How exactly do you get past point of no return, I mean, I went through it once before and completed it but I don’t understand exactly what you have to do to complete it

to get past the point of no return, you die.

the aim is to give as much light as you can to the statues

tips for last krill area before hallway?

Eden tip 3:
Many people frustrate over the last Krill since the combination of a bodyguard and rocks makes it hard to get by without losing any winged light for that, the best timing would be to let the krill go from right to left until it's vision can no longer see you and then charge up. Even if it does return from left to right, you can hide behind one of the rocks or pillars slightly below and then get to the tunnel. It's vision range from left to right is smaller so that's fine. If it does spot you, try to make a run for the tunnel, if it seems like you won't reach there on time, run to a hiding spot that blocks the flying rocks and start spamming any of the emotes that hide yourself from Krills. (The video)
And these pillars may seem small but they're closer to the tunnel and rocks fly past them. (The image)
however, if you REALLY can't make it and a Krill spots you, sometimes it's just better to take one hit from a rock if you have enough light to prevent Winged Light loss. It'll knock you down which also prevents the Krill from seeing you.

yes, use those small pillars just before the tunnel and camp while waiting for the correct timing

there are about three of them in a relatively straight line so you should be able to move from one to the next easily

the third one (closest to the doorway) is where you want to end up camping. it's a safe spot, so the rocks won't get you there and you can take as much time as you want. the krill light doesn't sweep there either, it'll miss you by a millimetre

i don't know what timing you use, but i tend to wait for the krill to leave for the right side and for the rocks to stop before just booking it. works very reliably for me

in the end it's all about knowing the safe spots and where to go in the worst case scenario, and then you just need to time your movements :))
