My iPad is just old. And if I remember correctly, 5 years is pretty old in the computer world. I kinda want an upgrade. But at the same time, my current one is still working great. But I still have many limitations with my current device.

So on one hand, I can get a shinier iPad for a better experience with gaming. But on the other hand, my current iPad still works perfectly fine, while lacking quite a few features that modern day models have. I'm conflicted. I wanna play Sky in HD.

You could always sell your current one online, or maybe donate it to someone in need? (I would advocate for the second option, but I understand quite well that people need money to live.)

yes and we had no separate cutscenes from those for either season. last season that had a cutscene that wasn't tied to the quests (because there were no quests) was rhythm.

basically that cutscene in sanctuary where the spirits gather for a selfie was tied to completing the final bell quest and the shop appearing was tied to the last light quest. those were the final cutscenes

Unfortunately that's just par for the course in beta. There won't be compensation for that but you can still get it on live

They seemed to have figured out the issue since it’s not bugged anymore, but if there was an easy way to give them back they probably would have by now, sanctuary was different because it was the cosmetics that were bugged, not the hearts, so at this point unfortunately your hearts are most likely lost to the wind

The conversation has passed, but still want to put this out there as a reminder.

The sanctuary bug occurred because the filename was changed for the ultimate gift, so when you unlocked it, it returned a null error, the item was already in your inventory, but not displaying correctly. We fixed the issue that was causing the null error. It was less a compensation and more a bug fix, though the perception of the situation feels like one and the same in players' eyes. Like the #beta-faq states, we do not compensate for bugs in beta, the goal is to identify those bugs and fix them before they have a chance to appear in Live. If you do not wish to experience bugs that will not be compensated for, we kindly, but strongly recommend that you do not participating in beta testing. Wait to play the Live game where your experiences will be more polished and bug-free. It's not meant to be an expression that we are ungrateful toward testers, but doing compensation is a lengthy, manual process and takes time away from fixing bugs and polishing content. The fact that everything on beta can be wiped at any time as needed to serve testing purposes, means we'd be compensating for something that could be removed later anyway.

We understand that there are players who may not be able to obtain certain items on Live due to their paid component, but that is also covered in the #beta-faq that Beta is not a substitute for Live. We're incredibly privileged and grateful that we have so many passionate players who are willing to donate their time to Beta despite these disclaimers and frustrations.

I can't recall, did it still say a similar message last season for enchantment and sanctuary? It used to be related to completing the constellation but of late its been completing the main season arc of quests.

Either way I don't think anything has been implemented yet for beta testing and feedback regarding the final cutscene.

^that's kind of why i keep meticulously farming eden even in beta -- i want to get to the point where you're reborn with so many wing buffs you can jump straight back into eden to assist someone decently even if you haven't picked up any winged light

unit, i think it's partially influenced by how many heart gifts you send as well, but also check that you haven't unlocked any extra stuff like Lv2 hug or whatnot

I know this has probably been answered already, but in detail, a mural is a large scale painting, drawing, etc. You normally see these as street art, when people paint on sides of apartment buildings or on a large empty wall of your school. One person might've made it, or multiple people did. Murals don't only have to be paintings though. They can be carvings if they wanted. They can be used to tell stories and history and a lot more.

soap, the first variant of the glitch i learnt involved putting the "phantom table" close enough for you to press the sit icon, and then closing the menu -- that variant causes you to sit in a chair upon warping

the one i use more commonly just involves shoving the table's collision through my own sky kid, so when i warp, i'm either stuck in the table or falling from it if it's in midair

And yeah, I use that method as well, because again, my tables like to slide around. It's much easier to just slap it down on top of my skykid

And yeah, since being on the first floor in general after the elevator has moved on will make you rise up, it's probably going to be like that even when you warp unless it's beyond the floaty area

the table might be acting up slightly because the camera likes to readjust itself periodically if you don't have a finger on the screen; try to wait till the camera movement stops, then hold it steadily on top of you so you can tap a sit icon before closing the menu

i remember seeing some people say that the sitting variant is easier to do than the other variant for shorter sky kids, but i've found that i can make either one work pretty well if i just take out a candle to force my chibi to stand upright from sneak stance for a moment

every few months there is a round of invite waves. when an invite wave happens, there'd be a post in #beta-signup-info with an invite link you can use to claim a place in the beta program. the next invite wave won't be for a couple months.

I think this game having engaged beta testing opportunities that actually does influence elements of the live game, (as well as what blep said ^) AND a wish list that devs actually read and take note of is a HUGE plus. We’re very lucky really; many games couldn’t care less - play it as is or don’t.

i havent been around for as long, but my guess is to weigh more value to communication without words, like emotes, which are a core game mechanic. language barriers arent a problem, and its preferable to some people to interact with others without going through the ordeal of using words. theres also an element to consent with chat being behind barriers, giving the player more agency and in a way, privacy.

from the previous build, people had problems exchanging the hearts and ended up not gaining any when they already have completed the constellation. From the beta updates regarding the newest update, I'm unsure whether they have fixed that problem or not as it is not mentioned specifically too. Even the resize potions that me and other people reported, still no signs of fixes in beta although there won't be a problem in the live version.
