im only a beginner at this so take my advice with a grain of salt, but i say start with vocals, and then add in violin. Most sheet music will have max 4 notes on one beat, so use that as a guide so it doesnt get so crowded. I also recommend searching up the karaoke version to make it easier.

Something weird just happened to me at home, I was trying to teach 2 newer players “you are my sunshine” as I knew it and could hear them both trying to play and then after a few minutes of them getting better at it a random stands in the middle of us and repeatedly does the nope emote at me whenever I was playing and then the stomp foot emote when I tried to continue. So I left and am pretty confused, he seemed happy when I walked away, even when the others kept playing though - just kinda sad because it was my first ever time teaching someone a song

You are limited by your own skills in transcribing them

Obviously not all songs are playable but a very high percentage is. There are libraries for music that can be played on sky that has songs transcribed by players
