is the teleport to temple spell thingy working for everyone? it seems that it wouldn't work for me. tried using it alone and i didn't get teleported, while holding a friend's hand also, and also had a friend using that spell while holding my hand. none worked, they got teleported just fine, but i always got left behind. i wonder if it's just my device model only bug? i have of course reported it! it might be hard to disable specific friend tree options. Ik that when you finish eden and you fly with your friends into orbit and u land to hold hands u cant tap on each other at all. Why not just disable all friendship interactions. It would be more challenging if you cant use your friend as a crutch

I think removing the ability to piggy rocket or warp at certain places is very hard or maybe impossible to do. That's why they haven't removed the rocket yet even after so much misuse. So I think it's gonna stay.

I like the idea of a sky barrier people were suggesting. One like they added in prairie that time when sanctuary was opening soon (or at least that was the first time I hit it). That would work well for water, fire. Earth might be a little hard to add it in though and air it wouldn't work well so that still leaves those two.

@silent lily mostly I find warp is only used for warping to a friend after a server merge or coming to join them. It doesn't have much tactical use other than making sure you don't get server split most times. In valley would be a bit of an exception but valley race is also easy in the sense you can almost afk and still finish it plus the end scene brings you all together anyway. You wont be feeling silly because your friends are waiting for you as you fail a jump over and over in valley but you might in trials.

when it comes to vault though, i feel like it all depends on the player really. i myself wouldn't even use any glitch if i see someone else is waiting in the area, or at least i'd take them with me. you just have to be considerate of others i think.

@spark lance This is what I'm hoping to avoid by removing warp, you have to hand hold and go back for them if they're struggling. I guess they might get left behind instead though like you said depending on who it is. That will still be a problem even if warp is enabled though with your scenario.

Just a heads up for those that encountered the resize potion bugs. The potions do take effect, but you can't see it in action and have to restart the game. Atleast in my experience that's what happened.

@silent lily Hard to explain, I'm not full greyscale colourblind but a lot of colours look the same to me. The problem is though since many colours look the same I can't really tell which one I see. An example is I see brown, dark green and red all as the same colour so I call it red. They might actually all appear brown for me but I wouldn't know the difference so for simplicity I've decided to name that colour red for me. So following that these capes could be blue, purple or pink to me (assuming I remembered that colour batch correctly and didn't forget a few which is likely )

Edit: I appreciate the hearts, pats and hugs but I'm fine everyone I promise I'm quite happy to have a laugh over it all being the same and its really not a problem, I'm used to it (just no laughing over it in sky official since need to be keeping it related )

I feel like the worms need to give off some sort of dark red light, like a softer krill beam. The eyes aren't always facing you and until you meditate at the end I find them near impossible to see sometimes. Screen shaking is all good and well but I don't know which way to go to dodge

Because theyre essentially circular mistclouds with round eyes moving around its hard to tell which direction they're going in. But not sure how they would fix it

Another cool idea might be to have stationary (and dull) bullseye lanterns at the worm height and they can be you checkpoint to light up. Would allow you to see the worms when in the beam but they would be high enough to still not illuminate the ground or anything but the worm as it passes through all grey and dark.

I really like that its super dark and you have to sometimes make a little leap of faith to find the candle. The only issue i have is the worms being really hard to see. Maybe if their body was giving out a darkish red mist or sth so u can at least see them a little....

If they're really wanting to stick with the dark theme then maybe have white candle clusters of 4 or 5 all together once or twice between checkpoints. Then as the worm passes over screen shakes and it drains you but the five candles are just enough to keep you lit like 25%. Makes it intense but also feel like you're more in control and not shooting blindly in the dark with only luck since you can wait and time your runs.

The thing that concerns me the most about Trial of Fire is the overall appearance. I feel like most if not all of the challenge is still in a ''placeholder'' kind of finish. The textures are plain, the blocky stairs are very rudimentary, the gateways/portals seem out of place. I'm currently writing an extensive feedback for mostly the visual aspects of this Trial.

Also I saw at some point the devs said a height change is guaranteed when using a resize although it may be small. I think it was like a height change of 35 was guaranteed or something but I could be way off there. Not even sure you can see a change of 35 though out of 4000 so maybe no height change observed after all

I think the fairest and simplest way is by putting them in IAP.

Please report it if you got more than the game intended you to have (or less too. I reposted this message so people know this is the only way that works through the fire trial, having a chibi mask and sitting down also doesn’t guarantee to let you pass (I know because I have just tested that)
How to safely get through the fire trial (credits to @mellow atlas for testing this with me): bring a friend with you and hold the friend’s hand throughout. In the first section with the smoke, you both sit down at a candle after every 3 candles you light and wait for the smoke to go away. In the second section with the smoke, do the same thing but for every 2 candles you light (remember that this section has three waves of smoke)

So you just use the report abusive behavior option if you come across one of these folks in game? Makes me nervous having to friend someone who is clearly doing something illegitimate in game just to report them.

Edit; I had no idea what to do otherwise. The option in the tree wasn't lit so I just friended them with the intent of reporting.
I had a feeling it someone I had seen on here from a posted a pic by their cape so I lit them up and it was them. I blocked them afterwards. So it seems they are quite popular or obvious by their cape. I really hope something will be done about them and others like them.

Fire trial was a bit hard to understand for me, because i thought it was just purely based on luck
@frigid rapids It kinda is, sometimes you can just hold your friend’s hand and not sit down and you’ll still be OK, sometimes you just need to sit down on your own. But that doesn’t always work, this is the safest tactic I have devised and used it to uber 3 different people

On the fire trials as soon as the ground shakes stay at the candle your on or if you are halfway to one run back to the one you just left then you wont get hurt at all 🤍

We don’t know what is wrong with the spirit. The hackers are only getting the clothing. It could be other parts of it not working, so we as the testers can only be patient and wait
And if you see hackers, please just report them.

The hackers are also enjoying the whole spirit unlock where you burn, follow, and redeem. Not just cosmetics. I expressed this bcoz i felt bad to see hackers having chance to do pre-release contents to get views

that's because there's a bug where half the constellation is gone. (the left side of the favourites) people will send you light which creates the red dot, but you can't take that light because you can't get to those pages of the friend constellation because of the bug.

• light goes out quickly if you are walking in the darkness, especially noticeable if you are alone
• certain candles have been spaced out more
  -in the beginning of stage 3 candles were taken out from the winding section
