Does anyone have tips for flying in the first map of Eden? I can mostly get past the rock streams now, but I consistently get pushed by the winds past those rock streams. Usually the winds push me out of open wing mode, or don't let me rise enough to get to the end. Any tips?

Flying in eden takes practice and patience.

Honestly, I find it best if you get an eden uber to teach you the specifics and go from there

there are also guide videos on youtube for you to watch. it's mostly practice once you get the gist of it

If you go with the world record(?) speedrun way on youtube (it's like 1:43 to get to the star hallway), make sure you have a running start, facing the right direction, and don't fly up too early

krill follow very specific patterns when moving, and there are little safe spots scattered throughout the level

patience is key there, if you're not sure where the krill is, it's always a good idea to wait for it to pass over you again before moving

@covert jacinth one tip i have for you is at the part with the first two krill, hide at the normal spots like in every single walkthrough, but then go to the left at the tower rim thing, waut for the krill to pass over, and then fly into the tree trunk. It’s faster and safer.

of you're a chibi, hopping is definitely not recommended and in general I think you should review your eden choices XDXD

chibi = 0 wind resistance

I have no doubt in my mind about going tall rather than chibi

hop as a chibi, and you will get stunlocked faster

go to eden as a chibi, you'll be slow, blown back of you accidentally jump or hop, you'll get stuck over every single rock or edge, you won't be that much more protected against the rain anyways, you'll have to swim in that tiny bit of water when approaching krills (unless you do a hard left on the wall of the pipe), you'll be extra vulnerable when running past nunu towards the tunnel if a strong gust of wind hits you directly 👌

Not really a heartwarming story but the other day me and a friend went to Eden, and i had the wonderful idea of taking a "shortcut". Since I don't know the first thing about going oob in Eden we ended up getting swatted by the wind and i got us stuck in the red void of doom at least until my friend took over and brought us back in bounds. Here’s a noice story, I went to eden by myself and ending up getting krilled i met two strangers ther that helped me, one was more experienced. The experienced player ended up leaving only leaving me and the other one. I lead the rest of it and I figured out that it was their first time. I teach them more about them despite im not that experienced either. they’re one of my best friends on sky now. sorry if it was too long

Tho actually you can fall down from the cliff and slowly make your way under the flying rocks and climb up on the other side
