Has anybody figured out how to translate drum notation into game? In sheet music (real one, not in-game) drum notes don't indicate pitch, they instead indicate what drum to hit and IDK what buttons to press when seeing that notes.

Drum notes in game can be more usefully sorted into the types of drums you hear, so that you know which ones to press for what rhythms. Rather than being pitched, the two drums in game are drum sets, and you determine the rhythm outside of the game.

I am not very good at rhythms and drumming myself, so that's all the help I can really give, sorry

What's the best technique play the music? Should I hit the buttons hard? Or as softly as possible? What posture to have? I am asking, because, just after I finished guitar part of my project I am working on for already more than a month (#sky-music message) my left wrist seems to have problems.

I don't feel a pain, but I feel that I am losing a fine control over it. I started to struggle to make fast and precise movement when playing music. My left hand starts to skip notes when pressing buttons with it at rapid rate, which is needed for example at 1:44 in the video. It may be simply an overwork, but I usually can write text with all ten fingers on keyboard, so I don't think that my hand doesn't have enough strength. So I think it also may be a problem with my technique. To play music I only use my left and right index finger, because using other fingers would require my wrists to be twisted when playing on my small phone and I feel it horribly unergonomic.

What can I do about that? Can tips on internet about piano and drum techniques help here, or is too different from this?

Try to hit the buttons with your finger pad--the flat part of your finger with your fingerprint (not your finger tip). The idea with performing for other people is that our hands will shake sometimes and mess up a lot when we're nervous, feel that we have a lot of pressure to deliver well, didn't practice enough, etc. My advice to you is to try to practice the songs you want to a lot and continue even with mistakes (such as on multiple instruments to familiarize with the song). It's not a race to try to do everything perfectly in a few tries. When you feel that your mistakes are reoccurring less and less, then you can try to record and strive for perfection.

Additionally, when you feel you're starting to hit a wall, don't be afraid to take a well rested break for your fingers and your mind. I know for me I take a lot of breaks when I'm stuck and then come back to transposing and transcribing songs with a fresh mind. When your mind is refreshed, the ideas will come and burnout will be less.

i played plane of euthymia fansong, which is sung by raiden shogun’s chinese va. its just the chorus

also in order to play it i made a notes script for myself. every number corresponds to a note (1 = do, 2 = re etc). the up/down arrow = octave. b = flat. the underlining means the note bars, like how u have one fourth or one eighth notes. the 1 that’s hollow mimics the hollow note that symbolizes you need to hold out for some time

No no, you misunderstand. You can play sky notes with any number of fingers.

Practice! Oh and set your device down on a flat surface, don’t play only with your thumbs, and play songs you like ^^. Bluetooth headphones can also cause some delay, so use corded ones.

Start with simple songs and then slowly try harder ones
You can do it
