A normal TS is only announced a few days before it arrives, I am not sure on a group visit, but as we know there will be 6 spirits, if they are all from the same season then that reduces the choices down to most seasons from Little Prince and earlier: Assembly, Sanctuary, Enchantment, Rhythm, Belonging, Lightseekers and Gratitude. So everyone can speculate until TGC announce it. Maybe they will just take 6 random ones with no theme or season?

Are there any place in sky that sort of looks like the part of orbit, which is bright, looks like valley of triumph, has all these mantas and jellyfish? I want a bright, glowy, ancient place for photos

All realms in Sky look different, Jellyfish can be found just before the Forest temple, in sanctuary islands, the underground cavern. mantas can be found in Prairie Village, Sanctuary islands, the forest Tree house when you have completed the assembly quests, I think there are a few in the Valley Flying race area (or am I misremembering?) but I do not know if you will be able to land and take photos in the right places.

I have a moth question that I haven't been able to word correctly to get a googled answer.... is there a better way to see which statues you have already given light to? Sometimes camera angles will make a statue look unlit, and I get frustrated getting bonked in the face with rocks only to find out I already got it once I get closer.

I don’t think so, at least for me on mobile. What I found that helped was using a map until I memorized a route. That way I know where I’ve been to so no need to double check if I missed a statue

My trouble is I've had times where I missed a statue because PC relies on camera angle to pick an interaction. I can't just tap directly on the statue, I have to angle so the F appears. Can't tell you how many candles I've lit for a passing player instead of a statue!

One of my favorite parts at the end of eden is when you're seeing all the spirits in space.

I love seeing the non base spirits in that walkway to the light door.

It's just so cool seeing all the new ones show up. They have such cooler designs. Idk it's just a cooler and nicer feeling

Is eden worth it for black dye? Someone just dragged me into eden after asking if I wanted to do a dye run and I bailed because I don't want to risk my light. A video I saw had like three medium plants that gave like one black butterfly each. I feel like that's just not worth it

Depends on the hour’s value
Generally theres minimal risk in light as theres no place where you’re guaranteed to get hit unless you’re being risky, otherwise sometimes there will be large dye plant’s sometimes not

The amount of black varies per hour since it resets every hour, same as with any other dye location. Lots of red though.

Eden has the highest black percentage of all realms, in that sense it‘s worth it. But the rotations can be very different, sometimes there‘s almost no black (or almost no plants)

As long as you time your movements and make sure you're in a safe spot, dye-running in Eden shouldn't be so bad

(I'm not overly fond of it either, but I've dye-ran through Eden twice now and had no issue)

The more the riskier, and only GW and Eden have black dye, and just very rarely in wind paths/vault archives

It was just very jarring to meet someone two hours ago and have them, a newer player than I, drag me into Eden without telling me. I feel bad for leaving because they logged off, but I didn't have time to explain my distress before I dipped. I'm such a cowardly "veteran" ;-;

If you want to avoid most of the risks and save time (because seriously doing all wasteland for dye take like half a hour every time, sometime for little or no black), you can still go only in the first area, since you just have to fly high enough to avoid the rock rain. You can actually do it too for the rock rains in the second area, and just limited yourself to the dye plants between the first rock rain and the pipe with krills around, there's not that much danger as long as you keep your eyes on the first krill rotation ^^

Eden isn't difficult to navigate if you know what you're doing (well the last krill is a pain to get past if you take the main path but I never go up there, especially not when I'm just doing a dye run and most of the stuff is before that part). Main thing is when you hit the vertical pipe section of Eden, you can fly without getting tossed around by the wind.

Any tips how to give WL to all statues and not miss any, please? I saw a map and tried to use it when I was there, but I missed some, it wasn't very helpful there and I can't see there much, but I had enough WL, I reached last statues and still had spare WL, but I must missed some earlier

Map takes a bit getting used to but I find it super helpful now, just takes a few weeks to get a good sense of the map directions

I mostly knew where on map I'm when I used it, but I didn't know which I already lit and which not, because I needed to return sometimes for recharge or to avoid rocks and it was also hard to look both on map and on game (I play on PS/TV and map was opened on phone) and also check where friends are (I don't like going alone)

It's a pity there isn't some street view from Eden and wasteland to learn the area better without risking anything 😆

In that case, maybe a good method would be to do the first 5 or 7, run the edge of the map up to the one behind the round pillar, then go back and get the ones in between. I do that to make sure I dont missed any of the kinda hidden ones

My own tactic is basically "combing Zone 1 from bottom to top".

Starting from the left where most statues are hidden/covered, then backtrack to the start and, after that, going down the middle while at times moving my camera up into a "bird perspective" view to not miss some pretty well-hidden statues both in the middle and to the right.

That's another problem, I can't use bird perspective much there, somehow it always zoom on my head when I'm hiding from rocks (like unintentional chibi glitch, but I'm tall), it's the biggest problem for me, I can't see much around because of it. But it happens only in Eden, I don't know why

I know of that all too well, this tends to happen when your Skykid´s head is touching the wall/obstacle and the camera´s position being unfortunate to not allow you to peek across the wall/obstacle, instead colliding with it like the kid´s head. To mitigate this, I (at least) briefly move the camera´s point-of-view around without moving the kid.

A friend placed the ball (from ball spell) on me which teleported me to the origin. And seemingly if you immediately freeze your game there (open control center on iOS) and wait a minute before you go back to the game, you will not be reset to the start of the area and instead Fall down there

Sometimes they glitch through walls, or someone might’ve lured them to you. Sadly you’re never 100% safe in an area with krills. Server merges can mess up with their path too

🌹; Depends on the parts of Eden that you're talking about. There is the first two stages where you are getting close to the Point of No Return, which you can lose wings at, yet still collect them if they do not shatter; But at the tunnel, where you are given such a prompt of "There is no turning back from this point forward." Then no, You are destined to lose those wings to the rocks/statues that reside in there, until you get to orbit to get the permanent spirit buffed wings. (If you have unlocked such.)

Only until PNR/Storm Lock; once in PNR/Storm Lock (which you will be warned about, as Fronting says), then you have to lose all of your wings to proceed by either giving them to the statues (best way) or having them be knocked out of you by the shard rain.

As you collect ascended candles and ascend spirits, you will collect more permanent wings. But yes, you will lose all the winged light collected through the realms

3. Not sure what else to do aside from daily cr right now? I'm a new player so squeezing what I can out of stuff between events just seems to be the thing to do

1. need to do another wlr
2. sometimes wlr are frustrating for me though it does make me practice to fly better (which I want to do)

I'm trying to weigh what is worth it I guess and what kind of actions willl lead to better practice with the game, so I can be more helpful to other players... idk I am unsure. And also how much practice is enjoyable vs when it becomes not. Like crs are nice sometimes, but others I just like bumping into things while doing quests or collecting spirits at my own pace. I just don't know that I have any other goals rn aside from "be ready for the next event"

I’d say, since the next TS is after reset, this won’t be the difference between getting that wing buff or not, which is the only situation I’d consider it worth it. If you want to go to Eden, if that sounds enjoyable, go ahead, but don’t do it because you should. Aiming for optimal play when you don’t feel like it is a fast way to burnout or losing interest

That and I guess I'm a little lost at what else to do in game rn aside from daily CR since I have most of the wl and got my first 4 wing buffs leaving Eden last time (had 18 AC before I left) so right now I am trying to focus on traveling spirits since most of that AC was spent on the normal constellation spirits. I also enjoy practicing things I'm bad at (except the Prophecy trials ><)

They are technically returning spirits rather than the normal rotation, but in terms of buffs it’s identical

Worth noting that they disappear a day after reset, so it still isn’t necessary to do Eden again this week even if you don’t have all their buffs

when you lose all your wl you get sent to the pity room, its basically the same as that void with the single wl at the end of eden
thats it, then you are at 1 wl until you redo eden and get wing buffs back, or just go collect the realm ones

if you missed some statue on your first run, you can go back in in the same week for those, but best wait for eden reset unless you really don't mind the multiple trip

It’s subjective but butterflies are the mid stage, where people know what they’re doing more. Some consider it when they get their first non-moth cape, and change colours, but definitions vary

I went in with 120 before, and I couldn't get every single statue either Until I had my elder mask ; If you have an Elder mask then that might be possible to an extent, or incredible luck. But it is difficult ( I agree with Dragon on that point, but also a bit with Frost )

But you are supposed to get hit a few times, even if not losing any wings during before the endless rain, so Just depends on the player/rainfall rates/Elder masks or non

You won't have any remaining, that is the only way you can get out. You will get reborn with any wing buffs you have unlocked from spirit friendship trees and then you go and find the children of light again.

Recently Im failing to go there alone too even when i skip whole second map (to “run in front of them in line”) and its frustrating cuz I mark my progress by lighting the lamps and also those people keep trying to light me every few seconds, i keep clicking on them by accident instead of the statues and since they recently added the gray player collision, i get pushed around to the rocks and away from lamp/shelter, it is frustrating (also the unecessary long wait before “would you like to continue alone or wait for other players?” window pops up)

I wish there was singleplayer option for eden and others could join only if you a) lit them up on previous map b) were your friends and holding hands or something, i like to do eden in my own pace and not with someone constantly being behind my back yelling at me

My Wasteland cr-route pretty much involves all of the mainland with seasonal areas being either skipped or put at a later time, so yeah, Ruined Temple -> Graveyard -> Battlefield (because of that one horrible Darkness Tree if I'm solo, which I mostly am nowadays) -> Crab Fields -> rest of Battlefield -> Temple.

Trust me, most time that GW will take from you is gonna be because of that Battlefield Darkness Tree. </3

For the first two areas of Eden, there's something that kind of sounds like thunder or a crash that usually happens right before rocks start flying at you. In Storm Lock/past the point of no return, I found that audio cue unreliable, so last time I was there, I looked for different signs. I realized it's actually better to look up at where the rain is coming from because it comes in waves and you can track the movement better than you can if you listen to it. I think I also saw red light reflecting in the water as the wave of rain got closer to the area.

Audio cue becomes useless in zone 2. You look for the spotlights instead.

as far as game mechanics go, that is the general area a spirit stands when coming down from a constellation for you to interact with their friendship menu and get blessings. still, nothing should be present if you're outside the constellation menu and certainly not a past seasonal spirit nor a mannequin.

ancient light/darkness is the "spirits" from shattering, it was the first season with 'entities' rather then spirits

and "since the start of 2024" is because our first TS after abyss was march 2024, so that was when this issue/bug started

We had Shattering Visitors previous year before Moominseason and once Frantic Stagehand came in a Special Visit in March of last year, it´s when we started to notice the increase of wl-count after credits (Orbit wl), so I took it upon myself to start counting every single one of them since that time, so people won´t be confused on why they´re getting more than 1 Orbit wl. ;D

And yes, Ancient Light and Darkness each had 2 wing buffs on their return. Do NOT ask how it makes sense, they just did.

If you got high enough in them. Once you get them, then they get unlocked and not only do you get access to the rest of the friendship tree, once exiting Orbit, they get added to your base wl-count.

The last few seasons of ts are not included in the lineup in Eden, you get those wing buffs you’ve earned as you exit instead

And at the end I got almost all the ascended candles which is a first for me. And lit a few fires for a couple moths going through eden. All in all a good run 😀

My problem is I go to eden every week. One extra flap is hardly noticeable for me. Sometimes I’m so lazy to go on a wlr I just end up with only my wing buffs for most of the week haha

I do it every week also. Most of the time I just get my dailies, events and seasonals completed. But a WLR is time to enjoy exploring and enjoying the landscape that TGC has built. It is also the time I collect the most dye.

I will collect the buff from the TS on Thursday and then tackle Eden, then it is WLR time.

Haha I run isle and forest. I skip the side areas but main area goes fast for me bc I use a tent that takes me to the third floor, then use another one to take me to the top and I just go backwards

after running eden i always take my elder mask and run back for the 10 wl, and do gw (as i dislike it, though its grown on me) and typically do what i dub hybrid runs - i do wlr and snag any cr in that realm. i typically continue to vault, then whatever order i get around to on the first 4 realms - though i try to tackle annoying access areas ie Abyss, Peaks, 9CD and Moomin as they require seated transitions with one way in and out.

i use chibi falling to tackle ground floor 4p door, then tent up to 2 and do the same, snag a tent and grab 3f wl oob and fly up to hit the trigger, running floor 4 as normal, tenting up to the top and nosediving down to 5 for that one wl.

Call me addicted on having 12 wedges + extra wl in case of being Krilled or otherwise losing all light.

And we made eye contact and honked at each other a few times, before I upgraded my wings infront of them. Then they congratulated it and walked into the last area.

You get used to it, I find it exhilarating.

If possible, use the intended route, so that moths learn the rock patterns, where to move, where to hide from Krill and other goodies you had to learn as a moth yourself. :) But well, if you´ll use those accounts without your daughters watching, then might as well use the OOB-shortcut-route or fly over obstacles. Just make sure they don´t lose wl.

I once had a friend in Sky. We met in the Eye of Eden — I was really persistent, and that’s how we found each other. We became friends, and he was so kind, polite, and funny. He showed me so many places I had never seen before.

But then… I deleted him. And yes, I had my reasons. But looking back, I really regret it. It was a bad decision. The game hasn’t felt the same since.

Just finished my second Eden run lol, took a lot to make myself get used to the path but made it. And I have to say, if there’s anything that I’ve learned and loved about Sky, is the theme of Giving, and never expecting anything in return. We get to give our light to trapped souls and are reborn to keep collecting and giving for hundreds of lifetimes. This really warms me when games can have such beautiful meanings

It's actually really simple. Go up the Pipe tower but instead of proceeding to the last boulders and the krill, go back and fly off the big round pipe. Fly a nice high bow towards the clouds to your left and you'll end up along that red glowing surface.
