The latest patch finally made Eden bearable after weeks of being such a tedious and infuriating task! I'm so happy that I can resume my Eden runs with friends.

Reset means statues reset once a week, unlike candles that reset daily. You would be wasting it if you already went this week, and you've got the max statues. I would say to wait for tomorrow's reset, since there's no way to check if you've done it. BUT reset day doesn't mean you need to do it tomorrow. You can go check now, take your time with re-collecting wl and do eden somewhere next week before the next-next reset

It would depend on your wl count. You can go multiple times if you don't have enough wl for one full run. Afaik some skip all the statues in the first area, they go to the endless rain and use all wl to get them, and then reborn. They come back to collect the ones in the area before endless rain, and reborn again. Takes a bit longer than doing it in full run but not everyone can and that's okay
I would say you can get all with 120 wl? I'm not entirely sure, before all the bugs you didn't need so many wl to get all statues

But not unusual for someone to get all in the first run, eventually you will be able to with wing buffs

You can look for wl ubers in #looking-for-group-live And there are plenty of full guides on yt^^ Right now you can have max 102 from the realms, including orbit wl. With wing buffs, from both regular spirits and travelling spirits, the max is 178 iirc, 11 wedges/wings

Today I ubered a friend through Eden so they could get Forest Elder hair, and I rocked it. (I like to think that doing Difficult Eden for a month made me better at it in general.) Also, this was my first time running through Eden with someone else. It was a really nice and fun experience.

Hmm. Question, before I go on my second Eden trip: do I have to give my winged light to the spirits to get the ascended candles or can I just run directly into the rock rain and die to get them

You can use the ascended candles that you earn from saving the statues to purchase wing buffs from the regular spirits and traveling spirits, and those wing buffs are collected in Orbit before you're reborn. This allows you to start off with some winged lights in your cape already

Yes you have to give winged lights to the statues to get AC. You get 0.25 candles per statue that you save, for a max of 15.75 AC per week if you save all 63 statues

15.75 should be the max amount of AC that you can get per week, if you manage to give winged lights to each of the 63 statues. It can be done in one go, but depending on how many winged lights you start out with, it can also take multiple runs to get them all before it resets again

With the slow walking bug, I could get all statues with 145ish wl, now I've 152 and couldn't get the last three😐🤏☕ This is definitely not the same as before all the Eden bugs😭🤚 I can't say it's better considering 150wl might not be enough, but I did lose a couple of before the endless rain so it could've been that. Looks like at least 140-150wl might be the requirement to get all still?

I entered with 165 WL and had 25 to spare after getting all statues.

I also entered with 103 WL and only missed the last 3 statues. The scaling they did was pretty decent. It could have some extra tweaking though depending on their end goal of the scaling damage.

This update was the first update to hit live where the rocks can eject up to 5 WL at a time. Seems it scales depending on your wing buffs and your WL total upon entering PNR.

Would need some more testing but that is what it seemed like when testing with an account with 64 WB and one with 20 WB (me and a new friend I brought to the game a few weeks ago)

Both of us entered with 103 WL, but I got more damage from the rocks compared to them. Could be coincidence, so I'll try testing more later in the week.

With the latest update, there are no bugs in Eden. There might be a few like getting yeeted above the pnr map, but that seems to be the only one still happening. That's easily fixed by restarting Sky^^ The rate of losing wl is faster tho now, and is still recommended not to jump as it'll only keep knocking you over. All in all I think it's worth going, none of the bugs stop you from saving statues and getting ac:)

So i just went to eden and i don't know if it's bug (i hope it is) but boy, it was crazy
The rock in the last area went completely nuts. Each rock that hits me strips at least 6 stars from me and they hit me continuously. Even when i take cover and in front of fire source, they still managed to hit me and strips 4 stars. This is not only once or twice, but everytime i take cover. Even with 172 stars, i can't even reach halfway the area. It was like raining stars everywhere. I was so panicked that i can't even took pict, let alone video

You don't get extra AC, double checked as well. First time hearing about that Sounds like one of the myths. Max AC is 15.75. It's possible to get 16 if you have 0.25 left over from your previous run. Or say you get 15.50 and have 0.50 leftover from last week, can get 16 that way. No extra AC in orbit

You can jump and run again, but now it's not recommended to jump as how much wl you lose seemed to have increased in the endless rain. Jumping will knock you over constantly. I was able to get all statues with 145 with slow walking, I couldn't get the last 3 with the update with 152 wl Someone had more I believe and couldn't get all either

thanks for the response, this seems to be quite a pickle prior to all this i was able to get all with less than 150 and have enough wings to make and entire trip from the end back to the start of the map to check statues. I hope the changes isn't a response to the fact people have so many wings now

I believe that's the reason I don't really remember where people got that from, but chances that so many wings available now is the cause of it. Before all the bugs, people with loads of wl were left to fry their skykid at the end of pnr for quite a while. I think it should be clear that their attempt at upping eden difficulty isn't working tho😭😭 It might be helping vets, but it's kinda hell for moths or low wl players. An option to discard all wl sounds like a better idea

I noticed in my last Eden run that I could walk faster both in the last area (constant rock rain) and in the void after you die (I could jump-walk). It’s strange because until now, I only could walk at a very slow pace, making it impossible to finish a full Eden run despite having plenty of winged lights in stock.

This time, it was my 5th (or 6th?) Eden run in total and since I play on switch and we had an update lately, I was wondering if it was a patched bug (because I saw videos about Eden runs and everyone seemed to be able to walk fast in these areas) or an actual gameplay feature.

If it’s a feature, i find that it’s a very good way to show how your sky kid is getting used to this whole cycle the more you make them go through it

I was going through eden today, and there were some statues that were glitching in and out if the player’s view entirely. Like, they turned totally invisible- has this happened to anyone else?

i noticed last time i went through eden (just before reset) that if you use the overhead camera angle on switch in certan areas objects will actually 'unload'
so it could have been a camera angle goof. i see them occasionally
the item is within render distance, but the camera angle tricks the game into thinking it isn't "visible" so it unloads it

fast recharge spell/instant recharge, bring a torch or friend, aim for lantern, less jump, keep track of the rain pattern

but this is mine, i don't expect everyone to do the same, which is okay

Maybe if they made it to where walking is a safer way to keep your light = less consequences

And that jumping will increase the risk of losing 4WL

Ah yes rocks hit a bit harder now especially if you have a lot of wings entering the rain. I don’t think it always take away 4 wings tho, when I have about less than 50, I get hit but only lose one by one, not 4 in a row like when I have 100+ early on 😂 You just need to watch out and be more careful early stage so you don’t lose so many wings at the beginning. At the rain area, it was taking more but definitely slow down when your wings count goes down as well. I think it helps veteran players to die faster this way, rather than waiting for awhile to die like it used to be.

The main gripe I had with the last update was I couldn’t run, and I haven’t checked to see if that’s fixed, but I assume it is if jump is. If you run in a sort of zig-zag pattern, you should only lose one or two lights when the rain hits you, and you’re less likely to get knocked down. It’s more time consuming, but the statues past the second stage are already set up so you can zig-zag. Just a tip for people who need a different strategy

while in Eden earlier this evening a sky kid got spotted by a Krill and then the Krill clipped through the crab tunnel area and it knocked into me and all my light disappeared but thankfully I recharged by the lantern. I didn't even know that could happen wow.

With the "Harder Eden" I could clear in 2 tries usually, with this, I thought I was going to clear in one, and then I lost 30 light getting to the last statue. Maybe an over statement, but when you fall down then get up only to fall down it doesn't seem challenging, just frustrating.

The statues are already set up to encourage a zig-zag pattern, so I just do it lol. I also try not to take people with me to statues, since your hit box (I guess?) is bigger, especially if you’re determined to stick together

yes and that’s intended i believe because so many people with high wing power complained that it took too long for them to die. If you have 100+ entering rain area, I don’t think you would have too much trouble getting all the statues there. For newer players, if they are more careful at the beginning, they wouldn’t lose so much, so that they still have decent amount of wings for the final rain.

Apparently, the more WL you have the more the rock rain sheds off of you. I've noticed that it reduces to only losing 1 when youre in the 50-40ish threshold
