I get approximately around 10-12 ascended candles per run, you can then buy wing buffs etc and you will already be reborn with like 4 wing energy or sum, depends!
If you go through the portal, wait for the collect sound (as if u collected one extra star cause guess what you do) and after you heard it you can skip

You can get ascended candles by going through Eden. You get more candles for sacrificing winged light to more of the statues in Eye of Eden. The maximum you can get is about 15 per week, as alex said.

doing eden in an empty server is a frightening but very interesting experience. no longer can you rely on a passerby to recharge your flame. there is no one looking out for you. there is no hope of recovering dropped stars. the only option is to learn to protect yourself and push on.

@analog hill not quite. You can get really close to it but there is an invisible wall at the end of the area, and nothing special happens if you reach the wall

Apparently in early Dev versions of Eden it was possible to escape with a few wings still intact by reaching the end but there’s nothing like that now, the intent of the area is for you to save as many statues as possible, no reward for distance ran or anything

The glow is a prop light put in so you can see the room from the base of the mountain, as the lamps and star are nowhere near bright or large enough to give the same effect from that far away. There’s a trigger that shuts it off before you enter that room, but sometimes the trigger doesn’t work so you walk in and see the prop light up close.

@jolly moss Eden resets every Sunday (the time it resets depends on where you live, although I assume it's 00:00AM PST). After doing Eden and essentially being reborn, you can go around all the areas to recollect your stars (the children of the light) and stock up on your wing buffs again (those are the amount of flight power you have).

#

You can only get ascended candles once a week and they'll only come back when Eden resets, but you can go to Eden anytime if you prefer. Just be aware that once you go through Eden once, you can't receive any more ascended candles until it resets again.

For eden every time you go through and reset, your wings go away, so then you won’t be able to level up higher than let’s say 50? (All the stars?)

@golden yoke every time you go through Eden you lose your wings yes, but before rebirthing ascended spirits will give you winged light. After that you’ll have to go back and collect the winged light in the different areas.

Ascending all spirits and then collecting the winged light from the different areas will max you out.

If you die in Eden, there is a star behind the door you leave though in orbit that is auto collected, though it’s a bit funky and not everyone gets it consistently

You can hear yourself getting it right after the reborn message. If you skipped the millisecond that message faded you may have skipped too fast
