I find it a little disturbing that the death one is turned into a comical melodrama. The spirit's death certainly didn't look comical to me. The game's emphasis on the lighthearted and enjoyable aspects of life I can understand wouldn't want a serious death emote, but the juxtaposition and erasure of the truly bad death of the spirit kind of chafes for me.

What I really don't understand about Sky though is why heavy, frightening elements like krill and war are even in it in the first place. I would have been much happier if the game was literally all sunshine and rainbows, as the cliche goes.
It's just that other iOS games that are all sunshine and rainbows are a lot stingier with their gameplay, and much less tasteful.

I like the dark spot that leaves on the world. It makes it feel a whole lot more real, you can’t have the light without the dark. That’s also apparently something the devs dealt with in beta, where the game encourages kindness with no reward to the point where everyone seemed suspicious and untrustworthy.

Yes, there's the arc of dawn to night, and that's told very vividly, but it saddens me that their interpretation of that means things get worse into a nightmare at night. Some nights can just be peaceful, you know? 😆

Ok so if you have enough light, distribute it to the statues in the final area. The more you give, the more star candles you get. You see the blurred area of purchasing things from a spirit? Using star candles unlocks that area. In turn, you will get more stars at rebirth. You loose all of them when you end but can easily recollect them

I discovered that being a chibi while doing eden is extra hard. Being smaller makes me have to fly more to get up certain ledges, and with the wind it doesn’t go well 😂

I took my time and mapped out the first area my second time I thought it was glitched, till I found the second area on accident. Went from 7 to empty mighty fast and wasn’t sure I would reach the last 2 statues near the “end” - the storm seems to intensify the further in you go

I died 3 times at the very end section... Is there something I was doing wrong? I was helping my gf beat eden (it’s her first, my second) and we both respawned at the same point before finally triggering the ending.

The aim is this: before the hallway and statues, try to keep all your light and collect the few at the end. Once you reach the statues, the first half has you trying to reach every body that's before the constant red hail, ducking behind cover and lighting up lanterns to keep your lights on, then at the very end you have no choice but to take the hits and give light to every body you can find before keeling over
Also once you enter final zone, you must finish eden before returning to the overworld - at Home, all the gates for the other areas shut off
No collecting any more lights, just do your best with what you have and brace yourself for the inevitable

Main thing look at the black dragons rotation they go same rotation, and the rocks they have a pauze in between. As for the end part the red rocks are dangerous wait for it to pauze then run to the nearest stone torch and make a light, plan your route before you go to the next stone torch or to the statues you have to safe
