Guys. Me and my friend always go to eden but we never get to see each other at the orbit. Any tips?
@chrome nexus when either of you die, does your spirit follow the other till they die too or do you go straight to the death scene?
if it follows them, wait for them to die and for you to both enter the room with the white kid you have to go hug. if you have chat, say something to yourself and tap on your own speech bubble to open the side window for chat and you will now be able to see their chat too. coordinate it so you hug the kid around the same time, and then coordinate to enter the light beam at the same time too.
follow through the next sequence till you get to the area where you are flying through the collapsing towers and stuff. try to land somewhere and wait if you dont see your friend. deep call to try and find them. you can also do the same chat thing to see if they are in your lobby, say something and if they can see yours too then wait for them a bit longer
i hope that helps, thats generally what i do with friends in eden and we always get to do orbit together. sorry for the long text

also archie adam if your spirit isnt follwoing your friend and just goes straight to the next scene somethings wrong there and it might be a bug
it doesnt really 'conclude' i dont think not in the regular sense
like the conclusion is just that we have to start over

Is there a good place to wait for it? I've tried waiting around the stairs/arch that it can't reach before heading out and running straight for the tunnel, but it always seems to catch me. Is there a point between the edge of it's reach toward the beginning and the tunnel that's safe?

@gilded fiber ik this is late but i hope this can be helpful. theres rocks before getting past the krill. if it comes from the left theres a big rock to the left considered a blind spot, if it comes from the right theres a smaller rock thats also a blind spot. i hope this can make sense, if not i can send you the video i saw the tip from !

I truly hope this question isn’t a bother, and I’m sure it is asked a lot but today was my first time reaching the Eye of Eden. Before dying, I had 7 levels to my cape and after rebirth I only have 1. Is this supposed to happen? Again, apologies for such a obvious question but a big thank you to anyone who decides to read this and help me!

@summer citrus hey! so yes it is supposed to happen. after youre giving red candles or eden candles! with that you can unlock wing buffs which are the locks in each spirit that will allow you to get a wing before being reborn! (preferred to be bought before being reborn so you dont get those wl until next eden run) and after being reborn you must find all the wl again! hope that can help

does eden actually have an end? ik that to get the ascended candles you need to like, die and stuff but i was just wondering if there is one, and if so is it possible to walk to the end with enough wings?

No, eventually the wind is too strong/you hit a sort of wall I am pretty sure
There is no other ending than dying
However if you just wanna walk to the last sections of eden you can make it with a certain amount of wings. If you aren’t trying to save statues and just walk directly there you can chill in the constant rock rain for quite a bit before your light runs out

This is to prevent one from having infinite ascended candles

The death loop bug is something that has been happening off and on for a while now, it tends to happen more often when you go in a group. There is a way to get out of it anyway, so I would say you can just go if you want to. TGC has tried to patch it before, but sometimes it still happens so you could be waiting for a while if you were going to wait for a fix

Sometimes you get stuck in a death loop. When that happens it usually helps to get you out of it by closing the game, waiting a few minutes, then restarting it and use the return shrine to go back
It should put you in a different server instance and get you unstuck

you don't need to include spoiler tags in this channel as spoilers are implied. And yea, dying and restarting is the normal progression. I think in order to progress to orbit you need to make it to at least the area of endless rockfall. If you die before that area you'll respawn back in the chaos (not 100% on that tho)

||, I was so genuinely surprised when I first played the game and got the death scene. For the first time in a video game death was portrayed so brutal and slow, in my opinion also realistic. It seemed to hurt at first but then slowly become painless and numb just how people would describe it in real life. I was baffled when I played it and promised myself to never go to eden again but well I went twice after that, once for a test and second for candles||

honestly, yeah, tgc really did their stuff. there's just that acceptance to it that comes as you're watching your poor skykid being battered around by rocks. eventually, you have to end up pushing through all that pain just to proceed, and i like that. it's a nice touch.

Did you restart your game right after you closed it? Sometimes it helps if you wait a minute or two so it puts you in a different server instance. If you do it too quickly you sometimes end up in the same glitched one

Yeah, first game I every played by TGC and they're already my favorite game creators, there's so much heart put into it that even I almost cried when my sky kid died for the first time
I had 56 WL left as I had to die because I didn't see any other statues around and let me telk you one thing: it was so slow.
I had to watch my boi for at least two or thre minutes get smacked and hit around with rocks (including me trying to save him a couple times because I couldn't watch him die) and those few minutes were painful. It's like watching something slowly slowly die you yourself could have avoided and the feeling of guilt just sits so deep even when your kid wakes up again.
Also can we talk about how they wake up?
It's so surprised and confused it just fits a child so well

yeah, same here, and i have to admit, tgc really are up there for me in terms of devs of games i've played. you can see the love they put into every piece of this game, for us to experience, and you can see how much it hurt them, like it hurts us and our skykids, to have to struggle through eden. in a way, we're a little in their shoes.
and i was the same. i didn't see the statues in the continuous rain area my first time through, so when the time came, i just. stood in the rain, letting it hit in those slow waves.
if anything, that's even harder. even me now with 10 wings, i can have only a couple wls left after getting all the statues. until the end, i'm striving to carry out that goal. when that's gone, and there's nothing left to do but die, that's really when it's painful.
and the reawakening is great. i love the little stumble, it really is just a little reminder that despite all they've just suffered through, your skykid is a kid.

Yes exactly, and that's what makes TGC so special to me as they themselves don't add a scene for drama they give eveything a purpose. They manage to convert such strong emotion into a single scene that it even baffles a apathetic person such as me and the entire game of sky managed to even break the shell and make me for the first time connect to a character so strong its unbelievable.
I definitely have to look at their other games, it's a really incredible team right there, a unnoticed gem in my opinion
I managed to see the status in the rain but I wasn't able to get to all of them because again, it rained down on migel like a war scene and he/the kid got weaker by the second so after lighting a. Statue I rushed all the way back and that was my mistake
It just makes one feel guilty but at the same time so good that you were able to free so many until your time has come.

But it actually makes it harder the next time one goes, you give this sky kid you have a personality (emotes) and adding that it's a kid makes the death even more painful as you sre this awesome personality and young person with no experience in life just fade away.

I am generally just not a very emotional person in the face of games, especially in the "negative" emotions(anger, grief etc.)
But just every time when my skykid start to have that shredded cape and start be hit and lose wl... idk what am i feeling anymore, it is painful to watch but the ascension is heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. I actually have enough ac for the next two ts but I just keep on doing eden runs (generally still a moth that need them for the spirits until last week) to save/help other moths in storm and... just to save some more statues i guess.?

@sage wagon you get permanent wings from spirits that you have upgraded your friendship with (aka ascended). But you'll only get them once you get to orbit.

My tip is once you reached orbit, you'll get ascended candles, ascend some spirits in orbit first before you are reborn. That way, you'll have more wing buffs

When you die in eden, you only lose the bright shiny wings you collect in the realms. your permanent wing buffs, that you buy with ac, will stay with you and you already have them once you are reborn

no, it's the same amount, just different prices
you get one wing buff per ascended spirit (with the exception of Cry and Wave, which give 2 wing buffs and you have to ascend it twice)
I guess one wing buff per unlocked node would be more accurate

I learned the hard way that you need to have a friend with you when oobing eden to get to the final area

not necessarily tho. usually if you have at least 7,8 flaps of wing power you can flap your way to the hallway- just make sure you fly high enough that is
but yea having someone who can tag along as a battery does make it easier to recharge and get there
