Oh, you can!

Go to the "Control" settings in Sky, then click "customize controls" from "Mouse & Keyboard Settings".

It should let you map notes to different keys.

• open editor and convert the key to key of the music
• change bpm to the bpm of the music
• transpose from there

tips:

• winter piano is 1 octave higher than normal piano
• treat 1/2 (green) like eigth notes, 1/4 as sixth notes, etc, leave empty spaces as rests

GUYS I JUST WANNA ASK, for the Sky musicians here, has anyone been encountering the problem where on other players' ends you're having extreme delays/fast forwards/off paced sounds but on your end, everything sounds so smooth? Hello again, I’ve been working on your request for a more violin friendly Merry Go Round and came up with some ideas for a light, airy treatment inspired by real life solo violin techniques (double stops, runs, etc.) and a combination of staccato and sustained notes. The staccatos also serve to de-emphasize some of the harmonies that don’t exist on the Sky keyboard. I've found some only libraries of sheet music for this game, but if you have any more to share, I'd love to see them! I can also do normal piano sheet music, but it's kinda of a pain if it's not in the key of C/Am. I'm not skilled enough to transpose to the notes based on their position in a key on the fly. Let's start with common questions:

1. What song do you want to write? Cover? or your own original?
2. Are you experienced with making music before?
3. Do you understand in music notations?

Whenever I want to make my original music, I try to make the melody to get more inspiration first. I hum or play around with the melody, then replicate it to music notation / write it in sky sheet. It's easier if you know what sound you are humming, (like: C, D... etc to B) I always make the hook part first (The part where easy to remember, like in chorus or catchy melody) whenever I make a song. Then, I experiment with the chords progression. Honestly, you don't have to follow the tips and tricks to make your own songs, it's all by your ideas, imagination, emotions and experience.

I got you. Some Sky music websites start the lowest note at Q to B and in the game Sky from I to /. If you want, you can change the layout notes in the game Sky from Q to B also if you are having a hard time to practice.

You can also just try to get used to the 2 different layouts. Just need to remember that there are 5 notes sideways and 3 notes up and down.

I don't know the particular Sky music website that allows you to change the note layout, but maybe this one can? There'd be some GitHub programs that allow you to play Sky music online, like Mcbeeringi.

i found the sheet music for piano online. it would be really tricky to play because of the sharps within the main melody. you can get around it with creative transposition but honestly it wouldnt sound the same :/ sky is unfortunately very limited.

if you see sharps or naturals that make the main melody deviate from the key alot itll likely be quite hard to play in sky. i managed to make it work for wet hands by c418 but it was honestly really hard and the end result was a little disappointing. some songs work better than others and thats just the way sky is im afraid
