My first time to Eden was alone I didn't know anything about the game I was so scared hahahaha the best part was when I discovered that when I give the light to the children statues I lose my wings so I stopped after I died I was so sad I remember telling this to my family hahaha and telling them that the next time I will for sure not die so on my next few Eden runs that was like every day I just went to the end without saving the children and I still died I think after that I started realising what was happening but my doubt come true after a video about Eden spoiler

Buying those wing buffs also allow you to unlock some parts of the constellation so you can 100% complete them. So it doesn't only upgrade ur wings, but unlock more content. And you could say u dont need more flaps since its not necessary for everything. Wings are there for convenience

hmm, the getting stuck on stairs part is just a normal struggle in eden, and the spotlight bug is a pretty common one.

#

for stairs, i'd recommend just backing up a bit and jumping onto them--it can help with not getting stuck sometimes!
