Before the last few updates to fire trial, I loved doing it and did it quite a few times over. Now with the spike in difficulty on the last difficulty spike they did, I personally only go in there to see what changed and bug hunt.

One of my only complaints with fire trial solo is it feels there are some places it feels they didn't adjust the difficulty correctly and we pretty much have to light 3-4 candles, die, come back light the next 3-4 die again before we hit a safe spot where I think bringing a friend would just nearly extinguish your flame, but solo, those dust bunnies just-

I’m just gonna ask this question just to make sure it’s bugged: in the fire trial, there’s one point exactly 6 candles away from the start point of the 3rd stage where no matter what me and my friends do we always die. We sat down so close to the candle that our bodies literally consumed the candle and yet we still die. Is this a bug or does my ultimate method needs to be modified?

Even if you end up reporting something that isn't an actual bug, it still lets us know that maybe the feature needs more clarity or some adjustments

Wyiott- I think the descriptive names you're using are the best way! Saying stuff like "shrine statues in the water trial" makes it pretty clear what you're talking about, since there aren't any other shrines there. Same with "check points"

I do think some players are finding the ridiculous ways to do it now because we've all done them many times at this point. like I went into water trial and chibi fell through the hills on purpose once. I also found a neat pit in the earth trial that you can't get out of today

Technically people cheese Sky's candle runs all the time by going OOB/chibi. It's an optional aspect of the game and I think the views people get from running along the top of the wall is pretty cool and would be a really great place for photos and to appreciate the level/scenery. I don't find cheating/cheesing the trial a negative thing. It does take skill, exploration and experimentation to figure out those routes. I personally like doing it the regular way and I just go home and use the return shrine to get a fresher map with less people.

I feel the frustration, Dragon. Did it each update solo since it came out. Just keep trying and learn their pathing. There are some points where the only way I could progress is light a few candles, die, light the next few, then book it due to how close the timing is set. It feels as though they don't want fire trial to be able to be deathless.

There's a corridor which I personally still haven't found a way to go through it deathless solo. I've said it before but will say it again. Difficulty is fine, but forced deaths should only be reserved for Eden as it has a purpose.

@oak berry Timing is key. Move instantly when the smoky creature passes your checkpoint, and move as fast as possible. It usually takes a couple of tries to get to the next check point if you run solo 😂 That was how i got through by myself

What do you guys think about this idea for the air trial?
Around the end of the trial where you have to use the air tunnel to land around those super small platform i myself find it difficult to land on them as the controls either force you to fly or you slide as you land. The platform moving as your being forced into the air makes this increasingly difficult and very tedious.

I'm thinking for the first platform for each wind tunnel it should be stationary instead

the witch hat definitely feels like something that should be an accessory much like the anniversary hat. (as it stands u can wear the witch had and anniversary hat and it looks FUNNY). It would be cute if it was separate because the game seriously lacks some good gender neutral hairs and besides, that witch hat with forest elder hair?? gorgeous!

Lantern was a different case. Its a unique item and the first of its kind to provide strong lighting from a back cosmetic slot. The reason its price stayed was due to its complex coding setbacks.
These items are (hopefully) much more simple to code in given its only new skins of well used functions in sky (hair change and cape change) so their pricing is also hopefully much more up for feedback.

Just remember everyone its still an IAP cosmetic so while I hope they consider lowering the price I doubt there will be drastic changes to it, maybe only a little cheaper, maybe not.
Its nice to want it to be cheap so you and all your friends can buy it but TGC still needs to be making money off it too. Running servers for millions of sky kids isn't cheap and of course we want everyone on staff team to be well paid too so I doubt it will change a huge amount.

@late mountain but then you also need to consider how much money they would make if they knocked the down to save 5 pounds/dollars etc each? You would have a considerably larger amount of purchases which would more than likely blow past the amount you would have made with the higher cost
