just checked the wiki!! everything beyond the portal until u die is the eye of eden. After u die, u enter the flying sequence, which is ascend. this includes the flight with the animals of light, aka, the mantas, whales, and jellyfish. Ascend also includes the part where u fly with the spirits and the sky-kid chains, where u can see the names of all ur friends. Orbit is ultimately where u land again, and, as arte said, the place where u buy stuff and run around. And appaerently, according to dark, where u fist-fight the elders too!

coconut, those wax count as regular candles. it'll go toward the regular candles, as if u got wax from red candles. the credit wax is referred to as eden candles (or at least, that's what i call them) bc it shows up in the candle icon that's sort of dark in colour but like, translucent

There is a cut to a candle at the very end of the credits after going through the portal, but you don't get any candles from that cut (only from the spirits you pass on the way to orbit) you do, however, get the credit star after you see the words "you are about to be reborn"

If you mean the light you lose when you get krilled , crab, staying at gw water etc.. they are random and will respawn randomly in realms.

As you're walking out, it's hard to catch which ones are giving you light, so I really don't know.
It could very well be that I just didn't realise the TS could be ascended until later on, when someone told me. But still...I should have known!

@dusk sequoia in the very last part of Eden (with the falling rock rain), there's a bunch of hunched over statues that you give winged light to. If you go to Eden to save the statues more than once in a given week, the statues you saved the last time you went will not appear because you can only save the maximum of 63 statues per week. Eden's reset will restore all 63 statues to their original locations so you can go save them again
Basically the game limits the amount of ascended candles you can collect per week to 15.75 (63/4) by making the statues disappear

elder hair is from unlocking all spirits’ cosmetics and emote levels within a constellation. after that, you need to die in eden and prepare ascending candles to pay elder hairs. but forest elder hair is known to be bugged for awhile, so you cant buy it if you’re unlucky

turning the rock rain off actually sounds annoying once you've got a certain number of wing buffs, since that just extends the wait to transition into the dark room
