Has anyone tried to do Bryan Adams' "When you love a woman"? I just started to try and play instruments so I don't know how limiting they are. I used to play piano so I know notes but the in game keys are so much different I still struggle with using both hands and I'm still learning to coordinate them. I’m no composer myself, but I’m pretty sure many read actual sheet music and convert it into a sky format. Some just wing it and do it until it feels right

you can technically play whatever you like on the bugle, there’s not exactly any restriction as for what song you can play

Honestly, every song can go with horn. But the problem with horn is that it's extremely low and it's hard to make keys sound good together, so I recommend using high pitch while using horn

You can get a high pitch from going to valley and going back, same with vault

Check out the music guide for Sky - if you google that you’ll find it. I learned when the keyboard was listed as this - top row, from left to right is: A1, A2, A3, A4, A5. Middle row is B1, B2, B3… etc. and bottom row is C (1-5) - this is just a simple way to identify what key is what

Try to find a song you like, load it up and try to navigate to the “view music sheet” area.

Remember you can use YouTube and other places to see music people play in sky and transcribe it written down as you understand. I read using that sky ABC language and refer to the notes. If there are chords (more than one key at a time) I draw the grid you see when you play and use highlighters. A pic would help more, can send in a second.

I think the main reason you haven't gotten any replies is that trades (with real life currency, in-game hearts, etc) aren't really allowed on this server. DMs are okay, but trades of any kind are an at your own risk kinda deal that can't be tied to the server in any way, if that makes sense

That said, there probably are some folks who'd be okay with helping out with transcribing. Since we all have lives outside of sky though, and are spread around different time zones, it might take a while for someone who can assist to take note of your request. This also depends on if anyone is willing to take on such a project at this time

I hope this helps clear up the situation a bit, and that you are able to find assistance. If time is of the essence though, another option is to check sites like YouTube, to see if the song you wish to play has already been covered in Sky

sometimes the bgm in one area changes key, so even if youre staying in the same area the key will still change

Heylo - I will apologize in advance because I'm one of those casual musicians who doesn't know really know theory that well (mostly self taught), but anyways

When you look at a music sheet, you'll see that "#" symbol before the two 4s. That is signifying that the note who's line/space it's over is a sharp. The same can be said for the kinda "b" symbols you will see sometimes in that space, which are symbolizing a flat. As for which note those spaces lines are, there are a few rhymes that can help to remember. I personally use this little visual guide that I've attached though.

Once I know specifically which notes are sharp/flat, I then change the key in my program of choice until it matches.

After that, playing is like playing on any instrument with a limited range. If I need a higher/lower note than what the sky keypad allows for, I jump an octave or find a complementary note. Accidentals, I play the two adjacent notes to what I need, or again find a complementary note to play instead.
