As I told jen privately because I don't know how to reply here: Hi, you need to get used to the key notes such as do-re-mi in your game devices such as smartphone or console, then practice out the tunes that you wanted. I finished practice Taiwan umbrella song yesternight, just have to play again during practice and fine-tune if possible.

How you play a Dminor?

Since all scales are the same in the instrument interface, instead of starting on the very middle note to play in a Major key, you start two notes to the left, making it a Minor key!
As for the specific key, those change by the area you’re in, to match the game’s music- so to play in D minor, you’d have to find an area with a theme that plays in either D minor or it’s relative major, F major! I don’t actually know which areas have which keys, but I bet you could find one if you looked it up!

there is not, but depending on how you listen to music, you can:

1. turn off sound effects and instruments completely, then music all the way up
2. go to the flight area and record the bgm until you’re satisfied (make sure you keep moving around so the music doesn’t stop early)

and then you can:
a) upload the video to youtube and listen to it there
b) on ios, extract the audio from the video (there’s lots of ways just google it) and save the audio to your files; if you play the audio file, it will continue playing when you enter another app

Late response but if you mean record your game while you’re playing the only way is pressing down the screenshot button (that little square with like a circle on it) for a few seconds and it’ll take a 30 seconds video, sadly you can’t record for longer so the only way to have a longer video it’s to have multiple 30 second video and then editing them yourself

personally, i learn a song (i learn small parts and then string them together into the whole song) and then play it over and over until i can play it relatively smoothly; then i just perform the song to strangers & friends alike and over time i get better at playing that song (and, in turn, sky music in general)

Not really ish, I know some instruments can kind of replicate the sound though if you spam the note for a long time (ie. The flute). I don’t think a sky piano sounds good doing that though

Though I would like to say, it doesn’t sound like a typical sky ‘bgm’. It felt kind of emotional, spirited in some parts, bittersweet in others. Rather than a ‘bgm’ that serves to set the mood, it sounds more like it’s own being and has a story of its own. Im not sure which vibe you were going for a full song or a bgm, but I just wanted to say that anyways. Regardless, the piece was wonderful.

Most thumb pianos are tuned to the C major scale (The notes you have in sky) so this can probably be done! If you really want to, you can probably look up thumb piano scales and transpose it yourself!

Ah, gotcha. Making a costume to match my skykid is hard enough, now making an instrument is really hard! Lol my keyboard is much too big (a proper big sized 88 key powerhouse) but I'm still using it anyways because it's the closest thing I have to a Steinway

Agreed, I think that lag is my biggest problem with music in game actually - my small harp is about the right size at 12 strings. It's just with that soundbox, it is very obviously different from the lyre we get in game. Missing those three notes and having no quick tuning capability also limits what can be played. My larger harp would be better for matching key/notes at 22 strings and levers, but same form factor issue with the soundbox. Plus too tall ^^;
