Thats what i try doing! I only just started a few weeks ago but i try and collect everything i can realm by realm. It’s easy to keep tabs on opposed to jumping around aimlessly

If you go realm by realm you can reach 9 buffs as maximum not considering the shattering memories

I do the same. When my daughter is asleep I'll grab a cold one, get on the couch next to my wife and so another eden. I'm currently at 129wl

I've gotten quite good at getting all wl back except for 2 I keep forgetting

So if you’re planning to spend your ACs after eden trip in traveling spirit week don’t forget to save some

People used to reach the last statue with less wing lights
But now you got to have around 150 wing lights to get all of the statues
(I think statue counts are 63)

I agree! I kinda impulsively bought the piggyback spirits cape and realized i much rather would of wanted the fish cape from the special room. I used a 25 dollar gift card on this traveling spirit. Im glad i completed them but i miss the fish cape, it was so cute. What I’m really excited for though is the halloween season! I want the hair with ears, the black cat tail cape and mask badly. A friend used a spell on me to try on those items and i fell in love

I still remember my first time in Eden... I was all alone. The rest of my PUG got lost along the way and suddenly all hell broke loose

And then I dropped out of orbit and couldn't reach the light.

I spent 20 minutes trying to fly up until I started searching for a solution. Then after 30min on the Internet I restarted my game and got reset to the beginning of the flight after dying

I was alone my first time as well. Up until now I prefer to do Eden alone when its just for me to get candols 😅 And then I go there to have fun 🤣 4 moths at once are extremely rare, Im so happy they all made it till the end! We lost one after dying, might have proceeded alone/closed the game/got the bug. Rest 3 reborned together with me and we used a table to say quick hi and ty 🙂

I went to fly to them near the pipe zone when i got smacked by a rock

ok so. i recently ascended the last of the base game spirits (just level 1) and i was wondering how wing buffs work after that. you can get them on friendship trees right? and of course ts but i only have 2 of those

also the ones that you have to give ac to twice, do they give a second wing buff? and does it work the same with the 1 and 5 ac milestones on the friendship tree?

Basically, every wing buff you buy equals one wing buff. Before you enter the door of rebirth, you will be given wings by the spirits you ascended, +1 after you are reborn. And yes, if a spirit has 2 wing buffs you can buy both and get both of those wing buffs.

Friendship tree ascended candle nodes do not give wing buffs.

Your friend was wrong.

Okay, so say you buy an ascended candle node from a random spirit. This will count as your first ascended spirit. So after completing Eden and reaching Orbit, that spirit you ascended will be waiting on the path to the door of reincarnation. You will receive one wing before you reincarnate, and 1 AFTER you reincarnate at Home. You get however many spirits you've ascended wings, and then one extra after reincarnation.

So right now, if I remember my ascended spirits, I have 74 spirits ascended right now. I will get an extra wing after skipping or viewing the credits, and landing at Home again. So right now, I can be reborn with 75 wing buffs.

ok so you do the second nodes and then you just have to wait for ts after?

Yeah, if you want to do the second ascended nodes, you can.

But once you ascend every single base game spirit including the second node, you'll have to rely on TS you haven't ascended to get more wing buffs. Repeats can happen, so that means a TS you've ascended before CAN come back, but everything you've bought will remain the same, and the stuff you haven't bought will be for sale once more.

The statues are tied only to your progress, actually! The reason you can't rescue them again is because of the way the game works. Eden statues won't "reset" until Sat/Sun each week, and then they can be saved again. Type !er to check when in your time zone!

a litrle depressing story time but. i didnt experience eden the way the game intended me to, like i got everything very thoroughly spoiled before hand

because i kinda had a little accident beforehand that costed me a crap load of winged lights in golden wasteland, i got knocked over by crabs, fell into polluted water, cant get out of water bc i was forced to crawl and the only lands around me were too elevated to reach, i kept trying to go home but it got interrupted every time a crab hit me, didnt know about closing game, didnt know about deep honking… it was miserable and terrifying and made me lose 15 wls in a roll before i remembered closing the game

i finished vault and went to eden and the first thing they said was you risk losing all WLs and i can see so many krills on the map so that got me super nervous and i just had to read the wiki first, but i just got more scared the more i read seeing how much was in store for me LOL
i only went there much much later and with a veteran carrying me through it bc i was so unnecessarily terrified of the punishments in this game fjshsh

Its not stormlock, its just a bug. Wait for prompt to show up which asks if you wanna proceed alone,
or close the game, log back on and use home shrine to return to Eden,
or turn your wifi off/on.

Stormlock is technically an in-game feature, when you enter pnr, we call that entering stormlock because well.. you're locked in until you finish eden. And if you go home at that point, you'll be in a stormy version of home and the only thing you'll be able to use is the return shrine to go back to eden.
Chibi falling is to get out of pnr, used when people want to glitch out of pnr without losing wl. For when people accidentally enter pnr or forget they've already been there that week

@dusty sequoia its not what we are talking about. Soft stormlock is what I described above. Its a bug. No rocks falling, you cant ascend. The only thing that helps (aside from contacting support) is to chibi fall though Eden gate and go back to Eden. It kinda restarts it. Everything else including restarting the game doesnt work. People stay in Eden for days.

Doesnt have to be wifi, can also be due to poor server connection, game doesnt register you loosing wings. There's no significant difference between going as chibi vs going as non-chibi. You may struggle with some of the big steps as chibi, just like you would anywhere else, but your hitbox is the same size no matter what. So the rocks are just as likely to bonk you either way

Another easy way to tell when the wind dies down, when the wind is harsh your sky kid will tuck their head down lower and look more hunched, when the wind calms down your sky kid will look up and around, and look a bit less beat

I think one valuable advice is that you can use flying to get past the shrimps in the second map.

I've seen a lot of people struggle there more than with the rocks which are usually a simple matter of duck, cover, wait and run iterations.

But getting past the section with the stairs, tower and open pipe, I've seen quite a lot of people being hit by the dark shrimp 🦐

And when you are hit there, you will most likely not be able to get your wl back as they drop down far below

I think so, too, but for now, I like to think it's just Eden trying to extinguish our light. Nowhere is safe for us in Eden. It is the end of our journey, and it will end it.

Once you reach a certain point, the shelter spots become less effective against the falling rocks. And you can get clipped if you're not tucked right up against hiding spots on the early sections, too. It's just part of the Eden experience, I think

Went eden today for the first time in a long time (like very long time) did not know there were changes with the update and decided to throw myself head first into the red stone storm in the last area (as I have always done) turns out that’s not how it works anymore

First of all, welcome back! Good to see you again!

Secondly, a lot has changed about Eden recently, especially after Season of Shattering The biggest one is the introduction of the crawl mechanic, which is likely what had caused problems for you there Crawling can really slow you down, so here's a couple tips for ya:

1. Whatever you do, do not try to jump. It will only slow you down further and you'll lose a lot of wl doing that

2. Try to time your movements. At the last area with continuous rock rain, sometimes if you time it right, you can get all statues with little problem But you could also get unlucky, so it's all RNG. Which leads to the third tip;

3. Go in with as much wl as you can Usually around 150 is what people go with, and with that amount, you can barely reach all 63 statues. The more you have, though, the more you lose, so be careful!

4. If you have one, try going in with an Elder mask That will allow you to tank a few hits without getting reduced to a crawl, and you can make it past the dune without crawling if you get lucky

Just wait it out. The game is working properly, it just put the camera in the wrong place. You are watching the people who were in Eden with you complete their games, and eventually they will. Or the game will ask if you want to proceed without waiting for friends. It's simpler just to wait five or ten minutes than it is to try to hack something.

I have a hard time knowing when it's safe when relying on sound cues alone. I prefer to watch the color of the falling rocks as they hit the ground.

Many red rocks shattering on the ground = not safe. Predominantly grey/black rocks shattering on the ground = safe (ish).

That's why I like to show them the safe "paths" through the first part. I show where it's safe to stand and run, and let them figure out the timing. If they mess up, I run back and help them get their light back, get up, and try again. It's how I had to do it, and it sticks better if they do it themselves. Makes future runs better and easier.

Eden is never easy for a beginner or veteran now. It's intended because people wanted more challenge. That, and people also wanted unpredictability. But if you want tips from someone who constantly runs Eden so often, here's a couple tips for PNR:

-Don't rely on the sound cues, like ever. They're meant to trick you and deceive you into taking the wrong step. Instead, rely on the visual. If you look up while at a recharge point behind cover, you can see the black rocks falling. If they are falling upon you or the path you choose to go through, stay until it finishes, then repeatedly bunny hop. There's no time to be moving normally in PNR.

-At the red spotlight area, look and observe the paths the spotlights go through. Take your time observing, there's no rush. If it helps you, count 3 seconds after the spotlight runs over your chosen path and bunny hop as fast as you can. Don't stop at a statue, if you miss one, go forward. Your priority in the spotlight section is to be behind cover all the time with a lit brazier.

Yes, 3 candles is easily obtainable with a level 7 cape. You only need to rescue 12(?) statues for that, and there are plenty more than that.

Next time you go and (if) you get the bug again please (both of you) DO NOT restart the game, just wait for the pop up message to continue alone. You reborn together then. Now, when you are in Orbit show your moth around and (hopefully you have piggy back open with them or you can use props) take them way up high to show them popular Orbit oob. Make sure you both have saved many statues, as it's what makes the oob so beautiful. Your moth will be in awe I promise 🥰❤️

ok so i've been lurking on the bug reports since putting in my own report.. and i'm noticing a disturbing trend on the eden bug where your just souls. do not quit the game when your stuck in eden as a soul and not following anyone, just sit tight and eventually you will fade to black and get the next section. i've had the bug about 4 times now, and just waiting for the prompt of "do you wish to proceed without your friends" or fade to the next section has happened (ps 5, and its happened again when i was helping another ps5 user) patience is key.

I like to think each time our Skykid is reborn, it's like a fresh restart, complete rebirth. No memories, no knowledge of past experiences. Helps make the mechanics fit better (like having to view the scenes each and every time we cycle). Maybe even a wholly new Skykid, freshly forged from the light of our previous one. Just an idea, though.

yeah there are tricks involving flying, but the ones i know need you to fly from the starting point of the second area after first wl hall

never really fly in eden since i prefer walking by foot, so i can't give much input on that

the only time i fly are at the pipes

I saw a trick where you have to like fly up till the dome tower in the krill area and go home and when you log in you are in the dome tower

Don't believe the videos that tell you to fly over to the right side... Way too mich hassle to find the right piece of platform/cave in the dark. Fly left all the way and walk around...

@old halo im getting constantly surprised with ppl who fly to the right (by the left side of the clouds) and try to get into cave from its top. Its so unsafe omg! I see them fail so often 😅

you can fly to right and land right on top of entrance to wl area and squeeze through the holes, but its tricky....if you go lower before reaching the entrance, you get blown away!
