Careful though, you can lose them. It’s just that once you go to Eden you are reborn with them already collected. But you can lose them if you’re affected by dark elements of the game (pollution, crabs, dragons etc)

Besides spirits, there are other uses for AC that some desire enough to go die again for

does anyone have tips on how to get to the final statue in eden in the new update? I’ve been four times at least so far, twice with 186 wl, once with 187 and just now with 188. I don’t get hit at all until the crawling section, but when the crawling starts my wings don’t stop depleting and i haven’t reached the last statue once since the old version of eden was still here. I know there is a long-standing weekly cap on how many ascended candles you can receive each week, but I thought that was tied to lighting the flames of the children in Eden rather than total number of asc. candles received in the game. Are the batches of ascended candles I’m getting from this new event affecting how many asc. candles I can collect in Eden?

This is the first time I’ve gone to Eden in a few weeks, and I’m just trying to see if I should file a bug report about it.

Wow, that doesn't sound right! I've been doing all the shard events and getting the ac but still got 12ac in Eden a few days ago. Yes, a pathetic number compared to normal but that's what Eden is like now. It sounds as though you did Eden a second time before reset and could only get one remaining statue except that you say you lit up children all over the map. So I would report that as a bug!

There are 63 statues and you get one ac for every four statues you save. That means a theoretical total of 15.75ac per week. But ac are whole figures so you only get 15. Sometimes I get an extra one in Orbit and I assume that's because there was a fraction left over from the previous week and that added to this weeks total yields an extra ac, if that makes sense. But I haven't heard of any other cap.

Yep, this is what happens when you loose your wl. You need another player to light you or go to a torch statue which is already alight; that often means going backwards. But it can take a while! You need plenty of wl to get any ac. I crawled the entire second half on my first Eden after the 18 update. Hence my profile pic!

The changes are all in the later parts of the Storm, and a newbie might run out of winged light (wl) before then anyway.

The idea is that you give your winged light to the petrified children (statues) in the storm so they can ascend into heaven. You get one ascended candle for every four statues you manage to save. You have to lose all your wl before you can die and be reborn; then you go back to the Home space and start collecting your wings again in the realms. Also, going to Eden gives you the permanent wings you have unlocked when you buy the wing buff unlock in a spirits tree. I hope this makes sense!

Yes, from regular spirits or when they return as travelling spirits. When you buy items from them, there is usually a wing buff unlock in there to buy as well, sometimes two. You pay for them with ascended candles, which you get in Eden.

Btw, you need to have a certain number or wings before you do Eden but if you dont have them, a friend can take you. Best to have around 8 cape stars tho, I think, just to get the most out of the experience. It is quite moving the first time you do it!

I may have some nice information for everyone going to eden, when you enter the permanent rain, there will be moving red spots on the ground where the rocks fall, avoid those and you won’t lose much light, also they have a pattern that you can memorize. There will be a moment where you will start to inevitably take damage, so it’s like old eden, just go and get those statues and don’t stop.

Until the fourth recharge shrine (I think) you can stay lit

Well, I made it to the very last statue last night for the first time since the update to Eden, and I gave it my very last winged light. I had entered the PNR with 195 WL. Apparently I missed 5 statues along the way though because I got 14.5 Ascended Candles. Still, not bad, especially since I went through pnr solo!

It depends on how many wing buffs you have. Each wing buff gives you 1 wl when you are reborn. If you have 2 cape wedges, you have bought at least 1 wing buff

Does chibi help at all with the Struggle Crawl? I’m trying to watch some Eden Runs on YouTube to help me learn how to get further into the zone where it’s raining constantly and all the videos I’m seeing allow the people to still run around after getting hit by rocks :/ I am stuck doing the crawl until I can get to a lit fire statue, but there aren’t any firelight statues in the Constant Rain Zone. So how do you get more WL statues if you’re stuck doing the Struggle Crawl?

ok so like 3 days ago i went to eden for first time gave wings etc and then i started doing litle prince quests so when i reached last quest in eden i entered again but i couldnt really give much to statues i mean i gave to some but the others there wasnt even a button for winged light transfer so was there a bug or like was it caused by little prince quest or is there something else

In android, you can turn off WiFi, get hit a bunch while save all statues, turn wifi back on to proceed to orbit. While wifi is off, red rocks can't hurt u
In iOS once WiFi is off there's a no internet screen blocking ur movements, so u can't do this in iOS

Hihi! Any tips on getting thru Eden? My first run I managed to stumbled upon a veteran with another moth (including myself). Since I kinda suck at flying around & this is gonna be my second run

1. Time the red rocks when you get to the statue let. Timing is KEY

2. Go for the lanterns first. Light the lanterns before the statues. That way if you get knocked out, you’ll have a lit lantern to warm up to

3. If you can, ask someone to uber you to eden. Make sure they know the shortcut (the glitch!). This will skip the rocks and krill pry if eden.

4. When you’re at the statues, zoom out to make sure you have all of them before moving into the part where there’s constant red rain. Once you’re there, you will v quickly lose your wl

5. If you want I can go w you next run but you’ll have to wait until Sunday or Monday evening

Additional tip! Be patient, especially in the area before the consistent rock rain. You don’t have to move every time it ceases, take time to plot where you’re going to go, especially if you have a smaller amount of wings.

Most players used to walk along the rocks to a pnr but I couldn't find it one day and instead I found an entry point down at the level of the water. But I would like to know the other one too, if it is still there.

You have to pan your camera around, there is a crack in the rocks that shows the interior of the tunnel (you’ll see one of those lanterns). Just jump into that crack (spam until you get in)

I’m a new moth and I was curious so, I found a couple of new friends to try an eden run with.
We knew we were short on light but it’s Saturday night, why not right?
Needless to say, we didn’t get far before having to run for ‘home’ and giving it another go.
We kept at it, again and again until, 1 of us needed to hop out so we got down to 2.
My new best friend 👯‍♀️ took my hand 🤝 and we did our best until … we had a run of bad luck and I got down to just 1 WL ✨.
Of course, that’s when the winds picked up 🔥 🪨 and before I could blink, I was laying on my side curled up questioning my Saturday night curiosity ☠️.
Before I faded however, I watched as my new best friend turned and marched with determination straight INTO the storm!
She there stood taking the hits until she too, fell.🔥🪨☠️

The next thing I know, I’m crossing over and there she was by my side!
