Those are skykids with the prophecy cosmetics, you can tell cause they’re all wearing the pants(the spirits have robes), plus they all have in game, non prophecy stances(from right to left, lazycool stance, polite stance, wide legged stance, crossed arm stance, and wise stance) plus the fire prophet is thinner than they are in the teaser art and in the spirit stories

ooze, in the game code, is a type of water (that causes damage) the way the node for that terrain is rendered is all one type, so we turned it off, which impacts all areas there is ooze. We'd have to split the node into two separate ones to leave the wasteland ooze functioning as water. It's not terribly optimized to do so and may cause a lot of performance problems.

@trail pond its beta and we’re beta testers, to be honest, this is the voluntary job we signed up for. Expecting compensation for a bug is... kinda silly... TGC doesn’t have to compensate us for anything. If it helps, you do still have live! Just get the cosmetics in live instead!

Beta is for the sake of Live version of sky. 
It would take quite a bit of extra time for TGC devs (who are comprised of 30-40 people) to take time out of their day to restore lost seasonal hearts for beta people. Especially when Live season is looming ahead and there’s always the future possibility of a progress wipe, if the devs see fit. I’m sorry for those who lost those hearts but you guys basically saved a lot of live people from experiencing the same thing.

@thick lion I don't know if this is the trick the pros use, but I've found that backtracking one or two candles as soon as you see a creature, then waiting there, seems to work pretty often. Those seem to usually be far enough off the creature's path to be survivable.

From someone who doesn't do fire trial regularly and only did it 2nd time today I suggest u try to find those candles which are safe to stand on and more importantly try to see the pattern in the Whispers movements. Oh and not throwing phones away, definitely helps in finishing the trial

We had this exact problem the other day, too - it only seemed to be forest. I haven't tried that realm with a friend again since.
