took longer than when I did it before the update was released.

I am a moth, but I've explored pretty much every map and trials, except the Eye of Eden. I have 71 WL only.
Is it enough to survive?

if it's your first time go when you feel ready to, so that the experience is more engaging and emotional

You haven't gotten all the wings, you're missing seaosnal area winged light. Without doing eden, the max you can get is 95ish? You get 10 in eden

Eden you don't exactly need to go and get all the statues but the more statues you light, the better AC reward you get, which you need for the likes of resize potions, Ascending spirits for more winged light etc

aight so my input on new eden change. I went in with 173 winglight (max winglight i can get rn) and died just at the end of the sand dunes part. So those last 3 statues will prolly never be possible to get.

i also noticed, that i lost more than one winglight at a time, EVEN though i got near zero. I think that needs to be adjusted. I get losing a ton of winglight at once when you have 173, etc, but bruh, shouldn't it have lessened down when you're at a lower number? idk man. the winglight vanished so fast x_x

i prolly could've gotten further if i was alone, cause i risked my winglight to help the moff when they got hit

I wouldn't call it impossible, it's still being tested/experimented with since it looks really rng at times. I only missed the very last statue with 160 something and I've seen some say they got every single one

It’s not impossible but it’s certainly a lot of work just to get all the statues, the crawling feature is fine but you HAVE to make sure you don’t get hit at all. Like you have to be super careful

Well, what they've done is change eden in a way that the hits take a lot more damage. But they also released this at the same time as the crawling. They didn't really test that middle ground of a changed eden with the previous damage system

buff performance moth reporting in! (we both started on 24/4/22)
i went to eden as chibi with my tall friend (size 2) that i had warp with, our wl count are 157(my max) and his 102 (not max but he lazy). the whole trip took 1 hour, about 20 mins longer than usual. im leading with prior knowledge of crawling/new eden from beta, i brought fire brazier, and a pnr map (said map:||https://twitter.com/Lusciniaakahige/status/1542547826491609090/photo/2||)

in the 1st map, i chibi fell past the 5 light gate, took the safe no boulder path then climbed up, was very slightly harder due to wind but okay otherwise.
in the 2nd map, watched the 2 entrance cutscenes, chibi fell and flew into the pnr cave as usual. friend retrieved wl just fine, same for tall me (size 3) after the run.

in pnr, we got all statues before the last lantern/continuous rock rain. i didnt get downed until that point, but my friend crawled 4 times; once from wrong timing at occasional rock rain, immediately warped back to me), 3 times from being pushed and hit by rocks while staying at the last lantern for around 4 mins (he didnt move much until bonked lol), i walked over to relight. in total he mustve lost 10-20wl, that last lantern is very 💀 for tall skids lmao.

i was able to reach the 3rd last statue after the sand dunes before dying, but i missed 2 other statues. getting 59/63 statues; 14.75 ac. i did try 1 recharge potion during it but not behind cover and immediately wasted it. he reached the sand dunes but couldnt get the last 4 (idk which else he missed), got 12 ac so 48/63 statues.

ending thoughts: although i could get all statues with 150+wl before and it was less time consuming, we like new eden and its structured better (with at least 1 friend). though we're never going to eden solo ever again.

conclusion: just go to new eden with a friend u unlocked warp with, a map, more pain tolerance, more time, and it'll be fine. gl if you dont have a friend or youre a moth tho.

Lost 2 winged lights in the process of helping an army of moths. In the end all but one went in. After trying encouraging this moth with their friend, their friend went in and the moth that refused to go in went home and cried.

I tried to comfort them, but I lost them as I looked away for a minute.

I'm like average size and I don't usually have too much trouble in Eden, so I think that's probably fine. Too tall and too short can both have some drawbacks if you're not as comfortable with the controls (chibis can get stuck and blown back more easily, tall can be more exposed to the rocks in some spots)

Once I reached the statues, I enjoyed the message about sacrificing myself to let the others go. I am excited to gather my light again and make my way to the top once more. I was safe at cave after got hit by krill when was taken safely by our leader. I couldn't be a hero before muchless now.

I picked 1 up then the cave on outside it, etc gave me back 1 so I went in the eye w/142 I think. Cuz wb from going to Eden, TS, wb from regular spirits I finished getting from few Edens ago or like 2 b4 that one then the update run through, plus Eden caves made it 143. I can't wait till have 145. Maybe with the new TS ones this month I will get it.

Exactly. The most I ever got was 12 like 2 or so ones ago. The rest on my 1st time was 4 or 7, not sure, & now 9. Last was 12 & most ever. I had 5 once I think. Never 11 or 15 like I had hoped. I have 57 saved now. I have only been a few times to it since I came back to Sky in Feb. I was only on last yr from June till July. I left in August. I died once in Forrest I think cuz new then taken to Eden. I only went once b4 update. Glad I did. I was ok at it. The pipes took me forever to not fall,, etc I kept teleporting hom & back & almost could have gotten hit at krill. I had to hide behind rocks & try to go fast to the pipes. I'm sad I never got to learn to do it on my own some more or practice to get better at that spot. After that is not so bad except for the wl cane dragon, blwhich is doable, bit now it's totally or even more horrible. More brulltal. The most brutal it was pretty much b4, but now it harder if u get hit.

Just went through the point of no return and am ascending now with a friend. Let me just say my own thoughts:

This new Eden felt more easy than the actual old one that I struggled a bit with.

There was an indication of where the endless rock rain began.

There was good cover, however I wasted an instant recharge potion or two to be instantly extinguished, so I felt scammed there. I feel the need to add invisibility frames for 3 seconds at least.

Crawling was painful but more emotional to see, and I am going to see how much AC I earned now.

I got 14 ascended candles.

Just finished an Eden run and I’m 😭 Went in with almost 120 wl and got 9 ascended candles. I definitely lost around 20 wl on that slope before the point of no return alone. I like the visuals of the crawling with the blue crystals but slfjrksjsjfh it’s so SLOWWW. That slope kept going dark and I couldn’t see myself or my dropped wing bits.

I think this is just a bug where sometimes you can find the abyss king krill model chilling in the water way out. I've seen it a few times on tiktok

Make very short bursts and have patience in timing. Don't try to sprint all the way to the next statue if there's a rock to take shelter along the way. If you memorize the timing between rock showers and wait at every rock that can shield you, them you should be losing less WL that way even if it takes longer.

My strategy right now is my first Eden run of the week i don't give light until the endless rock rain so that i can get every statue in that area, and then i return later to get the ones outside endless rock rain. It takes me awhile but i typically only get hit once or twice before reaching endless rain.

If done correctly, you can fly under the door, through the barrier. Go in Eden and you'll be put back in Eden's first main door.

You can no longer chibi fall there. It's possible but the water underneath will send you back up. It has something to do with the diving feature and how it prevents you from staying underneath the terrain in that specific area. Happened right after the diving feature was implemented. If you're trying to exit pnr, find a slop on top of the eden gates, even the tiniest one will work if you position yourself right
