the only way to play saxophone out of harmony hall is with spells rn, but in 4-5 days I will have it.

Btw, it is really easy to get you just need to collect the tickets everyday, takes 10 mins at most. You can find guides on youtube :skytada:

i've used instruments in a site on pc when trying out songs with different instruments before harmony hall existed and the controls were the keyboard, it's not that uncomfortable

though playing too much would probably damage your keys especially if you're using a laptop lol

I’m trying to play a song on violin that has a irl music sheet for Cello. I need to transpose the notes to get the correct ones for violin. But this is my problem…I’m struggling to understand what should be changed or not. I read somewhere that you should transpose up an octave and a 5th. But would this also apply to the key signature of the music? The original piece is in A flat Major, but going up a perfect 5th would put it in E flat Major? And how do I know where on the staff the new (transposed) note goes when it changes from the base clef to the Treble clef?

If anyone here knows about sheet music in real life and knows how to do this, I would greatly appreciate some clarification here. Thank you for your time! 😭😮‍💨

This is a very vague question, but does anyone have tips on how to make the sustained-note instruments flow more smoothly? Whenever I play them, everything comes out too slowly if I try to hold the notes longer; the best I’ve been able to do is try to hold down a single harmonic note while moving the melody around but usually it still sounds choppy

or if theres not that you can try to see if you can look up the pitch/key of the song which will give you the general idea of what notes are in the song

They're usually simplified so it's easier to play

You would have to familiarize yourself with the notes on a guitar and then translate that to the sky instruments.

Also, any songs that are in a key other than C major, you have to transpose to C major, cuz sky instruments don’t have flats/sharps.

you can find sheets from sky music library on internet

and i also use !song command on sky bot's dm to make the sheet more understandable

well, when you download the txt of the sheet, all you see will be letters with number&dots. and they are pretty confusing for a beginner (im also a beginner and i find it confusing too). – and im not even mentioning the other document type because my device cant run it in the proper way

so if you copy the sheet txt and paste it in sky bot's dm after using the command, you'll get the more understandable version of the sheet
