Anyone here notice that when you pass through eye of eden in the part where the rain never stops, when we have to run there without wings the kid start to walk very slowly. if you’re a blue light, then someone else is in there with you and needs to die for you both to move on. If you’re just stuck in a certain angle, maybe restart? If you respawned at the beginning, that’s the death loop bug

I just did an Eden speedrun and BOY IT SUCKS SO BAD NOW. They added a new animation for when the kid loses light, they just limp like an injured dog. So when you're in the storm, the animation is never ending because it slows you down. GOOD LUCK GETTING ALL 63 STATUES BECAUSE YOU'LL NEVER SAVE THEM ALL EVEN WITH 1 MILLION WINGED LIGHT. I think they were going for a more tense eden (perhaps more similar in control to the end of journey?) but in practice it’s a lot more frustrating and less fair, especially for new players, but I haven’t heard anyone say anything good about it yet, I think limiting movement in a part that’s already tricky enough (especially for new players) causes more bad than good

Welcome to the server! If you exit then reopen the game while in the pnr, your Home will be dark and stormy and you will have to use the return shrine to go back to pnr. I’m unsure exactly where it’ll take you, but you will be back in the stormy part. Your wings won’t return but your light may be recharged yes, and I think the statues you lit will stay lit ^^

yeah, basically what conj said - if you've already gone past PNR it'll drop you in where you were previously, doing pretty much exactly what you were doing previously

i haven't been disconnected before the permanent rock rain, but if you've made it past that point you'll be dropped in right in front of it next to that fountain light thingy i forget what they're called

I do recommend for people to go through Eden with 0 shortcuts on their first run, but there is an oob shortcut that avoids the entire area before pnr. Otherwise there's really nothing to be worried about^^ It's all really part of experience and you won't regret finishing it at least once without shortcuts 👁️ 👁️ Maybe even ask in #looking-for-group-live for someone to come with you, or a friend. If you do want the oob shortcut tho, feel free to lmk 🏃‍♂️

This one has been alive for quite a while as far as ik. (This might be a long one mb) Jump through the first crack when you enter the 2nd section(skip the 2 cutscenes first to avoid triggering them mid flying) Can also chibi fall near the crack. Fly up and towards the clouds, use them to recharge. From this point on, you can do it in multiple different ways. What I do is fly up, the higher the better to avoid any wind walls. Fly across towards the birds to be on the right side of eden. Fly forward and continue to use the clouds until you see a hole at the bottom of the clouds. Sometimes you'll see a yellow light depending on the angle you're flying. There will be water and rocks, drop into the water and then fly up the rocks until you reach a flat surface. Walk forward until pnr pop up and press x twice to tp to the wl tunnel.

A good tip is don't land too far at the rocks🧍 You can accidentally skip the pnr pop up and enter pnr unintentionally (unless you're only there for pnr) 👨‍🦯

Right side method is safer in terms of not getting krilled and left side is when you want to grab wl before approaching the pop up area.

Yeah but with the wind walls, and the wind walls being worse with the recent update- I think it's best to teleport to the tunnel first. You can just walk back to get all the wl, and gently walk down to the first wl to avoid getting blown off🏃

Oh so what I do to avoid wind walls go behind and above the tunnel in that castle area. Then I just jump into the entrance.

I got through each time, but only after getting extremely aggravated and stuck between a red rock and a normal rock because of the wind and losing about 20 wings before realizing I could go to home and back to unstick myself

does anyone else feel like the WL restriction for eden should be increased at least a little? maybe to at least 30 WL or something? because i just took a moth through and it went so horribly they had basically nothing left to give to the statues after (even with the bonus WLs in the hallway, if anything those just put them back at 20 WL) and i felt so so bad, but at the same time i've noticed a lot of people think 20 WL for eden is the standard and not the bare minimum D:

TGC staff are humans after all^^ While they can and probably do check for bugs and glitches themselves, as well as having Beta for the extra help, they're bound to miss some things. It's understandable to be upset at them but they will make mistakes.:) You can help and possibly prevent similar bugs by reporting them and sending feedback just like they encourage to do so

"Little bit of wind" :s last time I went I barely could move as I felt I was walking on a wall... it wasn't like that before. Felt like a bug of sorts.

No, you get hit by rocks you are tumbled to the ground. If you lose all your light the character moves a bit slower. It also doesn't help the case if there is wind pushing you or you are walking on water

To move faster I usually spam jump to safety, but I advice caution cause depending on where you are, if wind gets you it can push you way back losing lots of progress

Yupp, the wind is stronger since this update, it was already suggested you don't even attempt jumping like we would somewhat used to if you're alright being pushed back further down

I'd say ac is pretty important in early game. You can buy wing buffs that give you more wl, which also unlocks more cosmetics and emote levels in the regular constellation. By finishing constellations, you unlock elder hairs that cost ascended candles and you can only buy them in orbit. Wing buffs are permanent and also only collectable in orbit. You'd probably want to get them all on first run of that week so you don't have to lose all your wl and re-collect them more than once a week. You can read the eden guide on wiki random that explains everything about Eden^^

Wing buffs are the red locks with wings you find on the constellation, they block further cosmetics and emote levels until you buy it. Each wing buff gives you 1 permanent wl. The current max wl count is 174. 99 from realms and rest are from travelling spirits and constellations. More wl = More wedges(the yellow lines at the top of your screen) and more wl to give to the statues.

I’m not entirely sure if it’s what everyone means, but after the latest update, Eden has been behaving oddly. The wind is unnaturally strong in some sections before pnr, and after pnr, in the part with the contact rain of rocks you can’t jump or run anymore.

I might get why the devs want to make the game harder because skykids with 120+ winged light can get to all the statues with little to now issues. But doing that makes it harder all across the board.
Maybe add a passage for skykids to explore and find murals in there might be of more use than handicapping skykids in the worst place for them to start limping around.

There is making the game more interesting because players make it through as they improve and adapt to the game. And there is taking the same obstacle the players are used to and pushed against and making it 10 time harder for them, a 100 times harder for a novice player that not only knows how to get through, but also have a harder time getting through.
Mark my words, if an update comes out the difficulty is turned back to where it was, the skykids will get through it even quicker and easier now.

Sounds epic, I was doing eden with a friend, and we agreed to close the game if we get caught. We went through that way together before, but this time I couldn't join her again. Probably another part of the update.

If anyone needs a tip though, I got to the tunnel by preventing my kid from jumping or even hopping. If you as much as hop up a step you’ll be blown back or not progress. So find places with smaller steps and try your best to walk slowly enough that you won’t hop or jump up them :/ It took me forever but at least I managed....

You can go to Eden as many times as you want but keep in mind the reason there are less statues is because you already lit them and will have to wait for all 63 to come back next Sunday

More WLs equals better results; especially now with the speed occuring in Eden if you would need ACs. If it's your first time, then I wouldn't worry so much about it until then

U need 63 for the statues and so I would say 90 to be safe, I only just managed to get all of the statues with 90

Although now u aren't allowed to jump so ngl I did it last night and I had 100

So yeah ...100 to be safe

I don't jump I used a zig zag pattern but I can't even walk quickly anymore it's a very slow walk
